The dragons flew above them towards the cliffs in the distance. The market abruptly ended when the stone trail led to a path that curved upwards, zigzagging back and forth across the slope that faced the port. The path led straight to a massive collection of buildings that all the dragons in the sky seemed to center around. The area was obviously old, but it was kept in shape constantly. Old stone and stained glass windows made up the academy that was so revered in the world. Dracina could just make out the tip of the highest building that had many dragons perched upon in.
When the group made it to the top, they would see that all the buildings were circled around a mural made of colored stones. They swirled into the school's insignia, a dragon in mid flight. The head of the dragon reminded Dracina of her own medallion. The main building towered over the others beside it and was an astounding forty five floors. Three of them held a massive door adorned with carvings of fire. A few stories above the door was a stained glass window. It was just as large as the door, possibly larger, and displayed an enormous black dragon breathing fire while a young man rode on his smaller golden dragon. He carried a sword, but it couldn't have been made of glass, for it glowed as if the sun reflected its rays off of it at all times of the day.
The building rose high into the sky with small towers branching off of it and perches placed accordingly for the dragons and creatures. To the side of the main building was a beautiful garden path that must have led to the cliffs. If one looked just above it, they could see a massive hoard of scaly creatures flying restlessly.
The sight of the buildings was breath taking. It emulated dominance over the entire island and could be seen from miles away, for Dracina had seen it before she even reached port. Nothing less could be expected from the Dragon Academy of Dues Spiritus.
