Captain Danielle threw the kid off of her and immediately began spewing profanity and the now leaving ship. She then called David/Peter over to her.
"Promote this lad then prepare the ship for launch. We going to follow them to the ends of the universe to exact my revenge!" She then left for the bridge and left the two men looking at each other uncomfortably.
"Soooo...." David/Peter began, "I don't actually know what the positions are on this ship so... I guess you can be in charge of...... weapons or something?"

Rick shrugged. "'Kay." He started to walk off to find somewhere to take a nap, but Al grabbed his shoulder.
"Rick, what the hell was that?" The bespectacled man asked. Rick just shrugged again. Gabe appeared and slapped a hand onto his free shoulder.
"He was kicking ass, that's what!" He laughed.
"Gabe, does this not seem weird at all to you?"
Gabe frowned. "Our best friend finally finds some motivation in his life... and you're concerned about it?"
"Well..." Al loosened his grip, and Rick immediately slipped off and went belowdecks. "Let's just keep an eye on him, okay?"

Their plan of attack was to send three guys into a warzone. Gree could honestly say he’d heard worse ideas during his time in the Shadow military, but this was close. Sure, Nyles was there too but he was pulling a loner act and had gone on ahead.
The captain had been kind enough to spare two of the Ariadne’s few marines to make sure Gree didn’t get overwhelmed by zombies or robots or whatever other shagnasties had decided to invade this world.
“What’s this place called again?” He asked as he and his team moved towards the colony.
“Babylon Prime.” The marine to his left said. “My home planet.” The marine’s name was Jenkins, which automatically convinced Gree that he was going to die. He’d never met anyone named Jenkins who lived through a mission. Ever. And this being the man’s home planet under attack just raised another glaring death flag in Gree’s mind.
Sometimes, Gree reflected as he silently bid Jenkins a premature farewell, sometimes he was just too damn genre savvy for his own good.
“What’s that sound?” the other marine, Jaden Kravchenko, asked as he pointed his rifle towards the sky. Gree heard a faint whining sound that was getting louder by the second.
“Cover!” he barked and leaped behind a nearby tree. Jaden did the same, but Jenkins was too slow. A trio of flying drones of some kind appeared and wasted no time in firing at the lone marine. He didn’t stand a chance.
“Take em out!” He and Kravchenko made short work of the drones. Gree was just thankful that he’d managed to keep his gun with him. Though, now that he thought about it, he wasn’t quite sure what his gun was. Some sort of laser rifle? He was pretty sure that was it. Only now did have anything to really compare it to.
“Jenkins is gone sir.” Jaden said sadly as the two approached the body of their former teammate.
“Too damn genre savvy.” Gree muttered.
“Sir?”
“Nothing, soldier…
He’ll be missed / ( ) – We need to go \ Get over it
We need to finish this mission or more people are going to die.” Gree said. Jaded nodded and adopted a grim expression.
“Ready to go sir.” Gree found it odd that the marine just sort of accepted his leadership without Gree being in the Space Alliance at all….or even being human for that matter. But hey, whatever.
The two soldiers encountered two more patrols of drones along their way to the colony. Gree was pretty sure they had yet to actually encounter the main enemy force. Surely no colony could be brought low by an army of flying drones.
Suddenly a human figure in ridiculous (in his opinion) white and pink armor came running towards them, dodging gunfire as she went.
Gree finally got a good look at what they were facing. Bipedal figures with what looked to be a single flashlight-like eye in the center of their heads. Yep, robot invaders.
Making sure not to hit the retreating soldier, Gree and Jaden quickly took out the robots. A bit more of a challenge than the drones, but Gree had faced waaaaay worse in Awesome land.
“Thanks for the save.” The soldier- female from the voice- panted as she approached the two. “Uh, sir.” She added unsure.
“I’m Commander Gree and this is Lieutenant Kravchenko of the SAV Ariadne.”
“Chief Petty Officer Katy Hawthorn, colonial marines.” The marine snapped a salute. “Damn good to see that Alliance knows what’s going on here.”
What’s going on / Investigate - ( ) - Status \ Not Really
“Give me a sitrep Hawthorn.” Gree ordered.
“These things attacked us about twelve hours ago, sir. Just appeared out of nowhere and swarmed the colony. I…I think they were looking for something. They….I think they were K’eth.”
Jaden gasped in obvious shock….but gree had no idea what that meant so he just nodded seriously.
“What do you think they could be looking for?” he asked.
“It might be the Beacon.” Jaden offered. “The ah, package we were supposed to recover.” He xplained seeing Gree’s look.
“Right, the scientists have been all over that think ever since it got dug up.” Hawthorn added.
A warzone probably wasn’t the best place for exposition on this so called beacon or the k’eth, so Gree kept it simple. “Where is this beacon now?”
“It WAS at the dig site, just over the hill there.” Hawthorn motioned over her shoulder. “But I saw some of those damn robots moving the thing towards the colony.”
“Then that’s where we’re going.” Gree said firmly. “Fall in Hawthorn.”
“yes sir.”
And so they continued on their way. Gree just hoped that things didn’t get any more complicated than invading alien robots. Cause so far his worst fears were coming true. Robots he could deal with. Just as long as there weren’t any zombies.
Which was when they crested the hill and found a trio of bodies speared on strange spiked. Devices. They began twitching.
Dear God….robot zombies.

"Very well. Thank you, Knox." Artemis extended her hand to finalize her plans with the Immortal of Time. "You shall go tend to this Time Keeper business of yours. Then we shall commence with the gathering of our Immortal brethren at once. If you should ever need to contact me during your journey, just come to Awesome Land." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Um, thank you, Stella." Aurora delicately picked up the Scroll of Science and tossed it up in the air, where (thanks to the power of magic) it stayed. "Now, let's see..." Aurora waved her hands upward and all of the Scrolls on her person (as well as those in the hands of any other characters) were levitated into the air above her. As they circled around her hands, she counted. "One, two, three, four, five, six...and seven! That should do it! Now, let's put these away before something ridiculous and infuriating happens." Carefully, Aurora opened a portal and sent the Scrolls through one by one.
"Is that everything, Aurora?" Chancellor Awesome asked, having finally turned himself off auto-pilot.
"Should be. Now, all that's left is to get up into space and get rid of the Black Nova!"
"And how do you propose we do that?"
"Um..." Aurora considered this for a moment. How did she plan to get up into space. "Blanche, you're a space ninja, right? Can you just...warp us up there?"
"And are there any special precautions one should take before arriving?" Chancellor Awesome added. "Spacesuits and helmets, for example?" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What the..." Leon awoke on one of the couches in the Second Imperial Tower's observatory a few minutes after having been sent there by Aurora. "I...I feel violated. And I was just in Special Land. I know I was just in Special Land..." He clutched his forehead with his hand and took a few steps around the room. A while later, one word came to his mind.
"Zayden." Black flames manifested on the floor of the observatory and lapped at Leon's feet. "ZAYDEN!" The flames faded as a vortex of dark magical energy erupted around Leon, distorting the air around him. "So he thinks he can just go around and let people exploit his cosmic retconning abilities, huh? Let people's sisters molest them with tentacles and then send them home like nothing happened?!" Leon forcefully grabbed two regions of space in front of him and tore them away from each other, ripping a massive hole in the fabric of the universe. What appeared to be a black, viscous liquid poured forth from the hole and slowly filled the interior of the observatory.
"In just a matter of minutes, Awesome Land will be enveloped by the Null-Void. I mastered that little trick after reading Advanced Portal Formation, part of a balanced Dimensionalist's curriculum." Leon picked up a copy of Artemis' book and showed it toward an imaginary audience. "That'll teach them both to mess with the great Temperor, Leon Veralice! Now, Shadow Wraith!"
In front of Leon appeared one of the largest (we're talking skyscraper sized, at minimum) Shadow Fiends he knew: the Shadow Wraith. The part of the creature that did not fit within the tower observatory (which was most of it) phased through the ceiling and walls.
"I'm going to hightail it out of here so I don't get caught up in this Null-Void nonsense. Take care of things while I'm gone, alright?"
The Shadow Wraith roared in agreement.
"Good. Let me know if anything goes horribly awry. Peace out!"
And with that, Leon vanished.

"Before we proceed, I feel like someone here wants a little recognition," Aurora said. "And since I'm in such a good mood now that we've completed this agonizingly long quest, I see no reason not to be nice." With a snap of her fingers, Aurora summoned the particular scroll that Zento collected. "Thank you, shady looking person, for your aid to our party. As far as I know, you have no obligation to Awesome Land, so it means a lot that you were willing to help us thus far." She then walked up to Zento and, with her dragon-like strength, she gave him a big, nearly-bone crushing hug.

Knox nodded in thanks and turned to Mara Lee. “Would you mind gathering up Cassandra? I have to go pull Ollie out of that mosh pit.” The pit in question had grown exponentially since he and Artemis had begun talking. He was pretty sure there were now more people in that pit than had participated in the battle.
At first he tried to push through, but then he remembered he was an Immortal and simple snapped his fingers, freezing time except for himself, Ollie, Mara Lee, and Cassandra; Ollie kept moshing for a few seconds before the dead silence tipped her off.
“Hey man, why ya gotta be like that?”
“It’s time, Ollie,” he announced rather dramatically. “Did you take care of everything you needed to?”
She looked forlornly around her at the mosh pit. “Yeah, I guess so. Good mosh, but I’ve had better.” She exited by walking atop the still heads of the others. “So what’s this thing you need from me? I don’t remember.”
“You’re to become an Immortal.”
“Cool. Whassat?”
His eye twitched. “An avatar of one of the seven – er fourteen Universal Elements. Yours will be Light.”
She set off a few sparks with her hands before shrugging. “Yeah, ok. I guess that makes sense.”
Knox groaned. “I don’t think you understand the – you know what? Forget it. Let’s just go back to the Clock Tower.” With another snap of his fingers, he, Ollie, Mara Lee, and Cassandra were swallowed up by a portal – and time resumed it’s normal flow.
-
They reappeared in the foyer of the Clock Tower. Knox glanced around to make sure everyone had arrived safely before turning to the interim Light Immortal.”
“Cassandra?”
Cassandra hesitated only a moment before stepping forward. “I’ll do it.” She placed a hand over her chest and drew the Light out, collecting it in the glowing orb that had once been freed from Theska. With it she turned to Ollie. “Before I give you this – he wanted me to tell you that…he’s sorry.” Knox and Ollie both frowned, but she continued. “There’s a letter he wrote to you, Ollie, in his study. He wouldn’t tell me where it is, but you’ll know once you take it.”
Ollie received the orb carefully, warily, keeping it at arm’s length. It was warm – not in heat, but in feeling. It was inviting. It was comforting. She let it approach and meld with her body; the Light filled her and she understood at once what Cassandra had meant. “Thank you.”
Knox cleared his throat. “Well, now that that’s all taken care of, we have some Immortals to see about a Council.” But then he seemed to remember something. “Ah, but first! Cassandra, you needed my help, didn’t you?”
She started to say something, stopped, and sighed. “No, it’s ok.” Mara Lee’s eyes widened and she looked at her friend with alarm. “You’ve got important things to do. I can find someone else who can – “
“What do you need? Something to do with time travel?”
“Ah, kind of, but that’s not – “
“Well, I can make a short detour before I – “
“Knox! Agh, fine. We need to follow a convict through a…what was it, Mara?”
“Hm? Oh, a fourth-dimensional spacefold. Normally, I don’t have a problem, but time isn’t something they normally teach at the Academy. I mean, I could probably go back there and ask one of the professors, but then I have to go into why and I’m really not even supposed to be talking to anyone at all, but Cassandra’s been a big help and, well, you’re the Time Keeper so I guess it’s ok – I don’t think they’ll get on me to talking to an Immortal about stuff like this.”
Knox frowned. “I really can jump us real quick to where he is – but if you’re sure, I can still give you something to do the job anyway.” He thrust out his hand and a presented a pocket watch that was identical to the one he normally carried now.
Cassandra checked to make sure it wasn’t the normal one before taking it and opening it. Sure enough, an image of Jiir-Row stared back at her.
“You’re going to spread yourself to thin,” she said quietly.
“What?”
“All this trying to help everyone…what are you trying to prove, Knox?”
“I don’t…nothing?”
“Is it for her?” She held up the image of the dead girl.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said shortly. Ollie and Mara Lee both backed away uncomfortably.
“Don’t lie to me, Knox; I think we owe each other that much.”
“I’m the Time Keeper, an Immortal. I help people – that’s my job now.”
“I see it in your eyes, Knox – you’re trying to justify your own existence in any way you can. I know because I see the same thing when I look in the mirror. Is that why you have her?” She pointed at Ollie. “Is she the next one?”
“The next what?”
“The next her.” She presented the image of Jiir-Row again. “You still aren’t over her, are you?”
“You need to leave,” he said in something like a growl.
“I’m leaving. But Sarah’s my friend, Knox, and it isn’t fair what you’re doing. Not to Sarah and not to Ollie.”
“Cassandra…”
But Cassandra and Mara Lee were already heading out the door. “I bet you even went back in time,” Cassandra said over her shoulder. “I bet you tried to save her and she turned you down.” She cut off anything he tried to say by slamming the door.
Ollie saw the frustration in Knox and asked, “What the fizz was that all about?”
“Nothing,” he said. “She doesn’t know what she’s talking about. I need to…I need to sit down for a minute before we go.” And he walked away.
Ollie snorted and headed towards Theska’s old study, knowing the way intuitively. Everything was exactly the way he had left it – the memory surfaced within her briefly, indicating the location of the letter. She was sure that this wasn’t how an Immortal normally communed with previous Immortals, but she guessed it had to be important.
The letter had been tucked behind a row of books almost too high for her to reach. It wasn’t addressed to anyone. Nor was it sealed. However, when she pulled the folded paper from the envelope, the side facing her read, “Please forgive me for what I am about to tell you.”
She read the whole thing there before Knox returned. The contents were…not what she had expected. She folded it and spread Light over the letter – and blinked it out of existence; its contents would be forever stored in the Light that dwelled within her. There would be a better moment than this to decide how to react. Right now, they had a Council to form.
And Knox needed someone to watch over him.
(She still had no idea about the body.)
-
“Yeah, huggles!” Stella joined Aurora in her bone-crushing hug with Creepy Guy. Not that she condoned Creepy Guy’s actions, i.e. the sale and possession of drugs, being creepy, and having a weird face. But still.
Hugs.
Blanched cleared her throat. “While, I would love to, your majesty, but my Dark Energy jumps are relatively short range. I can’t jump us out of the atmosphere. We’re going to have to…find a spaceship.”

"What... the... fiz..." Zento gasped, struggling to breathe under the force of the hug. Cale watched for a few seconds, and for a moment a look of jealousy crossed his face.
He shook his head and then looked to Blanche. "So... is there like, a spaceship store or something we can go to? I would suggest a rental, but I get the feeling that whatever we use isn't going to survive this trip."

"Alright men come on. Let's hurry up and get this new base settled."
General Jazz stood in front of Discotech's fortress, guiding the NAACP into the doors. The army flooded the building and began to repair the damage. The Professor shook the general's hand.
"Thank you for the help General Jazz, we couldn't have done it without the NAACP. Good luck with bunkering down here in Funky Land. I am sure the hipsters will give you very little trouble. Just don't name anything Wall Street."
"Thank you for the advice my bony companion. Where will you be headed off to now?"
"Well I ought to be getting back to taking care of the Black Nova incident, but I guess I am not quite sure how to get back. It seems that during clean up, I missed the portal out of here.
Just then, Captain Calypso and the rest of the NAACP free lancers pulled up in their van and Sergeant Didgeridoo swung open the sliding door.
"Why don you take a ride wit us mon. We get you der mighty fast."
"Splendid! Make room friends!
The Professor climbed into the van and Captain Calypso lit up another cigar.
"RB, if you would."
The driver smiled and pressed a red button just under the tape deck. The wheels tucked under the frame and the rims receded, and began to push hot air against the ground and causing it to rise high into the air. Wings began to protrude from the sides and jets formed underneath soon after. The headlights flashed on, but emitted a purple light rather than the usual yellow. The area in front of them became bathed in this light and a portal formed. They flew through the portal and instantly found their way to groovy land with the rest of the group. Where they landed and disembarked from the vanship.
Just as The Professor stepped onto the ground, another portal formed and Calamitous stepped through. Excited to be reunited with his other half, he ran and attacked his other self with a furiously loving hug. Calamitous, filled with newfound rage, pushed back The Professor.
"Get your bony hands off of me. What in the hell has you so excited anyway? You act like you have never seen yourself before."
"I'm just excited because now we can finally merge!!"
He began to load the only remaining merging capsule (Calamitous used his to merge with Ice Calamitous many pages ago) into his science shooter.
"Oh no you don't!!"
Calamitous tackled The Professor to the ground and knocked away gun.
"I'm not going back in there! If I have to hear you sing your happy song one more time I'll split our skull wide open!"
The Professor began to crawl over to the science shooter.
Just accept it you fool! We have to be complete! We need each other!
He grabbed the science shooter and pointed it at Calamitous.
"Dammit! Stop that! I'm not going back"
He kicked the gun from The Professor's hands and dove on top of it.
Calamitous!
The Professor got up and ran towards Calamitous and reached for the gun. He was too late, Calamitous rolled over and shot wildly into the air.
"There! Now the last capsule that can merge us is gone, and there is nothing you can do about....it..."
Calamitous looked down at his hands, which began glowing, and spread to the rest of his body. The Professor collapsed backwards and pointed to the sky.
What...what have you done...
The Black Nova was emitting the same light as Calamitous and a vortex was forming. The funnel fell from the sky and channeled its way directly into his heart. It turned cold and black, filled with the dark energy of the super nova. He began screaming and writhing on the ground as the transformation took hold.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!! What's...happen....aaaaaah!"
Calamitous dissolved into a black mist which filled the sky and disappeared into space. The Professor picked up his science shooter from the ground.
What have you done...

Blanche shrugged. "I don't think so...I don't actually know your name, kid."
Stella front-flipped onto Cale's shoulders. "Pay attention, missy! This is Cale and he's my bestest friend in the whole of forever so be nice to him kay."
"...OK. Anyway, I don't know. Empress Aurora, IS there a spaceship story anywhere around here?"
A year ago, that would have been silly for a number of reasons. 1. In Far Out, used spaceship dealers were everywhere. 2. This was apparently a pre-spaceflight world, so, duh, no. 3. What had happened to her life?

Cale struggled to maintain his balance with Stella on his shoulders, but he stumbled and ended up falling on his face. He let out an "Oof!" as Stella landed on top of him, followed by an "Ouchies! >.<"
Zento just stood by, waiting for the answer to Blanche's question.

"So....just in case anyone actually cares." Azzi spoke up. "I'm pretty sure Havoc Squad is dead." he paused to let that sink in. "And it was in no way my fault. At all."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Please tell me that's the last of them." Gree said flatly.
"I...I think so." Jaden responded, scanning the area. The trio stood before the Beacon, having apparently come to the end of their quest. After fighting a nightmare of robot zombies, disarming a few nukes and finding the body of Nyles ( he would be missed....Gree supposed) it seemed that they were finally done.
So this is a real Umbrian Beacon. AMazing." Hawthorn commented, staring at their prize in awe. Gree frowned at the name. It sounded familiar but he couldn't figure out why.
"Come in Ariadne." he commed the ship in orbit. Things had turned out pretty badly but at least they could get the beacon out of here. "We have the package and are ready for pickup."
"Roger ground team, stand by." came the reply. A sudden cry of alarm made Gree turn sharply, just in time to see Katy being pulled towards the beacon, which was now glowing bright red. Active.
"Damn it." he grunted and with a leap, reached Hawthorn and pulled her out of the way...only to be pulled in himself. "Well shit." was the last thing he said before the Beacon entered his mind.
A surge of images and sounds assailed him. Distantly he could here his teammates calling out to him, but he didn't pay attention.
His attention was focused on the invading thoughts. And the numb shock that ran through him.
To most minds, the information stored on an Umbrian beacon would be unintelligible and maddening. A mix of sights and sounds that made no sense.
Not Gree.
He saw a world. A civilization rise out of their home world and conquer the stars. Then saw as they were utterly destroyed, by a force that shook the very universe. A cry of distress was sent out across the empire. But it was too late. Far too late.
He saw his people.
He watched them die.
Then he blacked out.
Stella hummed a tune as she absently combed Cale's hair for parasites - popping the few she managed to find into her mouth and munched on them. "I don't remember who those guys are," she said to Azzi. "But I hope whatever afterlife they wind up in is full of seahorses and grapefruit and a plaid wallpaper."
Evidently, she liked those things.
Blanche blinked. "Does anyone else find it weird that Bojangles is deferring to Stella and oh Seraphina did I just use a silly nickname?" She went to go stand in the corner and think about her life choices.
Stella, on the other hand, seized the Professor's arm and flipped the bitch! "Hey, Bojangles! Don't sneak up on ninja, kay? We might just snap and do something flip a skeleton man onto his back and then dance on his ribcage - like this!"
Stella proceeded to do exactly that, transitioning from nonsense into a rhymthic river dance. "Probs I been spendin' time with Shiny too much. Oh well. Yeah, let's steal the Free Lancelots' ice cream van and launch it off a mountain so we can fly into the great unknown to stop that blue oven or something from destroying us!"
Blanche reluctantly boarded the vanship, taking solace that she could confine herself to the cargo hold for the time being, allowing some much needed rest and relief from the insanity. By cargo hold, she meant the part of the van the farthest back, but, evidently, it was MUCH bigger on the inside than it was on the outside.
"This...this is an actual spaceship," she stuttered, unsure of exactly why she was surprised. She stepped outside again and surveyed the vehicle. It looked like a normal van. Back inside, it was unbelievably spacious, possessing at least two decks and a cargo hold. She stormed off with an exasperated huff.
Upon seeing the inside, Stella jumped off of Cale's shoulders and flew towards the cabin, where she began pressing ALL THE BUTTONS.
"Wow...I didn't think it was possible, but we now have a gig booked for every major venue across all of Random World! High five, bro!" Scern, a bookbag slapping against his back, lifted his right hand high into the air, partially expecting the wondrous sting that accompanied a successfully returned high-five. But it never came. Galro paid Scern little attention, never taking his eyes from a small black book in his hands. Flipping through its pages, he grumbled. "Yes, but those concerts aren't for another several months. Until then, we don't have a single concert throughout the entire planet..." "Well that's why we're here, right?" Scern pointed toward a large electronic sign that the two had just passed. It read: "That is why we're here, yes," Galro sighed, snapping the book shut and shoving it into his pocket. "But there's absolutely no reason why we can't get there faster. You have a flying van, for goodness sake!" Indeed, Galro and Scern had been wandering by foot for quite a while. After having booked their last concert, they received a tip from a loyal fan that many Random World denizens had found success in this "hot, new dimension full of possibilities". Without hesitation, they hopped through the nearest portal to this dimension and had been walking ever since. "Walking is so much more relaxing than sitting in that stuffy old van, Galro." Scern took a deep breath through his nose and loudly exhaled to make his point. "Besides, you know that they wouldn't let me take a giant car through that portal." "You're the Immortal of Metal, Scern," Galro reminded his colleague. "You could have folded that hunk of junk into your pocket and slipped it through unnoticed!" "Eh." Scern shrugged. "It wouldn't have been in the spirit of things, you know? You really need to chill, bro." "I CAN'T chill!" Galro snapped. Breathing heavily, trying to maintain his composure, he said, "Look, Scern...I'll level with you. I haven't had a woman in weeks. If I don't get one soon, it will be very, very bad." "Haha, you're always so thirsty. You really need to learn how to ouch!" Scern suddenly found himself flying several feet backwards through the air. He landed on the ground with an audible thud. Galro cautiously approached the spot from which Scern had been flung back and tapped the air around it. He reflexively pulled his hand back. The air felt warm and, more peculiarly, solid. "Looks like someone doesn't want us going to this 'Awesome Land' place." "Oh really?" Scern jumped to his feet and brushed off his hair. "Ha, what was you first clue?" "The barrier, for one. Feels like someone has spent a lot of time and magic preparing this repulsive force field. Isn't that just peachy." Galro crossed his arms and restrained himself from kicking the barrier in anger. "Ah, well. This dimension's a huge place. We'll just walk over to some other country and see if we can get a gig there. Let's roll out!" Scern pumped his fist, turned around and prepared to walk in the opposite direction. "Next stop, Really Cool Land!" "GRRAAAARGH!" With only that growl as a warning, the skies darkened with a thousand storm clouds and a torrent of rain fell to the ground. "Galro?" Scern asked tentatively, turning around only to find that no one was there. " I'm up here, Scern. In the clouds!" Galro's voice boomed from the heavens above, nearly as ominous as thunder. "Come on, Galro, don't be that guy! It is...or was...such a beautiful day for a walk!" Scern whined. " NO! This storm is headed straight for Really Cool Land. The clouds will be over their skies in a matter of minutes. We are going to go there, we are going to chat with the leader, and we are going to book a concert for this weekend. And we are going to do it NOW!Scern snapped his fingers and a zipper on his backpack pulled itself to the side, revealing the bag's contents. Another finger-snap caused a titanium umbrella to shoot out from the bag and land in Scern's hands, completely unfolded. "But Galro, how am I supposed to get there? I'm not a water wizard like you!" But there was no response. The main storm clouds were zooming toward Really Cool Land at an alarming rate, leaving Scern with only a light rain to talk to. "Galro? Gaaalroooo!" With a sigh and a shrug, Scern picked up his pace in an effort to keep up with the Immortal of Water.
