12's story is not original at all. But you forget about that when you see how BEAUTIFUL THE WORLD IS.
also being able to fight entire battles without TOUCHING THE CONTROLLER is pretty epic

Or not. And I MIGHT play ten-2, just because I never believe people about how bad a game is until I play it myself.

also being able to fight entire battles without TOUCHING THE CONTROLLER is pretty epic elaborate If it's like the auto-battle system in IV, then basically you set a command (like attack, or something) for each character, and when in combat if you press a certain button (on the DS it's X), they will just perform that command automatically whenever it's their turn. There are also things in IV you can pick up to help with this, like auto potion- when in auto-battle, a character equipped with auto-potion will always use a potion if they get hurt.

The DS versions is the only version of IV that has Auto-potion.

THAT'S A LOAD OF BULL HONKEY. If that's the case, you might as well burn the game altogether and just read FINAL FANTASY: THE PICTURE BOOK. AUTO BATTLE MY PINGAS. The only thing that separates RPGs from books is the ability to DO STUFF.

The only thing that separates RPGs from books is the ability to DO STUFF. It's mostly for weak mobs. It doesn't quite work against bosses.
