It's shit. It's beyond shit.
Granted, I was going to hate this film from the start. I hate the despotic philosophy it promotes and the woman who wrote it. But no. This film had to insult me on a primal level.
THE FUCKING PRODUCTION VALUES LOOK LIKE SOMETHING THAT CRAWLED OUT OF A 1980'S STEPHEN KING MINISERIES AND THE ACTING TALENT DOESN'T EVEN EXIST.
It's a crappy film at a basic level. The characters are all selfish ass hats, and the dialog is beyond bad. Here's one exchange that really brought my piss to a boil.
"So John how are you feeling. You're a man who knows how a hard working person functions over a bunch of parasites."
"Terrible as ever. My goddamn secretary asked for another raise."
THIS SOUNDS LIKE A GODDAMN SNL PARODY. NOT A FEATURE FILM. WHAT'S REALLY FUNNY IS THAT THE DIRECTOR CREDITS HIMSELF AS A TRUE OBJECTIVIST.
I THINK YOUR FILM PRETTY MUCH DECONSTRUCTS YOUR OWN IDEOLOGY. THE FILM IS SHIT. THE PRODUCTION IS SHIT. THE ACTING IS SHIT. THANK GOD I PIRATED THIS, BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE DEMANDED MY MONEY BACK HAD I ACTUALLY PAID TO SEE THIS GARBAGE.
HELL, IT'S NOT LIKE THIS FILM COULDN'T HAVE AT LEAST IMPRESSED ME. ALTHOUGH I MAY DISAGREE WITH THE AESOP, BUT I STILL THINK THAT THE 1950'S PRODUCTION OF "THE FOUNTAINHEAD" IS A GOOD FILM. IT HAD GREAT ACTING AND COMPETENT STORY TELLING.
