Using a bit of his remaining strength, the Time Keeper replaced his arm. "Can't go out in two pieces, now can I?" He smiled, in spite of hid impending death. He watched the sand trickle down the hourglass. He heard Superion and Zais yelling, and he could but chuckle. It was soft at first, but erupted into a full blown fit of laughter.
Zais, Superion, and Karxm all turned to see why he was laughing. As the last grain of sand fell, Guy Rill turned ans said, amid laughter, "You're all screwed!" Suddenly his body fell away, all at once. He had turned to sand and fell apart. The hour-staff held its position a moment longer before, too, falling and shattering, spilling more sand on the ground.
"What a mess." Karxm observed. "What do you suppose he meant? I guess it matters not." He turned back to Zais. With a snap of his fingers, he sent his Banshees after him.

Zais sighed in annoyance and slew the banshees in a single sweep. "Now honestly....cant we just go back to our respective places...." he said. Another dark portal appeared behind him.

"Nope." Karxm stated plainly. "Nothing personal, I just have to kill you. Kinda my thing." He gave a sideways smile. "We do this now or later, your choice." He threw up his hands. Either one was fine.

Zais sighed. "Later then. I need a nap. No more than one climactic battle in one day." He said and walked to the portal.
"Oh and killing......thats my thing too." Zais said and turned back to Karxm. His eyes flashed red.

"Hmph..." Superion said, turning away from Zais as he lowered his sword. He examined the pile of sand that had once been the Time Keeper and silently questioned what the Time Keeper had met. No sense in allowing him to go to waste. Superion thought. He retrieved a plastic bag from his pocket and scooped up some of Guy's remains, placing them in the bag for safe keeping.
"What do we do now?" Superion asked Karxm. As Zais was ready to leave, Superion was eager to do something else. Without an antagonist to fight, he wanted to find the next of his 3 orbs: The Orb of Earth.

"What?" Torran exclaimed. "More of you!" He tried to attack again, but was unable. He was spent, his powders were running low and having little effect. He was only human. Gree was something else. He had to do something he couldn't just... he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Take a break young one, I'll finish up here." Aev'Uldron Theska pushed Torran away from the fight and stepped in. The eight Humors buzzed around his head. "You and your dark ilk are not welcome here!" He opened his hands and light poured out. The light engulfed the shadow beings and erased them. The light surrounded Greea dnt he other burning them and pushing them back through the rift. Back to Zais' Tower.
Satisfied, he made his way back to the main floor of the Tower, Torran trailing wordlessly. He exited the Tower and stood on the ground before it. He placed his hands on the earth and pushed his light into it. It spread out and surrounded the Clock Tower. The ground seemed to glow afterward.
"Zais' shadow being won't be able to penetrate the light for some time." He assured Torran. "Come noe hild, it is time we regroup. We are on our own now." Torran turned to look Theska in his eyes, horrified. "Yes child, he is gone."
END SAGA ONE!
