Character Name: Reified
AKA: Zain Eder
Age: 45
Appearance: African-America with short hair. His natural eye color was blue, which he maintains with contact lenses, but his current "natural color" is a shifting psychedelic swirl of various colors. He's only about 5'6'', but makes up for it with his abilities. Being officially unofficially a part of the United States military, Zain wears a mixture of standard army fatigues and samurai kimono, having fallen in with Zen Buddhism and Bushido since the breaking of the Lighthouse Society.
Powers: Zain's powers manifested as energy manipulation. The Gift manifested in Zain as a gateway to another dimension; his body is a bridge between one reality and another and he possess the ability to shunt energy back and forth. Because the gate is always open, he bypasses conservation of energy, allowing his body to reach superhuman levels. This energy can also be used to induce superspeed, limited flight, and energy projection. Conversely, Zain can absorb kinetic energy thrown at him. See the entry on Reified for further details.
tl;dr Energy Projection, Super Strength, Super Speed, Increased Durability, Expert hand-to-hand Combatant, Expert Swordsmanship
Biography: Zain grew up a close friend of Jericho and was one of the original Keepers; some say the first bestowed with The Gift. Throughout his time as a Keeper, Zain never lost the sense of right and wrong that had originally inspired him, but after the breaking and Jericho's exile, his idealism slipped. He liked to say that his "dealism died with Mars." Since then, he and those who shared his Gift have become a government-sponsored special operations unit known as Task Force 5.
Throughout his life, Zain became acutely aware of the fine he walked with his power, a constant threat of allowing exotic energies to infect the world, to become a walking weapon of mass destruction. After Mars, he took it to heart. He fell in with Zen Buddhism, with meditation and calming as a way to maintain control over his powers. With his preference for bladed weapons, Zain has fashioned himself a modern-day samurai.
He still believes that he can save the world, but has redefined his parameters.
Notable Feats: Living dimensional gateway; accidentally proved wormhole theory (although the technology to create one is still impossible); is now a Gifted ghost story ("Watch out or Zain/the Task Force will get you.")
Notable Quotes: "Remember Mars."
"If you lose control, I will not hesitate to strike you down. I would appreciate it if you would extend me the same courtesy."

Character Name: The Dullahan AKA: Nick Dresdon Age: 30 Appearance: When not clad in his exosuit (which is impossible, these days), Nick was shown to be a fairly athletic man with blue eyes. He has black hair that is usually slicked back, and a goatee. In his suit, he looks like this: covered in a tattered gray cloak to hide his appearance in public. Powers: Nick is a technopath. He can control technology with his mind, down to a fundamental level and link himself with machines. The result is that he can create astonishing machines with nothing but his mind, and can connect his brain with technology to spy or collect data. Biography: Nick grew up as the heir to a billion dollar empire, excelling in school with a record that distinguished him as the intellectual successor to his father’s company. Upon his father’s death Nick embraced his role as the CEO of Dresdon Industries, having long expected his role in the company. For years Nick lived wealthy and successfully, until fate literally came crashing down. It’s not every day that a superhero comes hurling through your window, but that was the situation Nick Dresdon found himself in one day as a superhuman on his last leg of life ended up in his home. With his last breath, this dying superhero gave Nick the Gift. Nick found new purpose with his gift, discovering his new mental connection to the technology that he’d grown up around. He began to build machines for himself, his most notable being the combat exo-suit that earned him the nickname ‘Warframe’. Nick was contacted by the government not long after getting the Gift, and was recruited into working as an operator. When not dealing with domestic superhero threats, Nick worked in military operations and black ops missions. In these assignments he saw the worst of humanity, and even worse, how his own government really operated. He grew disgusted with his work and quit working for the government, cutting all ties and withdrawing funding by his corporation. Unfortunately, he underestimated Uncle Sam’s desperation to keep superheroes under control. Nick soon found that he was ousted out of his position as CEO of Dresdon Industries, which was soon afterwards dissolved into government owned companies. His personal funds began to “mysteriously” disappear and soon Nick found himself with nothing but his personal inventions, that he managed to hide before the government confiscated them. Nick, now impoverished with little more than his exosuit and superpowers, wandered the world, still trying to be a hero, while fighting his rising feelings of cynicism and disgust for…everything. He began to slowly integrate himself more and more with any technology he could find. Losing everything and the betrayal of it all made Nick go slightly insane for a time, and in this time he gegan to delve deeper into his gifts. He would possess machines and merge his mind with the net, and even with his own suit. One day Nick discovered to his horror that he couldn't return to his body. From lack of nourishment and care during one of Nick's trips into cyberspace, his body had withered away and died. Nick's consciousness resides in his exo-suit. He is literally a walking suit of armor, albeit on a much more technologically advanced scale. Now he struggles to try and retain his sense of self by being a hero, and trying not to be driven (more) insane by his situation. Notable Feats: Gave humanity great leaps forward in technological advancement, responsible for the defeats of several notable supervillains and made first contact with an alien race (though he keeps that to himself). Notable Quotes: “Singularity is near.” (Used jokingly…maybe) “In retrospect, connecting my mind to the internet had far more drawbacks than benefits. Do you know how much freaky porn I have to sift through at any given moment? Yeah, I’ve seen some shit man.”

Character Name: Graviton
AKA: Charles Eddleton, Chuck
Age: 50
Appearance: Has shoulder-length blonde (though severely graying) hair, which he often ties back when he's concentrating or in a combat situation, and a beard. Dark green eyes. His height is around 6'5". Usually wears a dress shirt and tie under a black vest with matching slacks and a brown overcoat, though he has been seen wearing casual attire on occasion.
Powers: Graviton has a control over gravity, the full extent of which even he does not truly know. He generally uses it to defend himself and others, or to detain those who are attempting to do harm.
Biography: Chuck became a close friend of Jerry's during the former's 10th grade year, and they kept in touch even after his graduation. Graviton was one of the original ten Keepers. Despite the obvious potential of someone with control over gravity, Charles preferred to use his abilities to keep his friends safe from harm. He also would always try and find a peaceful solution to any problem. By some he was considered the most rational and level-headed of the Keepers, while others referred to him as "Pansiton." After Jericho's exile and the destruction of Mars, Charles removed himself from the Keepers, slipping quietly into the shadows.
When the conflict between the Secret Flame and Task Force 5 arose, and those with the Gift were being forcibly recruited into either group or outright killed, Graviton reappeared as the leader of a new group, simply called Sanctuary. The group's goal became to seek out and protect those who had no desire to join either side, and they've managed to stay hidden from the other groups by silently moving between hiding spots, never resting in one location for more than a month, maximum.
Charles never wanted to be a leader, but he has held strong to his determination to help all of those with the Gift that he can. This alone has inspired others to follow him.
Notable Feats: Any accomplishments Gravitron has had have been more or less overshadowed by those of some of the more prominent Keepers. He may have the ability to do so much as creating a black hole, however he has never attempted such a thing.
Notable Quotes: "I'm not a great man. I simply do what I believe is right."
"Are we truly beyond redemption? I think that any of us, even Jerry, can still make up for the wrongs we have committed."

First 4 keepers, all bad ass. Character name: Quasar AKA: Real name unknown. Tells others to call him Smith. Age: 46 Appearance: I want you to imagine the original design for the Marvel villain Electro but with fire colors and flame motifs. Quasar still has the same stupid looking mask, though. Less green, more orange. You get the idea. Power: Able to turn the air around him into super heated plasma to use as projectiles. Biography: One of the first Super Villains and a pretty well respected one to boot. Back in the day he was known for his flashy battles and crazy acts of daring. Wanting to create more of a spectacle rather than try to gain an sort of fortune, at first he robbed banks to make a name for himself. After becoming a house hold name, he would simply appear in public places and challenge super heroes to defeat him or else he would hold the city for ransom. Many heroes were unable to best him, save for Jericho. They soon became rivals, although it was always a rather friendly one. Quasar eventually even gave the gift to his brother, who developed similar powers and styled himself Falling Star and becoming his sidekick. Many often wondered what he did with all the money he often earned. Well, no one knows for sure, but many orphanages would find themselves with mysterious donations left on their front porch. He's retired now. His brother mysteriously vanished years ago, though he suspects that Task Force 5 is to blame. Now he lives a quiet life in Rio de Janeiro. Notable Feats: Cemented in pop culture as "That Wacky, but pretty much harmless villain who kicks a lot of ass." Once stole the statue of liberty. He returned it a week later with all that green shit washed off. Notable Quote: "HAHAHA! You'll never defeat me this time, ______."

Character Name: No special name. He's just Miguel. AKA: Miguel Rojas Navarro Age: 24 Appearance: Powers: Chi Manipulation ( powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Chi_Manipulation) and Chi Augmentation ( powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Chi_Augmentation) Bio: Miguel spent most of his life (from about age 13 to 22) living in a monastery on the outskirts of Chinese society. He ran away from home in Pamplona, the "capital" the Navarra region of Spain, due to his parents abusing him. He stowed away on a plane to China, and, when he arrived, he ran from the city towards the monastery that he saw in the distance. Upon reaching the gate, he raised his hand to knock, but the doors were already swinging open. The monk before him, Grandmaster Feng, looked at him with reluctance, but after Miguel's show of respect and necessity, Grandmaster Feng took him in as his own personal student. During his time in the monastery, Grandmaster Feng, who was given the Gift by his master almost sixty years ago, passed it on to Miguel. Feng was getting old, and he wanted to give Miguel his powers in hopes that Miguel would keep their manifestation of the Gift going from teacher to student for generations. He is travelling the world and is currently in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Notable Feats: He has complete control over his body and resistance to the elements. He once scaled Mt. Everest in just his monk garb. The only thing that stood between him and the elements (other than his baggy monk clothing) was a pair of ear muffs (the wind was causing quite a racket, and it hurt his ears). Notable Quotes: " A gem is not polished without rubbing, nor a man perfected without trials." - Chinese Proverb " La suerte está echada." - Spanish Proverb (means "The die is cast") Other: Being from Spain, he is bilingual and will probably utter some small phrases in Spanish. In reality, this is just to give me an excuse to practice writing in Spanish. I will provide translation if you all would like, but more than likely, if you took any Spanish in high school, you'll be able to understand it on your own. ^.^

Character Name: "Helmet Hero"; "The Motorcycle Hero"; "Dark Helmet"
AKA: Andrew Oswalt
Age: 17
Appearance: White; blond, curly hair; green eyes; average build; wears normal clothes like t-shirts and jeans and khakis, but his "costume" is a motorcycle helmet (black) and a leather jacket (fake) over whatever he was wearing.
Power: Andrew is a Reified, one of those special few that supposedly trace their lineage back to Zain Eder himself. Of course, he has no way of knowing, since both his parents are dead, and he was born with the Gift.
Thus far:
- Enhanced strength - Beginning enhanced speed - Increased durability - Failed flight attempts - Unable to properly control energy flow, so he glows when maxed out
Biography: Andrew Oswalt is that type of kid who could possibly get straight A's, but he really just doesn't care. He knows how to skate by with average grades and leaves it at that. He's got a group of friends that he's fallen in with, but remains emotionally distant - though he knows how to appear around them, so they think he's "normal".
Andrew's Gift manifested around the age of 12, but he didn't really "perfect it" for a few years. Of course, he decided he could be a superhero, like the Lighthouse Society he was fascinated with. Donning a forgotten motorcycle helmet that used to be his father's, Andrew ventured out to fight crime. His first hit was a convenience store robbery. Bad guy tried to shoot him, but failed, and Andrew beat the shit out of him. Since then he's tried reigning in his strength, but it only seems to increase.
Andrew keeps a cold distance from pretty much everyone else, including his grandparents. They are interesting to him, humans, and his whole life has been devoted to trying to act like one, although he never quite felt one with the world. His powers have since confirmed his beliefs that he was different from the rest. He holds back in his powers because of what he might do, and how that might affect how others look upon him.
Notable Feats: Stopped a few armed robberies and at least one rape. Accidentally created a comically man-shaped dent in a Lexus one day whilst trying to fly.
Notable Quotes: "I am a god among ants and they don't even know it."
"One day..."

Character Name: Pyrosus
AKA: Timothy Brighton, Tim
Age: 19
Appearance: Has medium-length brown hair that he keeps tied back and a thin beard (think Ezio). Has brown eyes and is around 6 feet tall. Somewhat of a slender build, though with defined muscles. Generally wears a black hoodie, jeans, and a t-shirt.
Powers: Pyrosus' main power is pyromancy. He can generate fire at his fingertips, hurl fireballs at enemies, and cause any object within his field of vision to combust. He can also project a solid, humanoid shape which only lasts for a couple of seconds, but is capable of attacking an enemy or shiedling an ally.
Biography: It was during Tim's senior year in high school when he found himself and his best friend, Jason, under assault by two groups of individuals with incredible power. It was on that day that he learned both of Jason's Gift, and of the existence of the group known as Task Force 5. That was also the day that he found out about the existence of Sanctuary.
Task Force 5 had somehow learned of Jason's existence, and had come to force him to either join their ranks or be exterminated. Despite having no idea as to what was going on, Tim risked his life to protect his friend, and was nearly killed. They both would likely have died there, if not for the timely appearance of Graviton and a group of members of Sanctuary. The two boys were taken to one of Sanctuary's many hideouts, and asked to join.
When Tim expressed a desire to join but pointed out that he did not have the Gift, Graviton promptly gave it to him on the spot. Eddleton explained that he had been impressed by the boy's bravery and desire to save his friend, and felt that he was deserving of the power and responsibility that came along with the Gift. The two joined, however a year later Jason suddenly disappeared, and could not be relocated by Sanctuary.
Since then Pyrosus, as he came to be known, has been involved in numerous missions to protect those with the Gift who came under attack, either by Task Force 5 or others who may wish them harm. Despite his youth, his skill and efforts have earned him a high rank within Sanctuary, and for a few months he has found himself in charge of various missions.
Notable Feats: Receiving the Gift from a former Keeper; Becoming a ranking officer of Sanctuary despite his youth.

Character Name: Panacea/Anathema
AKA: Jared Ito
Age: 35
Appearance: Looks very Japanese, although is only about 1/2, being a 4th generation native. He doesn't really "keep" his hair so much as let it grow and chop it when it gets unmanageable. His white doctor's coat is... not so white anymore. Disheveled would be an understatement. Jared is a mess.
Powers: Panacea has an intuitive knowledge of the inner workings of any human body he comes in contact with (including his own). He also possess the ability to manipulate any part of the human body in induce healing, or to assume control. Theoretically, he can maintain an eternal youth.
Bio: Jared has a fairly normal childhood. He got decent grades through school, and college. In medical school, he applied himself to his work and became a successful physician. Of course, no matter what he did, he could not save everybody.
One day, he was treating a terminally ill lady. Stumped as to what to do exactly, he kept searching for a way - suddenly, she grabbed his arm and begged him to save her. Something awakened within him. Stunned, he told hold of her hands in turn and promised to save her. When he ran more tests later that day, he found that she was completely healthy; her disease had vanished.
It turns out, the woman had given him the Gift. Under cover of his medical profession, Jared began covertly experimenting to see what else his Gift could do, however unethical that was. He justified it by saying he was healing patients.
Things went sour when a patient he was "treating" started acting strangely. The broken arm he was healing suddenly fractured - a better analogy would be to say it exploded within his arm. Had he stuck around, he would have been fired and stripped of his medical license (which happened anyway) but he fled, driven by something.
He discovered he could use his powers to manipulate others biologically. Still wanting to do good, he adopted the persona of Panacea and became a crimefighter. This lasted a year or two before Anathema reared his ugly head.
Anathema was the name he gave the other personality that developed. Since the incident at the hospital, Anathema began taking form until, one day whilst fighting the common villain, Flashbang, he blacked out. When he came to, Flashbang was smeared across the street, organs still working, screaming.
Ito fled. Since then, he has been drifting from town to town, trying to heal as many people as he could before losing control. He frequently converses with Anathema. Several times, Jared has healed himself of his Dissociative Identity Disorder, but it always seems to return.

Character Name: The Omniance
AKA: Ivan Laszlus
Age: 42
Appearance: Thick square rimmed glasses and a boring beige suit and tie every day. When being his normal self, he attire involves a simple clip on tie with diagonal red stripes. When he becomes The Omniance, he actually just unclips his tie, flips it over, revealing the other tie. It is black with an atom on it.
Powers: Time Dilation- he can create an dimensional bubble around a location and by creating a severe enough gravitation field at the center, cause time displacement to occur. This is used mainly to slow down time. His lair, a stadium sized warehouse floating in the upper regions of the atmosphere, circles an extremely dense center with a pull large enough to displace the time within the warehouse, which allows him to complete projects at an exponential speed and also, to age slower depending on the amount of real time he spends in the base. He should technically he is about 42, biologically he is only 37.
Quantum Entanglement- He is able to cause individuals to become puppets. By laws of entanglement, the puppet may only function as Ivan himself does. Any actions taken by the controlled must be performed by Ivan, although he does not have to be anywhere near the person at all.
Tachyon Control- Ivan has the incredible ability to not only locate Tachyons, but control the momentum as well. (because fuck you Heisenburg). This means he is able to transport the particles to specific locations and cause their movement. For form over function, he has created a gun with a chamber where he collects the particles, and is then able to fire them at will as opposed to just popping them in and out of existence whenever he wishes (thing paintball gun for theoretical particles). The shots from the gun are devastating, seeing as how the particles travel at the speed of light.
Access to the Akashic Field - semi self explanatory. He is able to access the cosmic memory field which means that he has access to all memory/knowledge past, present, and future. This accounts for any of his futuristic technology that he possesses. By principle this also allows him to also know people's thoughts or actions but this is rarely relied upon. His other powers also stem from this as access to the field also allows you the use of the entirety of your brain.
Biography: Slovakian born, 1998, Ivan had a more or less bland childhood. Living in the poverty stricken areas of the country, which is mostly everywhere, his parents knew that he would never amount to anything if he were to stay. They put all of their money into a plane ticket for their son and enrollment at an international boarding school in England. He left his home at the age of 6 and began enrollment. He spent the remainder of his childhood and teen years at the school with his roommate, Takashi Saitou. The two had been best friends ever since. After boarding school he was awarded a scholarship and pursued degrees in cosmology and physics. After gaining his PHD at the age of 26, he went on to teach at Lancaster University. At the age of 30, he had a student failing his advanced theory course. The student, a week before final grades were meant to go out, offered Ivan his Gift in exchange for a passing letter. Ivan agreed and then, the Omniance was born. He then shared his Gift with Takashi, his still only friend in the world, and the two began to patrol campus at night halting misdemeanors and busting up rohypnol induced fraternity parties. Slowly becoming bored with this, they began to move on to gang violence but in recent years their actions have trickled out too to the actions of Task Force 5 and wishing not to attract too much attention. His time is now spent teaching and spending hours in his lair creating new gadgets and technological advances to sell to various private companies.
Notable Feats: The fact that he has a time distorting orbiting lair in the upper atmosphere is a great feat, despite the fact that no one knows about it. Also various advances sold to private industries (most notably the Google glasses, yeah you are welcome), and a successful Einstein-Rosen Bridge that he uses to get from his home to the lair floating above.
Notable Quotes: "You inner city gangs amuse me. I will never understand your fashion. Those bright colors and bandanas look so Tachy-on you."

Takashi Saitou
Character Name: Cold Storage
AKA: Takashi Saitou
Age: Technically 42, but biologically 40
Appearance: Always very chubby, even in childhood. Most likely cast as that awkward kid who sits alone in the cafeteria eating ice cream every day at lunch. His suit is a typical super hero suit. Unflatteringly clad in white spandex with red gloves, boots, mask, and speedo. He has a crest of a refrigerator in the same art style of TARDIS from Dr. Who on his chest. His symbol.
Powers: A refrigerator escapes from his very soul. It has many uses. Such as: Falling on criminals, storing leftovers from their dinner outings, or more appropriately storing criminals (but only when they arrest midgets or small children/middle schoolers for various misdemeanors or for just being annoying), and for distributing popsicles to the kids who are on the playground that AREN'T being arrested.
Biography: Born to an aristocratic family in Kyoto. They were unsurprisingly ashamed of having a hefty child with only average intelligence. They shipped him off to the international boarding school in England and wiped their hands of him. He then met Ivan and the rest they say, is history. After graduation he gained a job with IT at Lancaster College. After their recent lapse in crime fighting, he essentially just uses his power to save money on the electrical bill every month.
Notable Feats: The only person to ever be able to fit five kindergarteners in a single refrigerator, WHOLE kindergarteners that is.
Notable Quotes: "Hello ladies, would you like to date me now, or should I just save you for later?"

Character Name: Athena
AKA: Maya Ferun
Age: 18
Appearance: Long, very light blonde hair and blue eyes. Around 5'4". Usually wears a long-sleeved shirt and jeans.
Powers: Athena is able to detect those who have the Gift, and can communicate telepathically with anyone who has it as long as they are within ten feet of her.
Biography: Maya hasn't lived what most would consider a "normal" life. When she was thirteen years old, her father, Kyle Ferun, became one of the founding members of the group known as Sanctuary. Maya and her mother traveled with the group for their own protection. For many years, Kyle served as Graviton's right-hand man, and it was largely thanks to him that the group survived long enough to accumulate a considerable fighting force.
It was Kyle who gave Maya her Gift, deeming her ready to join Sanctuary's ranks. A month later, he and a squad he led went missing after a particularly violent encounter with Task Force 5. Since then Maya, as Athena, has used her Gift to help Sanctuary track down targets, and has been invaluable in their recruitment efforts.
