What do my fellow YourStorians plan to do in the near to far future upon college (IF THEY DON'T GET (another person) PREGNANT AND DROP OUT AND RUIN THEIR LIVES)? Thus far, my plan is to become a patent lawyer (i.e. a lawyer who specializes in filing and prosecuting patents and helping corporations in technology cases) after undergraduate and law school. Then I'll use my solid law foundation and vast ill gotten wealth to run for state senate, then U.S Senate or governor.

My plans are to GET PREGNANT AND DROP OUT become a middle grades teach and probably also get published.

Teach kids. Probably High School History.
He'll, I'll probably be a counselor too.
Maybe I'll write shit too.

Possibly join Army after college. if not, go straight through police academy into the force. From there, Police Detective. Possibly a higher up federal job.

I can easily see Adam as the BAD COP and/or some sort of CIA assassin. I can also see Tyler teaching history, filling the children's minds with crazy what if scenarios and actually making them think. BUT I DON'T FOR A SECOND EVEN WANT TO IMAGINE A COMMUNIST TEACHIN MAH BABIEZ HISTORY. Spend the entire first semester on Russia and then the entire second semester on more Russia.

More like teaching kids that since the dawn of time, there has always been the oppressed and the oppressor, and that if we work hard enough, our technology will advance to the point that we can become a post-need society and thus be functionally anarcho-communist.

I have many plans and back up plans. My main point is to be a Comic Artist or Graphic Designer, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a job after college for that (though it's starting to sound possible now). So my other plan is to be an Art Teacher and maybe teach another subject like Math. If that doesn't work out, I might go into Criminal Investigations or Forensics.

Well of course your point is true to some extent...That doesn't mean the children have to know this. They need to know. Otherwise, they'll have no deep seated hatred against the system that'll encourage them to hasten the post-scarcity world scenario. |
