I haven't played the sims in a while, and I thought I'd take a break from my legacy goal and play a new house hold for a while. A house hold that holds YOU GUYS! Only eight people are allowed in a house, including me, so I have seven spots. The Sims 3 is very customizable, so I'd let you choose your traits, favorites, job, appearance (if you want). I'll explain each of these later and list them for you.
Instead of the normal bars where you choose neatness, niceness, etc, you now choose five traits. There are four categories: mental, physical, social, and lifestyle. You are allowed to choose only five traits. Not five of each, five total.

Food: waffles, french toast, pancakes, fruit parfait, autumn salad, cheesesteak, dim sum, fish and chips, grilled cheese, grilled salmon, hamburger, hotdog, lobster thirmidor, mac and cheese, pbj, goopy carbanara, ratatouille, spaghetti, tri-tip steak, stu surprise, sushi, cobbler, cookies, key lime pie
Music: electronica, pop, latin, indie, classical, kids, custom (which are the songs I personally put into the game)
color: blue, aqua, terquoise, spice brown, green, irish green, lime, grey, orange, purple, spiceberry, violet, lilac, pink, hot pink, red, white, sea foam, yellow, black
Jobs can be very complicated but easy in this game. There are certain tracks you can follow, starting from the bottom and making your way to the top. There are usually ten levels for each career, but there are also part time jobs, and you can make money other ways. You can also be a painter and sell your paintings, or become an author and gain royalty checks. I'll list the career tracks.
Jobs: Business, Culinary, Criminal, Journalism, Law Enforcement, Medical, Military, Musician (which can go two ways. You can go classical and play at concerts or be a rock star. Your choice.), Political, Science, and Professional Sports Career.
Part Time Jobs: Bookstore Clerk, Grocery Store Clerk, Receptionist, Spa Specialist, and Mausoeum Gravedigger (depressing, eh?)
Other: Painter and Author (you can have a part or full time job along with this)
If I ever get ambitions during this experiment, I'll let you change jobs if you want.
Appearences can be extremely customizable in this game. I'm not very good with making faces, but I'll get as close as possible. Basically, I choose how fit you are, your skin color, your height, your clothes (everyday, formal, swimsuit, underwear (muahahaha), excersize), your hair, shoes, etc. But the customization doesn't end there. I can also choose your voice and tweak it to my liking. Basically, I can make you look however you want. You could be a biker with tons of tattoos (which you can get in this game. Haven't tried it yet since I only recently discovered it), or you can look like a clown (they have facepaint).
Everything is up to you. Let me know what you want, and I'll do it for you.
Also, when it comes to making other people, it can be pretty easy. When it comes to making myself....I don't know what to pick. So if you guys could list the traits you'd think I'd have.....
