Bio:While her big sister was going around Sinnoh doing errands for Prof. Rowan, Samantha stayed around Celestic Town and looked after her grandmother, who was the town's elder (Ten cookies to whoever figures out who her sister is). Sometimes she would go outside of town to see the wild pokemon in their natural habitat and that's when she started drawing pokemon. She drew them so well that people passing through Celestic Town would offer to buy her "wonderful masterpieces." She met Kurt as a part of the welcome party when he moved to into Celestic Town and is Kurt's only non-pokemon friend. She became a trainer solely to protect Kurt when he would go out to research and videotape various historical things. She left with Kurt to Novien because she thinks Kurt won't survive without her.
Appearance: She is a little bit taller than Kurt, long dirty blonde hair, and she wears a blue jacket over a green shirt and black pants.

(still deciding…I think he will hold almost all of his Pokemon in his backpack, but will only use certain 6 in battle, and according to League rules, will only exchange them at Pokemon Centers)
Bio: Born and raised in Olivine City, Asaph found a love for the ocean, seeking to grow stronger and travel the world. When he was 8, Asaph found an egg, which hatched into his beloved Farfetch'd, who soon became his prized fighter, armed with its haxy Stick. Hoping to become a master trainer, Asaph foolishly challenged Jasmine with his sole bird. After a swift thunderbolt from Jasmine’s Magnemite, Aspah began to run in shame. Jasmine stopped him, advising him to travel along Johto, build his team, and begin his gym challenge with Faulkner, who could probably give Asaph tips on the abilities of his Farfetch’d. Catching several Pokemon along the way, Asaph completed the Johto League, moving onto the Kanto, Sinnoh (where he caught his second favorite Pokemon, Buizel), and Hoenn Leagues as well. On his return from Evergrande City to Olivine, he overheard several trainers mentioning a region called Novien. After filling his backpack with hoards of items and all of his Pokemon, he got on the St. Anne and sailed to his current destiny. Although Asaph has grown much stronger since that fateful battle with Jasmine, he is still uneasy about his skills, growing despondent after defeat and weary about the safety of his Pokemon after several encounters with ruthless trainers.
Appearance: A 5’ 11.75’’ male of plain appearance, Asaph wears jeans and t-shirts. His glasses are a tad thick, but they are not magnifying glasses, so Asaph does not mind.

I originally meant for Bob to be a filler to only say "Wow, that guy is riding a Farfetch'd," so that he would segway into Asaph, but now I think I may develop him. Also, can you tell me more about the geography of where the Circus is? I just assumed there was a Pokemon Center nearby.

Sure.
Ipronen City is basically the urban center of the Novien Region. Both culturally, and geographically. The Circus is set up in a sports dome near the center of town. Its a city, so, big buildings, corruption, and all the jazz.
On a lesser note, there are no Gyms here, but the dome is where the Pokémon League Tournament is held every year, for one month. Ten badges are required for entry in the tournament, out of Novien's sixteen. the winner of the Tournament is crowned League Champion, and is then given a chance to fight the Region Champion. Region Champ is considered strongest other than the Elite Four. If League Champ wins, he holds both titles for a year, if not, he keeps League Champ.
The Region champ can actually be challenged at any time, as long as there is an official judge. Region champ cannot compete in League.
Now that I think about it... you the Battle Zone, from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum? I was thinking of putting Novien to the north/east, and be a part of that landmass...

Bio: A reserved man that likes to take walks. He used to train Pokemon, but a terrible accident befell him, causing him to give up all of his Pokemon to Professor Elm and flee to Novien. He now takes care of a Chatot, Paul, that he bought at a local pet store, using him as an escape from his loneliness. Bob eventually meets Asaph on his way to view the local Circus.
If you want to know what happened to Bob, highlight the text below (I do not know which of the buttons makes a 'spoiler').
Bob had a rough life. He never really had a close relationship with his parents, as both were scientists on Cinnabar Island. Although Bob visited often, he was still very lonely. Bob decided to become a Pokemon Master, choosing Charmander. After defeat from Brock, Bob fled to Johto to get a Water Starter, Totodile. In this encounter, he became a close friend of Professor Elm, who helped Bob learn about breeding, giving him the Mystery Egg and helping him find the Odd Egg that hatched into Elekid. Bob became League Champion and entered the Kanto League, only to stop at his first badge after hearing that Cinnabar Volcano had erupted, killing everyone on the island still there, including his parents. Guilty that he did stay with his parents on Cinnabar Island and instead became a Pokemon trainer, he gave up his Pokemon and fled to the farthest place the St. Anne would take him, Novien. Professor Elm still keeps in touch with Bob, having evolved both his Electabuzz and Rhydon in a joint experiment with Professor Rowan.

I wanted to reveal it later in the story, but in all honesty it really doesn't matter. I don't know about sextupling the size of the Battle Zone. Since Pokearth is essentially Japan (look here bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pokemon_world_in_relation_to_the_real_world), we could make Novien the area North of Kanto, or an island completely seperate of PokeJapan. Whichever makes it work better. |

North of Kanto/Johto works better, actually. North of Sinnoh would imply a cold climate.
