Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 32 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 30%, but much higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Door-to-door Insurance Sales, Cheese Exports, and Book Publishing industries.
Half of The Fainlands's doctors can't speak the language, criminals are executed and their property seized, record sales of 'child-whacking sticks' have been recorded, and it's a common sight to see angry commuters with grenade launchers mounted on their vehicles. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Fainlands's national animal is the Gurren-Lagann, and its currency is the Card.

Its compassionate, cynical population of 32 million are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Religion & Spirituality. The average income tax rate is 70%, and even higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Information Technology.
Drunk drivers are sentenced to death, there has been a series of riots between local cannibals and health food advocates, children as young as twelve are conscripted into the armed forces, and Red Cross demand for body bags are rising while sutures are decreasing. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Fedaland's national animal is the godzilla, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the derryk.

The latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, the death penalty has been reintroduced, immigrants are required to salute the flag five times a day, and the government is notorious for leaving citizens with almost nothing from their inheritance. Crime is moderate. Negronos's national animal is the Shama Cow, and its currency is the Kapa-Chow.

My economy is strong, people have some civil rights, and few political rights. I don't really know how I became Psychotic Dictatorship, but as you can see, I've been trying to break free.
