Haven't done it yet, but my weapon of choice would be a super special awesome sword made of super special awesome high impact foam. Lucco managed to break 3 swords with his carpet padded ridicublade, so something that could withstand a few blows from it would be excellent. It'd also have daggers hidden within the hilt for SURPRISE ATTACKS. And I'd be followed by my satellite cannon, too, ready to shoot unsuspecting fools...

Except for the satellite cannon. Those are only at Wal-Mart.

Well, basically you just need a core and some padding. Suitable cores would include things like graphite rods, PVC pipes and golf clubs, at least one of which can be picked up at Wal-mart. Then you'd get some foam padding which can be gotten at Home Depot, Lowe's and other such places. Take the core, cover it in padding, use some duct tape and BAM! instant weapon.

Adamczyk will be having a 'weapon construction party' of sorts on Wednesday, so feel free to go.

Now THAT might be interesting. While I have no intention of LARPing, I keep a collection of weapons which could injure someone about as easily as a spoon. Learning how to make one would be sweeeeeet
