I think I've given enough of my money (all of it) to the movie industry.

How can this be? We live in an age where computer technology can do WHATEVER WE FUCKING WANT to a movie, and yet we seem to be in a complete dearth of GOOD fantasy/scifi movies.
I mean seriously. We got LOTR, the Chronicles of Narnia, and Star Wars II and III. And Star Trek.
We should have more magic and space epics, simply based on the level of computer-graphics technology alone, but we don't. I, for one, and severely disappointed.
When I say scifi, I mean SPACE -OPERA level science fiction.

Every single book on my shelf (well, 95% of them) is either fantasy or science fiction, and MOST of them are epic enough to make epic movies.
Almost any Terry Brooks series (all VERY cliched, but still good) would work. The Heritage of Shannara, specifically (Adam knows).
Brent Week's Night Angel Trilogy
Gail Z Martin's Chronicles of the Necromancer
Also, ANYTHING by Peter F. Hamilton

For that, we just give my sister a second camera and have her film us filming the movie.

If we go to a matinée showing, I'll have $3 left over. If you can find $4.50 then you're set.
