None in his immediate family demonstrated any magical abilities until Tris, his came to life unexpectedly. He was home with his girlfriend, Rossa Uccello, when his Ice Magic came to life, and killed her, impaling her with an icicle. His powers spread and consumed the entire house, his family with it. Name: Dolan Ranjit

Appearance: Tall, handsome, black hair, blue eyes. Normally dressed in a suit.
Bio: Dolan is the head master of the Mundas Veritas Academy. He finds children with magical abilities and brings them to his school. Since he works in the human world, his students usually come from a background of almost no magic or they had powers but tried to hide them. His two daughters attend the academy as well. Dolan mainly took the job as head master to get closer to mortals. He's very interested in them and performs studies on them. Because of this, he is very social and charming. His interactions with mortals usually don't go very far, except for one, whose whereabouts he is unaware of.
Other: Dolan is a powerful seer. He's one of the most powerful in Mundas Magica. He can see the past present and future very easily and choose what exactly he wants to see the future of. He can call upon it when he pleases and no longer receives random trances. He usually uses it only when neccessary, preffering not to waste magical energy. He of course knows other magic, but seeing is his strongest.

Name: Illya

race: Hellan
appearance: tall, with blond hair. Wears a white cloak and leather armor.
bio: Illya and her brother Ikaros were born on the eastern fringe of the Confederation, near the borders of Old Ossen. When they were young, the twins' parents were killed by raiders from Megolin. Not much is known about the incident which followed the death of the the twins parents, only that when soldiers finally arrived at the town, they found nothing but a charred deathscape, with only Ikaros and Illya left alive in the center of town.
Illya is a rather mischievous person, when open to others, and often rather cynical. Unlike most Spellblades, Illya and her brother are masters of archery.

Name: Nicholas J. Faulkner Age: 29 Appearance: THE COOLEST ALMOST 30 YEAR OLD YOU'VE EVER SEEN. Neck length brown hair, AWESOME COLORED EYES, fairly muscly, A MAN TO DIE FOR, IN OTHER WORDS. While off the job, he wears standard civilian clothes, but he's well known for his trademark racing uniform, which looks something like  Description: HE'S NICK FAULKNER, DAMN IT. HE NEEDS NO DESCRIBING. But, if you insist, he's really awesome. He loves racing. He loves fighting and answering questions with fists rather than words. Often comes off as a "male-chauvinist", but only in the eyes of all the men he thrashes to get the girl. The ladies think he's awesome. And he's rich, because he's a NASCAR racer. Makes a lot of money. Which helps with the ladies. Yea. History: In North Carolina, born and raised. On the racetrack is where he spent most of his days. Sellin' some hot dogs for minimum wage, till all of a sudden he found out he was a mage. When a couple of guys who were up in the crowd, started makin' trouble being really loud. He got in one little fight and he punched their faces, and was rewarded with a job drivin' down at the races. He built a nice car and went really fast, and everyone realized "THIS DUDE KICKS ASS". He won all the races and got real rich, AND THIS IS WHERE OUR REAL STORY BEGINS, BITCH. So, after landing a job as a race car driver and being the best there ever was while simultaneously kicking the ass of anyone who doubted him (with his magical fire and wind powers), he decided he needed to be even more notable. He made a nice racing uniform and helmet to boost his fame levels to get more girls and money. All his fans call him "CAPTAIN FALCON" after the Peregrine Falcon, the fastest animal on the planet. Magical Powahs: Fire/Wind magic, although he mainly uses it to walk/run faster and beat people up with FLAMING FISTS OF FURY. |

Bio: Asher is a natural-born mage, third generation Mundas Magica immigrant. His mother comes from a line of illusionists, and his father an Elementalist. His family lives in Maine, but he goes to school in Boston with Krysta and Stella. His magic is unique, or at least creative, in that he creates illusions of himself and "fills" them with Elemental magic, creating "clones". He uses this to create the illusion of being multiple places at once. He works in Mr. Jones' Jewelry. As a one-man staff.
Name: Theodore Jones
Age: 57
Description: A somewhat squat individual with balding gray hair. He needs reading glasses, but is usually seen with his jewelers monocle.
Bio: Jones is an Earth Mage specializing in precious gems. His power is very weak, only useful in identifying impurities and lattice structure of crystals. His father could grow crystals with magic, but Theodore never had that ability, since his mother was a Veritan. He runs a local jewelers in Boston, where Asher is employed. Despite his lack of magical abilities, he maintains a private library of magical tomes that have wandered away from Mundas Magica. His most prized possession is a fragment of the Rock of Souls.

Description: She's a tall and slender girl with blue eyes and red hair. She usually dresses with the fashions she sees around the city.
Bio: Kristina is the daughter of Dolan Ranjit, headmaster of the Academy of Mundus Veritas. She was born in Mundus Veritas, but both of her parents originated from Mundus Magica. Since she's rarely been to the magical world, she's more familiar with the human world and usually prefers it. She has one older sister, who's married. Kristina inherited a version of her father's powers. Though she sees them in the form of images and usually draws them. She practices her powers with her father often.

Description: Tall, commanding person with hard, brown eyes. He maintains a grayed goatee and short, faded blond hair; strands of gray hair are interwoven, but he has made no attempt to dye his hair. His favorite article of clothing is his royal purple cape that displays the Ghiaccio family crest, a shield displaying a snowflake with a fire burning at its center, though he seldom wears it, as doing so would attract much undue attention in Mundas Veritas
Bio: Mario is a member of the power Ghiaccio family, a powerful clan of mages that pervades Mundas Veritas. Many no longer carry the name Ghiaccio, having intermarried with other families or into common folk. Mario, specifically, is descended from the Fuoco family, his grandmother having married into the Ghiaccio family. Mario doesn't think much of his younger brother, Bruno as he doesn't possess any of the magic abilities the rest of the family did. Shunned by his family, Bruno married Gabriella, a common folk, seemingly sealing the Ghiaccio family's fate, until Tristezza was born. Mario isn't a cruel individual, but he knows what he wants. He doesn't like involving others in family affairs, but if they get caught up, too bad. While he doesn't dislike common folk, he dislikes when Mages marry them, as it dilutes the blood; although this is likely unfounded as sometimes nonmagical children are born to magical families. Mario is a good friend of Dolan Ranjit, the Headmaster of the New York Magic Academy.

He met his end during the Mage Wars, killed by the mysterious and heroic Matrys Sorian (so the legend goes). At the end of his life he had fallen into madness, lured to dark arts of necromancy, and slaughtering his entire House and surrounding towns. Adden and Vi'ir played with Volitar before the war that destroyed Ossen. He was eight the last time he was either. His family escaped the destruction relatively unscathed by getting out early and taking refuge on Altinor. They recently moved back into their old town and have been helping rebuild it. When Izaak was old enough to learn from her, she taught him the stage illusions that she had learned. However, one day, he practiced his illusions and found that they had become real. He had made his sister invisible instead of her just finding her way into the closet. He pulled a rabbit out of a completely empty hat (his sister saw that it was empty beforehand). He then decided to pursue his abilities by reading up on the spellcasters known as illusionists and mesmers. He was eventually able to create illusions that would aid him against his enemies. Through his studies, he also found some incantations for elemental spells that would prove useful when his illusions were of no help. |
