I actually saw a Metroid: Other M commercial for the first time just half a minute ago. I wasn't paying any attention to the TV at first, but then...that voice...I knew immediately what it was...THE MELODRAMA, IT BUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRNSSSSSSS.

On a tangent here, in retrospect I don't think I realized how much Awesome Land's RIDLEY was copying this one. I knew I had taken the name and basic design, but in remembering how many times Metroid Ridley has come back only to be killed by Samus only to come back vai SCIENCE only to be killed again, I find it funny that AL Ridley has done the same through crazy science or magic or time reversal just as many times, if not more so...
If Awesome Land is ever made into a (commercial) video game, remind me to change him into a squirrel or something...

Or an actual dragon, instead of a Pterodactyl.
And his name can be...Ripley...
Scratch that. Make him a Pterodactyl, that way RIPLEY can stand for Rabid Intelligent Pterodactyl Lead to Eliminate You.
