It means that I work hard, get shit done, and can still say that I love a particular ideology that most people associate with laziness.

I try to plan ahead and get stuff done....but I'm me, so I forget a lot. I think my memory is getting worse.

I would work ahead, but when I would be working ahead I'm busy doing other stuff that I have to have done. It's an endless cycle.

I've taken this whole year off. Lit required only reading and FOCUS UMA during essays. Gov was mostly book.
So, yeah, juniors: your class is the last easy senior year. after that 24 credits are required instead of 22. LIVE IT UP! TAKE AS FEW CLASSES THAT COUNT AS POSSIBLE! I will always be thankful I decided against a math course this year.
Its funny to sit in study hall and watch a lot of other kids studying (cramming/worrying) for AP calculus and AP Biology (which is a bastard of a class; don't take it) and I have nothing because I was smart.
Sorry, TOBY.

I would take AP biology just for fun. But planet watching sounds fun too.

Tyler, did you even have a science class?
And I would have taken only AP Lit and Gov/Econ with band and three art, but my mom said that was too much fun.....so I replaced an art with AP Stat.

Sorry, TOBY. DAMNIT! Then again, if I survive this night I'll have plenty of time to get work done, as I'm sure as hell not seeing this computer again AT LEAST until the end of May. This thread started with a situation from which I made a lucky escape. In this case, I am absolutely fucked. Even if it doesn't happen tonight, it's unavoidable. EDIT: Overdramatic post aside, I seriously won't even have a computer anymore once my dad sees my progress report and the note written on it

lol. The only difference in my schedule from Tyler's is that I still have a math class. But considering I have Dr. Vermilya, it's really not that bad.
Senior year whoo!

In fact, no explosion occurred and no punitive measures have been taken so far. I attribute this to the fact that it was already 11:30 when my dad saw my progress report. Even so, I'm still probably screwed.

Dr Vermilya was awesome.
And to nicole: no, I have no science course this year. I don't need it, Physics was the third and last required class. Algebra III was the last require math. SO I SAID FUCK THESE CLASSES, TOOK TWO BAND CLASSES, A COMPUTER CLASS, AND PSYCHOLOGY/SOCIOLOGY

Darn....I wish I could have dropped math....but Stats is all calculators, and I like to play with them, so I should at least be somewhat entertained. WHY COULDN'T I GET DR. VERMILYA AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, wait....he doesn't do AP. Guess I get Mrs. Paine again.

I've gotten so good at it, it's actually made me better at doing math, too.

I really wanted to take AP Physics this year, because I was trying to find the perfect classes to complement my desire to be an Electronic Engineer.
MY CHOICES WERE:
AP Calculus AP Physics AP Computer Science Engineering Drafting and Design
WELL, calculus was a must, so I took that. I'M A SUCKER FOR TEH MATHS. Engineering D/D was also must because it was perfect for the whole practical experience. Then I was down to choosing between CS and Physics...Being an EE requires both programming and physics experiences, but I thought to myself that in case I ever decided to branch away from engineering into a similar field (which very well may happen) the Computer Science experience might be more relevant. So, I chose APCS and have enjoyed it thoroughly.
ANYWAY, I type all that to say: KIDS (i.e. non-seniors), choose classes that may complement your career path and allow you to get a taste of what you plan to spend the next 50 years of life doing for a living. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU TAKE AP STATS if you had no desire to be either a statistician or professional gambler? I mean really, AP Stats is already useless to people who actually like math, so what sense does it make for someone in a field completely unrelated to math to take the class?
Senior year isn't about the challenge. Out of 400 seniors, I'm sure everyone but 1 or 2 Asians will agree with me. Senior year is about having fun and easing your way into the real world. NEXT TIME A PARENT TELLS YOU TO DO SOMETHING THAT WILL BENEFIT YOU IN NO WAY WHATSOEVER, CALL ME AND I WILL HAVE HIM/HER EXPORTED TO ASIA WITH THE REST OF THOSE OVERACHIEVERS.
