I though about this the other day. Most novels accomplish something. Whether teaching a lesson or explaining something. More importantly, the main character usually learns something and gains new appreciation for life.
this is waht I want: a novel where the main character is perfect, i.e. he has no flaws, is well liked and possibly and asshole. Everyone else is the same. they embark on whatever plot there is for selfish reason. Nothing goes wrong, everybody lives, no one betrays anyone.
AN NO ONE LEARNS A GODDAMN THING!
I would read that book.
