Name: Jerricks "Jeri" Solvert
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Race/Faction: Human; Frontier League - Lightstorm
Description: Long light brown hair and deep blue eyes. He has a longish face that has been described as "smooth". He isn't tall by human standards, only around 5'7'' but he is genetically adapted to zero-gravity life, a trait he inherited from his parents. Fit, but not muscular.
Bio: Jeri Solvert is the eldest son of Merven Solvert, a member of the Lightstorm clan of the Frontier League. Merven was a trader for the clan and frequently dealt with the Ske'ar tribes and as a result became a well known human among the Ske'ar. His ship was the Light of Day. One day when Jeri was 13, the Day arrived back at the spaceport on Feldman. Realistically, the ship belonged to Jeri, but since he was not sixteen, ownership passed to the clan head. Instead of being used, the ship languished in port for three years until Jeri broke in a stole the ship. Technically, he stole from the clan, and should he ever bump into another Lightstormer, they could arrest him.
So he's avoided Lightstorm clan territory for seven years while continuing his father's practice of trading, albeit among Union and Ske'ar space. In the back of his mind sits the mystery of his father's disappearance, but since there were no leads and no witnesses, he does not know where to start. Even the hired crew vanished.
Jeri is somewhat of a loner, and holds a distant view of Frontiersmen that jumps between admiration and cynicism. Union politics grates on him like nothing else - inability to act is the ultimate character flaw in his eyes. At heart he is a genial person, but a lifetime of trading and living alone has caused him to think more in terms of profit, which he is slowly accepting, grudgingly.
Weapons: He carries a standard Union Navy-issue Guass gun, mroe out of habit than practice - he doesn't get into a lot of scuffles; the life of a trader is not as glamorous as the media paints it. He also possesses a Ske'ar sword - a gift to his father from a Ske'ar tribal leader.
Other: Understands the Ske'ar language enough to survive if he were suddenly dropped into their culture.
