Keep in mind that I am not a programming deity and will need assistant programmers (WHICH NO ONE HAS VOLUNTEERED FOR) for something like Kingdom Hearts. As I mentioned earlier, I'm using RPG Maker 2003, which by default has the Active Time Battle system. However, if I got enough programmers willing to try hard enough, I'm sure we could get a different battle system in, and perhaps even use a different programming language (LIEK JAVA) altogether.
As of now, however, it's ATB with RPG Maker 2K3 for simplicity reasons.

Sorry, but I don't know anything about programming otherwise I would help. Sounds cool.

ATB is better than standard turn based (FF style) at least it has the ILLUSION of real time.
Who else will be in the party? Johnny... Cha cha? Narrator?

Sorry, but I don't know anything about programming otherwise I would help. Sounds cool. LEAAAAAAAAARN! And thanks for the verbal support. Tyler: For the first chapter its just Johnny. For chapter 2 it's Johnny, Cha Cha, Narrator and Derp-bot. Then it's Johnny, Cha Cha, Narrator and DANTE LOL for 3. Occasionally there will be areas of the game where you play just as Veralice. The party stays like that for a while until the final chapter where Veralice joins up with Cha Cha, Johnny and Narrator after Dante goes unconscious. If I figure out how to finagle in Zento and Mass as playable characters, that might work.

but they all just leave at some point and never show up again. Or are you assuming control of those and making them stay?

Not without looking at each other's screens first, lol. Yeah, I'm more in the business of writing and plotting, than programming. Sorry, Austin.

Asking Steven wouldn't be such a bad idea...He's good with computers and he's not half bad at drawing, either. He could take the role of programmer and artist if we asked nicely enough, I'm sure.

*sigh*
I'm still curious as to what happens with narrator.
And with your whole scripting process already underway, what do you want me/Adam to do?

Ah...I never actually gave much thought to the whole additional writer thing. I got a bit carried away, I suppose. What I would need you guys for the most is for scripting out sidequests, I suppose, since I already have the main story fleshed out.
Awesome Land, even though both 1 and 2 were over 550 posts, doesn't look like it's going to take up a long amount of time, so the more sidequests the better. As you and Adam are controllers of the controllers of time and darkness respectively and have added a bit of stuff to the Continuum, I'm sure you both could write some sidequests as "filler" easily.
I'll also need you both to review any dialogue I add for your characters to make sure they fit the character.

Okay then. Filler hmm? I suppose I have a small idea. It wont take up much in the way of filler, but it's something.

I'd have to think about it, but I'm sure a filler sidequest wouldn't be too hard.

Filler idea: Every so often when Johnny and whoever are traveling, they get ambushed by say, a monster or bandit or something. When he defeats each one, they drop a small icon, which is basically a peice of a map. When he has all the peices it leads to Zais castle of darkness, initiating that mini dungeon thing u were talking about.

My question is "Why did you choose 'The Keeper of Time' for the title of this Awesome Land? Since its the first one, I would not give it a subtitle, and just waited for the sequel: Awesome Land!: The Greatest Journey Ever Told, since its about Omega world.

No particular reason for the subtitle. I just like them. And I needed a way to distinguish it from the story when talking about it. I'd much prefer to say "Keeper of Time" than "Awesome Land!: The Game" when using it in conversation. BUT WHATEVER. I could remove it if it is so desired. Speaking of nothing related to this conversation...
I NEED ARTISTS. I could at least start something with some sprite/full art designers.
