en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langton's_ant A rather fascinating cellular automaton if i do say so my self. The rules for this little chaotic creature is as follows. At a white square, turn 90° right, flip the color of the square, move forward one unit At a black square, turn 90° left, flip the color of the square, move forward one unit Now as simple as those rules are, they produce surprisingly complex results. After a couple thousand steps, the ant will always produce a "highway" or multi-staged straight line. If you would like to have your own Turmite (the official term for the ant itself), follow this link. It will lead you to a free, non-downloadable Java application. www.annanardella.it/ant.htmlIf you would rather have a "Turmite Farm," then follow this link. users.tkk.fi/jblomqvi/langton/
