I'm here. After talking with Nicole, I'm back on an Eva high. I forget where we are, and I need an outline for the next chapter again. Waiting patiently while I work on another Evangelion project.

In the last chapter Rei said that she needs shinji to get suited up, cause an angel is on the way. I believe the Angel is Shamshel.
Well, Shinji fights the angel and the whole situation basically plays out like the original episode, save for one difference. During the middle of the fight, NERV reports that they have lost radio contact with a ship out in the English channel.
So Shinji and the angel are grappling for their lives (Make sure that shinji doesn't lose his umbilical cable) when suddenly, a humongous spear rips through Shamshel. Enter Klaus.
Klaus and Shinji duke it out for the crown resulting in an English victory.
Then mention something about catching some pirate ship and how one of the crew members seems to have some sort of connection with the old German Eva project or something.

just in case, know that I haven't abandoned this yet. I just can't divide my attention between two Eva-fics without one or both of them suffering. Besides, I feel what I have (which admittedly isn't much) deserve a rewrite. Following the completion of NPE (or once I'm satisfied I can handle both at once) I will rewrite the opening chapters to Gaslight.
Things to look forward to: Lord Gendo being just as manipulative

Probably. The universe needs to be more well defined, such as exactly when things diverged. It could be that War of Worlds happened, the Martians lost to germs, and then we stole their shit.
