So Greeks will mostly be fighting the Heavenly Host and the abominations. Most of the fighting will be sea battles, with and without boarding, though occasionally the enemy will smash their way through to the first layer of Fortress Islands.
To elaborate on the islands, clearly a flying Angel or swimming abomination can bypass them if they manage to defeat the triremes, but if they try to pass in numbers large enough for an actual attack rather than just a raid, then the defenses can easily spot them and open fire. Thus, Pelops suffers many raids, but almost no massive attacks.
Oh, and aren't the Babylonian gods dead/abominations?

Yep, Dagon and his ilk are all Sumerian spin offs from Papa Cthulhu.
