Loki grinned. "I'm right here fool!" He cackled.
"There is no will controlling him." Zais said. "Loki is dead. This NEW Loki is the will made by the combination." Zais said, utterly calm. "A being created through the combination of life.." FOr some reason Zais tightened his hands into fists when he said this, a flash of anger in his eyes. "Nothing more."
Loki swung again, his arm sharpening until the entire length was a blade.

"Zais..." Leon looked down and began to laugh...an odd laugh that combined nervousness and anger. "I'll kill you for this...I can take you blowing up things...commandeering local taverns...even cutting off a head or two...But when you tamper with the most sacred thing: life..." Leon jumped backward and sheathed Telumbra. "I'll cut you down...I'll cut you all down!" Leon laughed as Masamune began to glow brightly. "With this...The Blade of Light, Masamune...I'll kill you and everyone one of your demons, Zais!" Leon yelled as he fired waves of wind toward Loki...or what was left of him.

(I figured someone would ask about that. I had originally wanted to put 'corrupt' instead of 'tamper', but 'tamper' sounded better at the time, IMO. When you kill someone, it's like releasing their spirit, but by f***ing with their life by fusing them with a demon, THAT'S tampering. Sorry for the misconception.)

This is hopeless...he is too far gone... Leon thought to himself before remembering his true goal. "My body is coursing with electricity right now. If I don't get on with the main plot soon, I'll die without seeing the rest of my goal come to fruition. Zais! Tell your creatures I'll be back. This is it! I will crush you, Earth Guardian!" Leon yelled as he held Masamune toward the sky. Lightning flew from the blade as Leon stared at the guardian with anger and murderous intent.
"Die!" Leon yelled. Masamune glowed with nonsensible intensity, enough to blind anyone in the desert climate and Leon held it directly toward toward H'razia's chest/torso whatever she had because she was part of the Sea of Sand. He ran directly toward her with the Light and Thunder charged Masamune and thrust the blade directly into her chest, sending huge pulses of electricity into her, courtesy of Loki's accursed weapon.

H'razia screamed in agony, as her sand-body fell apart. He cries multiplied with the numerous tiny fragments that cascaded down on the city. Then it went silent, for a second, it appeared to be over.
But, alas, it was not.
A small. glowing sphere rose form the sand: the Orb of Earth. From it, H'razia's voice called out "You just don't understand, I AM the Earth Orb!" Sand exploded upward, surround everyone gathered in the story in a giant sandy maelstrom. In the center hovered the Earth Orb, but whenever anyone got close, sand lashed out, throwing them back. It also exfoliated their skin. But then it peeled away....
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Zais watched with interest. "Well, you can still fight Leon." he said. He saw Hermit struggling on the ground nearby. "Well I must say this has been fun, but I think it is time to leave." he snapped his fingeres and a darkness portal appeared. "Okay boys time to go." the demons began filing through the portal slowly.

Leon smiled as Zais lined up his demons to go...wherever demons go when they aren't being evil. This would give him the time necessary to defeat what he hoped was the guardian's final form.
Millions of thoughts raced through his mind as the electricity coursing through him moved closer and closer to his brain. If my brain is hit by these jolts of electricity, not even my most powerful spell will be able to save me...I have to figure this out. Leon thought as he spat sand out and rubbed his soft, almost non existent skin.
The thoughts continued to circle Leon's mind until one in particular came to him...
"You just don't understand, I AM the Earth Orb!"
"The Orb of Earth...It must be her weak point. It has to be!" Leon exclaimed happily as the electricity crawled around to his chest. "Ugh...better hurry up." Leon laughed, stabbing his sword into the ground. He lifted up Telumbra and yelled "Orb of Wind that I do wield, create for me an Aero shield!" Although his spells normally required no incantation or rhymes, this particular, potentially victorious spell did. A small cyclone appeared around Leon, moving in the opposite direction of the sand storm, causing the sand within a foot of him to stay completely still.
He approached the heart of the storm and the Orb itself, wondering how he would bypass the arm that would knock him away. He lifted up his sword again and began to progress.

Matteas glimpsed Leon pushing deep into the sand vortex. Reaching out with his powers, he added another shield to the wind shield.
"Go for it, Leon!"
H'razia lashed out, but struck Matteas's shield, allowing Leon to keep going.
"NO!"

Mari saw what Matteas was doing and added an extra wind sheild around him to help propel him forward.

"Only...a few minutes until this electricity ends me. Here goes..." Leon said light heartedly. No matter how dangerous the situation was, Leon rarely broke under the pressure. "Guardian of the Earth Orb...with this blade...be struck down!" Leon yelled. The wind shields from Mari, Matteas and himself allowed him to move directly below the Orb of Earth with his sword once again facing the sky.
The electricity was crippling him again, and if he planned on surviving this battle and making it to the next saga he had to make this blow count. He had a technique that could accomplish this...but would decrease his life count to mere seconds. He began focusing the energy in his body and actually forced the electricity to move more quickly toward his brain and the rest of him as well. Like a living circuit, millions of volts ran through him as he stabbed directly upward toward the Orb and awaited the result...whether for better or for worse.

A terrible scream shook the ground, causing nearly everyone to loose their balance. The wind picked up momentarily, buffeting everyone with fine grains of sand. The shriek reached a frequency above normal hearing, then plummeted downward, and died out. The sand stopped spinning suddenly, and rained down on the city (again). The earth orb fell into Leon's open hand.
then the Sea of Sand began to drain out. Previously held up by the power of H'razia, it all began to funnel out through the great pit that lay beneath it.
Then Byll Nie's Flying Tower swooped in and picked everybody up. Leon, Matteas, Mari. Hermit got on too.
Johnny was there waiting. "Did you get it?"

The Earth Orb began to glow, as most orbs tend to do when their power activates. A strangely convenient power of normal ground that fits well with Zais' evil trap was that the earth grounded electricity, virtually nullifying its effect. A light aura appeared around Leon as the electricity that had plagued him for the latter part of the saga faded away completely, milliseconds before delivering a lethal shock to his brain. He coughed up some sand and blew the rest off with a wind spell before laughing and saying "Yea...Haha...We got it." He showed the Orb to Johnny before placing it safely inside his staff, right under the socket that held the Wind Orb.
"Next up is..." Leon passed out, exhausted from his affairs in the previous battle. When he awoke again it would be time to move on to the third of the elemental orbs, the Orb of Fire. But what challenges will find them? Will Hermit cross to the good side? Will Zais ever stop being evil? (NO) Will Johnny explain how he and Bill Nye conveniently appeared after the battle was over?
