We would get on, but no one has any time right now. Everyone usually has a lot of work.

It's more time consuming. We've got practice on Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri (when we have no game), and Sat soon.

All the leadership and staff are basically Mr. Foxworth's drones. Except section leaders...we've somehow escaped.

After you guys left, he changed a bit. Instead of letting the leadership take part or lead the band, Mr. Foxworth changed it more towards his way, which is upsetting a lot of us. It's better than Mote, but I feel like he's sucking the fun out of a lot of stuff....like games. They're still fun, but we're supposed to be more professional, so we're not really allowed to be very sociable anymore, and we don't play as much. We do have a lot of freshmen who can't play things, but the new songs we have are so boring. We have one called Dies Irae that would prabably sound cool with an opera or something, but it's really boring at a football game. And when we have discussions, he twists around our words a lot. We suggested not letting kids who haven't passed off march, and he freaked out on us and turned it around to make it seem like we were torturing them. Yes, we do want a little punishment, but we're not killing anyone. And there's no more "wooing" allowed at practice. Everyone is silent and dead. There's no enthusiasm.
The stuff he does isn't terrible, but it's not good either. There's a lot of other stuff, but it's a lot to explain.

He also doesn't listen. Brianna and Marleigh yell at us for not standing in attention for ten minutes even though they're only in attention for a minute, fall out for a long time, then suddenly remember they're supposed to be in attention and yell at us for not following their example. When freshmen see the drum majors are relaxed, they get out of attention. Justin watched this and told Mr. Foxworth about it. Foxworth called Justin a liar. He figured this, so he had also gotten three other staff members to watch them and confirm them. He still didn't listen. And the STILL do it. So Jenny and I figured if the drum major's fall out, we'll tell our sections to go into modified. If the drum majors say anything, we'll say we were following their example because they don't come off the podium and help the band. They mostly stay up there.
