I'm trying to recruit here, but you have to help me. Most people LOOKING to join a site like this want active sites. We only fit that description occasionally - during school, mostly. Sicne only a handful of you even care, here's my plea:

Adam, Nicole, Ashley.

You three are the only "active posters" besides myself here that I even consider "Active". Right now, it doesn't appear that way, but that will change after Band Camp. I want new members, always have. Not a lot, but certainly more than 4.

So, all of this depends on you (and anyone else that cares about this site). If you want to meet new people who like to do this sort of shit, that you need to post. I said this before, but one story post a day from each of you is enough. I remember being a Junior and a Senior in the band. There's always time for a quick look and post. Especially when all of you have laptops or personal computers.

So...I don't know. If you don't care, I'll make another place where people do care. But i like this place. I like the name. I like you. And I want this to be great.

I want this, so...do YOU want this? And by THIS I mean PEOPLE!

Hilarious comments aside, I believe part of the problem stems from the fact that YourStory was never intended to be a roleplaying haven so much as a dedicated offshoot of EHS Smash. Because of this, very few actually care about its fate.

While I was in the shower a few minutes ago, I got to thinking, and I find it slightly ironic that the site's activity would slow down about now, because almost exactly two years ago (8/8/2008) is when I first started Awesome Land...

Seems like only yesterday...in a 2 year sort of way.
