If you ended up liking this idea, we probably wouldn't do it until the summer because I'm busy and all...
Anywho
I'm not sure exactly where this idea came from, but it goes something like this.
What would the stories have been like if the hero's didn't win? What if Rapunzel was never released from her tower, and the witch remained with power? What if Snow White was never kissed, and the Evil Queen ruled the kingdom? What if the prince had chosen a step sister instead of Cinderella, and the wicked Stepmother took over the kingdom? What if Sleeping Beauty was never found, and her kingdom remained covered in thorns? What if the Beast had remained a heartless Beast?
The answer is simple. There would be a war. A war where each side had evil intentions to steal more land for their kingdom, but the people would follow them, whether they were forced to or not. All the kingdoms would be fighting blindly under the rule of their evil queens, masters, or witches.
But how would we solve this problem? Someone would have to set things right. It may not be possible, but they'd have to try.
This would be a story filled with allusions to fairy tales, even ones I didn't mention. You could meet the wolf that ate Little Red, or you could push Humpty Dumpty over the wall. You might even have to answer a riddle or two from Rumpelstiltskin. You could be a fairy tale character, or you could be your own.
But in conclusion, I think this might be fun. If you want to try it anyways.
