" " Stella dropped her arms theatrically. "WHAT? You had a dance party without me? I bet it was Creepy Guy's fault." She piouretted off her UFO (briefly hovering in the air) and landed right in front of Zento. "You can't have Other Guy, Creepy Guy. He's my friend. Only I get to have dance parties and foam bats and deposed dictators shoved into compartments with Cale." She did her best to look menacing, but poked at his ears with her foam bat. Like, slowly. Uncomfortably slowly.

Cale was taken by surprise. "Wait, you actually know my name? I'm... honored." Taking note of her harassment of Zento, he patted her on the head and said, "Don't worry about him. He's my cousin, Zento Calfrun. He's helped us fight and has been following me around and... by the way, why have you been following me around?"
Zento shrugged. "Someone asked me to keep an eye on you. I'm not allowed to say who or why though, so don't bother asking."
"Ooookaaay... And where's my father?"
"He went home, like I said the last time you asked me that. I explained the situation to him, and he understood that he had to leave without you so that you could go on this little adventure of yours."
Cale quietly thought about this for a moment. So his father had been home the whole time, and hadn't bothered letting him know that he was safe? What was it that he wasn't being told here? "One more thing. That green stuff you gave me before. What was that?"
"Dew, from the summit of Mount Ausum. I'm not sure why or how it was in powdered form, but it was given to me to give to you. Here's some more, by the way." Zento tossed Cale a small bag, which was full of the powdered dew.
Cale shoved it in a pocket and sighed. "I guess that's all the information I'm going to get out of you for now." He turned back to Stella. "So what now, fearless leader?"

Captain continued making her rounds inspecting the ship and whatnot until one of the crewmen approached her.
"Um...excuse me....m'am-" She whirled around and slapped him.
"My name isn't m'am! I am Captain Daneille and you will refer to me as such!" The poor crewman stood there in shock rubbing his aching cheek.
"What's you name!" Captain Danielle continued
"I'm..um David, Captain.."
"Hmm... David... You know you look more like a Peter. Yeah, Peter is a good name for you. You'll be my first mate! Now follow me Peter we have a lot of work to do. What's the name of the this ship anyway?"
David/Peter was much to stunned to bother arguing and followed Captain Danielle.
"Albatross is the ship's name m-Captain Danielle."
"Albatross? That's no name for the ship! First order of business: rename the ship. Now what's a proper name? Hm... I've got it! It's new name is the Black Swan! Yeah... and I'll have a swan painted on the side so everyone knows who's ship this is." She turned to face Peter. "Gather up some of the crew and have the new name repainted on the side of the ship by tonight. We launch tonight!"
She then walked off leaving David/Peter still rubbing the side of his face, completely forgetting why he had approached her in the first place. Slowly he turned and went about doing her bidding.

"Calfrun...Cale Efrun..." Stella clutched at her head. "Whoever named you two in your family is really lazy," she observed. But she recovered in time to see the exchange of powdered dew. "Hey! Don't do drugs, Other Guy! And you, Zenot Creepofrun, don't be handing out drugs to weak-willed people like Other Guy!" She smacked him with a fish. A coelecanth, actually. "Got it?"
Without waiting for a response from either of them, she skipped away. "Now! We take you and Shiny2 go find Pretty Lady so we can deliver the Items of Plotitude so that we can go zoom! Woosh! Bsssssh! Krakow! through Far Out and make that Black Nova stop being racist and just go back to being a regular nova we can throw at the other people we don't like."
She pulled her leg back and energy began to collect around it. "Wormhole...KICK!" She fizz-kicked the air so hard that it broke and a portal (or something) appeared. The air around it looked like shattered glass. "Now we can go find Pretty Lady and Blanche! Yay!"

Cale shrugged and walked through the portal. Zento walked up to it, then turned to Stella. "I do as I please, you psychotic garden gnome." He proceeded after his cousin.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"HAHAHAHA" Gabe laughed and clapped his hands, having been near enough to witness the whole conversation. "I take back what I said, this new captain is great! Though I have to say, he looks more like a Simon to me."
Richard shook his head. "No, Captain Danielle's definitely right. He's gotta be a Peter."
Albert facepalmed. "Are you two serious?"
"When am I ever not?" Richard replied. Albert glared at him, but the younger man just had on the same tired, disinterested-looking expression he always wore.
As David/Peter/Simon walked by, Albert called out to him, "I'm really sorry about all this, David." Then, back to his friends, "I guess we should get to painting if we're going to be leaving tonight."
"Mmk," was Richard's noncommittal answer. "By the way, where are we goin'?"
Gabe replied, "We're going to space, Rick."
"Oh... right."
Albert sighed and went to find some painting supplies.

Captain Danielle observed the repainting of the ship with great satisfaction. She had the entire ship repainted a neon yellow with hot pink polka dots. The name of the ship "Black Swan" was painted where the old name had been and next to it was a crudely painted swan painted specifically by David/Peter. Sadly, the painting of the swan had taken up most of the time since Captain Danielle had shouted orders continuously at Peter the entire time. This resulting in a lot of mistakes and Peter having to repaint parts of the swan, but the job was just about done.
"Alright men!" Captain Danielle shouted to the crew, "I am proud to announce now that the ship has been redecorated we can prepare for take off. Clean up the paint supplies and take you positions. We embarking as soon as possible!" With a smile she turned to leave calling Peter to scramble after her.

"Boy, oh boy. Being a judge is nowhere near as exciting as I thought it would be," Leon muttered, removing his judge's robes to reveal his nicer looking, gold trimmed imperial robes. "Now I remember why I got rid of that whole 'fair trial' thing back when I was Emperor. Ah, well. Time to find something else to do." Leon opened up a vortex beside him and tossed his gavel inside, closing the rift in space afterward. "First, I'd better go tell Sarah that she owes 500,000 fewer Verabucks." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Artemis nodded. "May your funeral planning proceed smoothly, Sarah. I would ask you to contact me once you've written your speech, but I believe I can trust you to write a compelling eulogy. I estimate an 87% chance, at least." She paused. "There is a slight distortion in the dimension...Leon's coming."
"Wow, you really are good!" Sure enough, everyone's favorite Temperor was now standing before everyone's favorite Really Cool Princess and everyone's favorite Immortal of Space. "Hope the community service is going well. I just came to let you both know that, because Mr. Cale Efrun has stood trial, the sum that our princess here owes has been reduced by 500 grand." Leon turned to Sarah, smiling a semi-genuine smile. "That means, you owe Artemis 4.5 million more. Aren't you happy, Sarah?"
Artemis, not particularly concerned with financial matters at the moment, said to Sarah, "Please remember to let me know when you next encounter Knox."

The full impact of the aftermath of the Funky Land battle had yet to hit Knox, but one thing was becoming increasingly evident: Ollie was going to be his responsibility. And that terrified him. Sure, he'd been in charge of the Hearts, but Jace, Sherri, and Crass hadn't require much oversight (and they didn't listen to him anyway). But they didn't possess one of the seven Universal Forces (well, kinda).
"Oh, Seraphina," he muttered.
"Hm?" Mara Lee looked at him curiously.
"Uh, nothing. Hey, keep Cassandra and Ollie here, ok?" Whatever look he gave her made her eyes open wide.
"O...okay?"
"I'll be right back."
-
Knox manifested in the Really Cool Palace. "Sarah! I need to speak...with...you...?"
His eyes fell upon the fabulously dressed lady reclining across two chairs in the kitchen, her fur coat draped over the back of one, and an oversized purse over the other. Her heels had been kicked aside, so she was barefoot. Two harsh hazel eyes peered at him over the ruby red rims of her glasses.
"Uh...hello?"
"Well well well," she said with a thick Southern(?) accent. "What have we here?"
"I'm, uh, Knox. Ma'am." He suddenly wondered why he even bothered to add that. "Who are you? And why are - "
"Why am I sprawled across the Royal Palace like I own the place?" she finished. He nodded. "Well, let's start with who I am and see if that clears things up. My name is Julia. Julia Wankershim. But I'd prefer Ms. Julia." She waited. "I suppose that didn't help one bit. Francine is my sister."
Knix furrowed his brow. "Francine? As in...?"
"The queen, yes. Which would make me...?" She waited, allowing him to come to the proper conclusion.
"Sarah's aunt."
"That's right." She folded her glasses and set them down pointedly. "Now, how about we get to who you are and why you have so rudely barged in here."
Knox blinked a few times. "Ah, uh, well, see I was looking for Sarah and then I teleported - "
"I am aware of your teleportation, young man. I do have eyes. And let me tell you," she leaned in "it does not impress me. I have spent many years traveling and I have sampled the..." he felt her eyes walk him up and down "fine cuisine of the universe. Teleportation is the least impressive thing I've seen this week. But perhaps you can show me something that will impress me, hm?"
Suddenly he was very uncomfortable. "Do you know where Sarah is?"
"My, she is a lucky one, to have such a handsome man calling on her." She sighed. "I'm afraid not, young man. I've only just arrived myself. The Thundercougarfalconbirds have informed me that Sarah was last seen entertaining quite the curious cast of characters." She held out her hand and a saucer and teacup appeared. "Let me see...there was a great man in a suit of heavy armor. Dreadful fellow, they said. Destroyed much of the pantry and impregnated one of the maids. No, I take that back. There was another armored man, but the second was much more amiable. I believe there was also a young girl with pink hair - a ninja of some sort - who went rifling through the Princess's things." She shuddered and sipped her tea. "And something about a skeleton man, a professor by his mannerisms. Never did like intellectuals, all poof and no character. Hm well, there was also a most regal looking woman. What was her name, now...?"
"Aurora?"
"Yes! That's the one. Aurora."
"Oh no." Knox groaned. Sarah had gotten drawn into the madness of Awesome Land. Again. "Was there another ninja?"
"Hm? Ah. Perhaps. The Head Ninja here says it was her son. Azzi." She raised her teacup again, but stopped. "Oh, and there was this other fellow who was just sort of...there."
Knox groaned loudly, which elicited a sharp look from Julia. "Did she leave with them?"
"Yes, but she apparently came back shortly thereafter - and then promptly left again with another young lady, saying something about a trial." She leaned in again. "A murder trial."
"Didn't say where they went?"
"No, sir. They teleported out in a manner of sorts as well."
"Great. Now I have to play detective. If you would just remain where you are, Ms. Julia, I'm going to create a localized area of timespace that will - "
"Oh [/i]please[/i] honey, don't bore me with the details. Just do what you're going to do and maybe I'll be impressed." She sipped her tea perfunctorily.
Knox frowned. Under the watchful gaze of Ms. Julia, Knox reversed time in a localized area, i.e. the foyer. It reversed enough to show Sarah leave the palace with a figure Knox immediately recognized as Artemis, the new Space Immortal, although they'd never met before.
"Hm. Must be serious." He let the time bubble dissipate. "Would you like to join me, Ms. Julia?"
"Oh, heavens no! I've been traveling nonstop for several years. I think it's time I earned a rest." She grinned predatorially. "But come on back when you're through with her, young man. Perhaps we can...chat some more."
Very uncomfortable now, he teleported away, leaving a smiling Julia chuckling into her tea.
"My, but I do love to unsettle the menfolk."
-
Knox reappeared right in front of Sarah and Artemis. "Oh. There you are," Sarah deadpanned. "Artemis is looking for you."
"And you're aunt is...wait, no I'm looking for you!"
"Well. I'm not going anywhere just yet. Why don't you and Artemis talk?"
Knox frowned. "Ok. Fine. Hello, Artemis. I don't believe we've met." He extended his hand.

"That happened much more quickly than I anticipated." Artemis delicately grabbed Knox's hand and shook it. "Good evening, Knox. I am Artemis, as has already been said. The current Immortal of Space. And you are the current Immortal of Time. It is a pleasure - and a necessity - to meet you."
Leon casually walked over to the two of them and grabbed their free hands, shaking them vigorously. "And I'm Leon, the current temporary reigning monarch of Awesome Land. I'm in the company of some pretty powerful people!"
Artemis continued. "I apologize if I am being too forward, but there are some important things I need to discuss with you. If you are not busy, of course."

Knox looked at Sarah, who shrugged. "It's ok. This is important Immortal business. We'll talk later."
"You sure?"
"Mhm. Just send me home so I can talk with Aunt Julia." He hesitated. "Is something wrong?"
"Ah...no." He enveloped her in a portal and sent her home, leaving him with Artemis and Leon. "If this is important...why don't you come with me, Artemis? I'm actually doing some other Immortal business right now. We can take care of it all at once."

Artemis nodded. "Very well. I shall accompany you, Knox."
"Oh, I see how it is." Leon frowned at the two Immortals and crossed his arms. "You guys are just going to leave little ol' Leon high and dry here because you're on important Immortal business." The last few words came out with only the slightest hint of venom. "Spiteful Leon would have you both convicted of some crime he just made up on the fly." He sighed. "But generous, benevolent Leon has better, more important things to do. Like...um..." He rubbed his head sheepishly, unable to find something that could compare to 'Immortal business', whatever that meant. "While you're off doing your Immortal stuff, I will be the kind, caring big brother I was born to be and spy on my sister. Farewell, folks!" Leon gave the two a quick wave before warping himself back up to the observatory of the Second Imperial Tower. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hmph. Let me go check the telescope...Aurora should probably be in Special Land right now. Seeing how she's handling herself there will be worth a bucket of laughs." Leon walked over to the telescope labeled 'Special Land' and pressed his eyes against the glass. "Let's see...There's Aurora...and her crew...and they're in a tunnel of ice? And it looks like they're kind of worried, too. Hmm..." Leon walked away from the telescope and dusted off his robes. "Well, since the boredom is going to be setting in any moment now, I may as well stave it off for a bit longer and see what's going on down there." Leon snapped his fingers and vanished...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...and reappeared right in between Aurora and Blanche.
"Hello there, Little Sis!" Leon opened his arms wide and gave Aurora a death grip of a hug. After releasing her, he added, "And this must be your first mate. Doesn't she look absolutely pleasant, wearing that patented Kid Leon bra of mine?" He hugged Blanche as well. "How are you all doing this fine evening?"

"So, what is it you wanted to speak with me about?" Knox asked of Artemis while opening a portal. He made a gesture as if to say 'Ladies first'.
-----
"You?" Blanche seethed with something like rage. "You're there reason I'm dressed like this?!" Blanche produced a pair of kunai from...somewhere. Dark Energy radiated off of them. "If you can help us out of this, I'll promise to kill you as quickly as painlessly as I feel like."

"A council of Immortals," Artemis said simply, stepping into the portal. "As you are well aware, we have all been blessed with immense power. Power that far exceeds that of even the most accomplished normal person. Power that could decide the fate of an entire country, planet or dimension. If I am not mistaken, between the elemental Immortals and the rest of us, there are over a dozen dangerously powered individuals roaming around. Just as national leaders often meet together to discuss diplomatic issues, I believe it would be proper for the Immortals to gather together for similar discussion. I do not wish to overload you with details while we are in mid-transit, so we may discuss this in detail after we complete your mission, if you like." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Now, is that any way to talk to your personal fashion designer?" Leon snapped his fingers, banishing Blanche's kunai to the Shadow Realm. "I know people who would kill because they want to wear Veralice designer clothing, not because they were forced to." He sighed. "Ah, but that's neither here nor there. I'll just warn you here and now: Don't go threatening the Emperor of Awesome Land like that. He doesn't appreciate it. Now, mind telling me what's going on here? I don't see a Scroll of Science in any of your hands."
Aurora lifted a finger as if to speak, but words failed her. The fact that she had crashed, fallen into the depths, nearly died, was failing in her mission and now was face-to-face with the person responsible (her brother, no less) was nearly too much for her mind to bear.

Knox shut the portal behind him. "A council of Immortals..." Knox mulled it over. "That's actually a good idea. Until now, I've met more Immortals trying to kill me than anything." Zais. Karzem. "Well, half and half." The Music Underground was in a frenzy - the good kind. Music blared as various groups competed to drown out the others. "In any case, I'm in favor of it. Any my mission is almost done, but really it's just beginning for reasons I'll make clear in a moment."
He turned to Mara Lee. "Where's Ollie?"
She pointed. Ollie was in the middle of a mosh.
"Cassandra?"
She pointed again. Cassandra was nursing a drink at the (apparently) open bar. "Not her first," she added.
Knox sighed. "Ok. See her?" He pointed to Cassandra. "She's currently holding Light. As in, Immortal of Light. However, she" he indicated Ollie "is the ACTUAL next Immortal of Light. And it's a long story but the current - previous? - Immortal, Theska helped me out with my powers when the Time Keeper...Stansilaus...was killed by Karzem." Just thinking about it made him choke on his word. "Anyway, he entrusted us to find the next Light Immortal and...died. The Light chose Cassandra as it's temporary host until we found Ollie, but we had to help her out before she would agree to help us help her become the Immortal. And I'm not just going to abandon her once she gets the Immortal status. I needed help when I started out and well...you know how the succession thing works. She's still going to have a part of Theska with her, so it's like I'm helping him out, too."
He grimaced and looked at her seriously. "Do you understand what I'm getting at? I've never been responsible for another person on this level. I was going to talk to Sarah, but...I don't know what to do, Artemis."
-----
Blanche produced another pair of kunai, but held her temper. "Fine. We crashed the boat. Ended up here. Some guard guy had the scroll and used to nullify the antiphysics down here. We're only alive because a plot device called Llenchi happened to fly through here and create an ice tunnel."
She frowned. That sounded insane.

As fascinating as the med bay was, Gree’s boredom eventually won out against his exhaustion. He really needed to figure out where he was, and how to get back to his squad. And Awesome Land too, he supposed. Not that he actually cared a great deal about Awesome land. In fact, now that he thought about it, he didn’t really like anyone he’d met in Awesome Land.
Seriously, screw those guys.
That settled, he stood and approached Doctor Olsin. The doctor had been going over some information scrolling down her console. He looked up as he approached and smiled. “Mr. Gree, all rested up now?”
Gree nodded. “I am.” Investigate - ( ) - I should go.
“I’d like to know a little bit more about where I am. I’m a little…disoriented.” Gree said, blinking rapidly. He could have sworn he saw something in front of him as soon as he went to try and say something…
“Of course. Now that you’re up and about, I can let the captain see you. What would you like to know in the meantime?”
Dr. Olsin The Ariadne \ / The Space Alliance - ( ) - return / \ Awesome Land Shadows
“You mentioned something about a Space Alliance? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that.” Gree said. Okay he definitely saw something there that time. He managed to not let his worry show on his face. Olsin nodded slowly, studying him.
“The Space Alliance is the military power of human controlled space.” She explained. “We’re still new to the galactic community, so I suppose it’s not too surprising that some people don’t know much about us yet. Though I have to say, you don’t look like any race I’ve ever seen on the Citadel.”
The Citadel? \ Investigate - ( ) - I should go. “What’s the Citadel?” he asked, now mildly concerned. ’It’s like there’s some sort of dialogue wheel narrating me” He thought. Olsin gave him a confused look.
“The Citadel. Seat of galactic power for the Council. If you don’t know about them….” She trailed off for a moment, now really studying Gree. “Are you some new kind of alien?”
“Depends, ever heard of a Shadow?” he returned her question.
“I can’t say that I have. At least, not in the context that I think you’re using.”
Well that was just dandy. He didn’t bother asking if Olsin knew what Awesome Land was. He was now pretty sure he was in some sort of alternate dimension or something like that. He COULD just wait around for Zais to stumble across this place and find him. More realistically, his master had probably forgotten that he existed. Gree suppressed a sigh. Sometimes his job sucked.
The door to the medbay hissed open and another figure stepped in. He was an older-looking man, obviously military by the way he carried himself and the uniform he wore.
“Olsin, I see our mysterious guest has woken up.” He said coolly, locking eyes with Gree. Gree felt a little smaller under his gaze. This must be the captain.
“Yes sir.” Olsin confirmed.
“I’m Captain Sanderson, commanding officer of the SAV Ariadne.” The captain introduced himself. Gree hesitated before answering. There was a very real possibility that he would be stuck here for a while. He was just a soldier, with no talent for magic like Sindri, so returning to Awesome Land by himself was very unlikely. He needed to establish himself here.
“Sir.” He said. “I’m…” Corporal Gree / ( ) \ Commander Gree
“Commander Gree.” He lied. Hey, he deserved some sort of compensation for all this bullshit. A nice promotion didn’t seem like too much to ask.

The slapdash job of a spaceship, Monstrosity sputtered lazily though Far Out. Captain Uggo absently manned the helm, arms folded behind him. The Monstrosity's AI, the Sentient Space Ship Guidance Program or SSSGP (Uggo called it Sally; acronyms don't always work out) did most of the work.
Madame Butterface lounged somewhere belowdecks.
"Ugggggoooooo!" she hollered up with a voice to crack mirrors. "I'm booooooooored."
"Yes, love," he muttered by way of reply.
"Find us something to dooooo!"
"Yes, love." It had been a while since they had done anything resembling piratical behavior, but hey - space was big, man. But he was itching to do something besides stand at the helm. Since he didn't need to, he mostly remained in the cabin to stay away from Butterface for as long as possible. "Sally, where are we?"
The AI brought up a holographic star chart with the ship's location indicated with a blinking red dot.
"That...doesn't help me a bit." He never learned to read star charts because the ship could fly itself! "Just...take us to the nearest port." As he Monstrosity nearest the spaceport, he spied a ship as it as leaving: the words "Black Swan" had been hastily painted over "Albatross" underneath.
"That doesn't seem like too hard a job. Fire a warning shot!"
A starboard cannon fired a lone plasma shot at the Black Swan. He jumped on the communicator that somehow allowed him to speak across space and to the other ship. "Attention crew of the Black Swan. Surrender your cargo and your crew gets to live. And some ship parts; we're running a little low over here."

"You mentioned that when you first started out as an Immortal, you were helped by Theska. Tell me all the ways in which he helped you." While waiting for an answer, Artemis' eyes glowed a bright white for a split second. She flexed her hands outward and muttered "Technique of the sixth Immortal of Space, Zaria the Clairvoyant: Spatial Barrier. Functions by manipulating the space around the caster in a manner that prevents external matter or energy from passing through that space. The types of matter and energy affected depend on the intentions of the caster. Exclude: Sound." Just like that, Knox and Artemis were surrounded by a bubble of space from which they could see their surroundings but only hear each other.
"The music was getting too loud for a comfortable discussion," she explained.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Nullified antiphysics? Why, that's absolutely ridiculous!" Leon stared at Blanche incredulously. Who ever heard of someone violating the laws of the Awesome Land universe? "Although I guess that might explain everything...Hmm. Well, if you are dealing with a person who possesses that kind of power, I know just who to call!"
And lo, did Leon take from his pocket his cell phone-like device, which was just magical enough to have perfect reception from the bottle of the ocean. After a few button presses and ringing sounds, a conversation ensued.
"Yo, Zayden. Haven't chatted with you in ages! What's up?" Leon said.
"I just saw you in the courtroom, Leon. What do you want?"
"Quick and to the point as always! You think you can come down to Special Land for a bit? My sister and her friends ran into some trouble with a guy who can get rid of antiphysics or something. I'm not too clear on the details, but apparently the guy was enough to set back their mission."
"Someone who can nullify antiphysics? Really?" Although it couldn't be seen (Leon's cell phone-like device didn't have a video chat feature), it was apparent that Zayden was frowning, his eyebrow raised in confusion.
"I know, right? Doesn't make any sense, does it?"
Zayden sighed. "I'll be right over, I guess..."
And he was. A bolt of lightning struck the inside of the ice tunnel (leaving it in perfect condition while also managing not to shock anyone) and the Lord of Illusion appeared before the party in all his handsome glory, still wearing his lawyer suit. The first thing he noticed, of course, was Blanche.
"I get the strangest feeling that you're not wearing that of your own accord," he said, his eyes drifting toward the Kid Leon 'chest armor' Blanche was wearing.
"I was trying my hand at fashion design and she offered to model for me," Leon lied.
"Of course she did." Zayden shook his head and sighed. "Since it seems like you all are pressed for time and I've got somewhere to be-"
"You mean you've got obligations besides fulfilling my requests?"
"-I'll make this brief. I want everyone except Mr. Veralice here to hold join hands in a circle." Zayden extended both of his own hands. Aurora clasped the one closest to her.
"Like I wanted to hold your hand anyway." Leon stepped away from the circle to watch what his 'old friend' was about to do.

Upon, hearing the transmission from the other ship Captain Danielle immediately responded,
"Hell fizzing no!! We will never surrender!! DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHO I AM!!!!"
In her fury and indignation, Captain Danielle immediately called David/Peter to her side and ordered him to ready the crew and attack the approaching ship all the while mumbling obscenities.
The crew scrambled to the their positions and fired their cannons(yes old-fashioned cannons, the kind the fired actually cannonballs, but you know way more powerful cuz it's space) directly at their attacker.

Captain Uggo narrowed his eyes (not that anyone could see them behind his mask) at the cannonballs flying at his ship. They were flying fairly fast in the frictionless environment, but...they were just cannonballs. Two of them missed completely, sailing overhead or too far behind him. The remaining rebounded off the hull of the Monstrosity. One actually shattered the window of his cabin, but he reacted quickly, slicing the projectile in half with his plasma cutlass.
"What's going on up there?" Madame Butter face shouted.
"Nothing, dear. Just some pirate things."
"Well, don't make a mess!"
"Line it up, Sally," he commanded the ship, brandishing his cutlass, "and fire all starboard lasers." And it did so. A veritable fireworks display of superheated plasma erupted from the artillery of the Monstrosity, heading right for the Black Swan.
"Let's see if your old-fashioned ship can handle modern science!"

Blanche dubiously took Aurora's hand and Zayden's hand. "I hope you don't expect us to sing a song," she deadpanned.

Knox shrugged. "You know how it is. Suddenly housing a Universal Element is, well, strange. All that power and responsibility. The previous Time Keeper never had a chance to teach me about the Timestream or what my job actually entailed. Theska, though...I got the feeling I wasn't the first young Immortal he's helped." HE rubbed the back of his neck. "Plus, I was going through that whole post-death-of-my-not-girlfriend period. I don't even remember how I ended up in Random World; I just remember wandering off after I...after Jirr-Row died. So I was really alone."
He studied the muted celebration absently. "Ever wake up one day and realize your entire life has been an elaborate joke orchestrated by a demi-god?" He looked at her pointedly. "It ain't fun."

Captain Danielle's fury allowed her to think quickly and move the ship of the way of most of the lasers coming at her. However, a few of them hit the side of the ship only causing minor damage. At this point Captain Danielle was seething. In her rage, she unknowingly smacked David/Peter twice before he moved out of arm's reach.
"Deploy the smoke!" she shouted at no one in particular, "We are going to board their ship!"
The crew managed to find the smoke bombs and deploy them. Once the enemy ship was sufficiently blinded, Captain Danielle moved the Black Swan into position behind the enemy ship.
