On this first post, I will keep a running list of the characters and who's controlling them. As of this point in time, race selections are restricted to human, ehk, and atazi (although this will likely change as time goes on). As well, the number of characters allowed per player is...oh, let's say three, but try to keep it less than that.
And below is the CS format
Name: (And/Or aliases)
Age:
Gender:
Race: (Human, Ehk, Atazi)
Appearance: (or image is fine, too)
Personality:
Short Biography: (If you wish to keep something a secret, feel free to omit those details here, so long as I receive a complete version to look over)
Skills: (If any)
Magic: (If applicable)
Other: (Anything you deem noteworthy that was not previously covered or deserves special mention)
Any questions go in the discussion thread.

Name: Vyncent Harper (Vynce) Age: 23 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: Medium-length, dirty-blond hair, blue eyes, somewhat fair skin (though not pale), wears an eyepatch to cover up an unhealable injury. Personality: Usually pretty stoic and serious; however, when he is around friends, family, and those he cares about, his demeanor changes to one of a more fun-loving person. Usually the first to crack a joke (albeit a terrible one). Short Biography: Vynce was born to a family that one would consider neither rich nor poor. They were able to afford all the necessities in life with some left over to buy luxury items. When Vynce was old enough to walk and explore, he took to his parents garden with great interest. Since he had a knack for botany and herbalism, his parents bought him a small green magestone for his twelfth birthday. His mother was an accomplished green Mage that focused on flora and the healing aspects of plants. His father, however, took solely to the healing side of white magic. On Vyncent's seventeenth birthday, his father gifted him a rather large white magestone, putting his family into debt. A year later, the collectors came and killed his parent for their inability to pay. Vynce hadn't fully mastered how to channel the magic from the white magestone to heal his parents, and they succumbed to their wounds. He attempted to kill them in revenge but failed. As a reminder to him not to cross them again, they allowed him to live, but not before cutting a deep X over his left eye. When they left, he tried to heal it, but his magic was not yet potent enough, and he was left with scars and blindness in the injured eye. Since that day, he vowed never to fail anyone like he felt he did his parents ever again. Skills: botany/herbalism Magic: White (primary; healing only), Green (geomancy mostly (offensive magic), with floramancy here and there (to aid with herbalism)) (may add Blue if allowed more than two types of magic). Other: I'll add anything needed as the story progresses.

Name: Rashid
Age: 35
Gender: male
Race: human
Appearance: Rashid has black hair that he wears very short, with a trimmed beard. He has blue eyes and the left side of his face is heavily scarred. He almost always wears his armor, which consists of a long leather coat under a leather and plate-armoured chest piece with a single shoulder pauldron. A hood usually covers his head with a full helmet underneath to hide his face (and shield it from arrows).
Personality: Rashid is often surly and sarcastic to those around him when he decides to speak at all, displaying a bitter attitude towards the kingdom in general. Behind that lies a keen intelligence and cunning that shows itself in battle.
Short Biography: Rashid was born in a small nomadic family that settled in Cerka when Rashid was a young boy, to flee the invading G’neschi forces. Little work was to be found in the wartorn land however, and Rashid’s father –whose name and face Rashid can no longer remember- was forced to work among the mercenary companies that made up the fighting force of Cerka. Ironically, Rashid’s father did not meet his death with the G’neschi, but in an Atazi raid five years later. Rashid’s mother fell sick and died not long after. With nowhere else to go, the young Rashid found a home among the Coalition forces, raised in his father’s mercenary company, the Drakehound Company. The company’s leader had been good friends with Rashid’s father and did not hesitate to take Rashid in. Rashid grew into the life of a mercenary, and throughout his teens years fought against the G’neschi until he was twenty years old. It was then that the Coalition dissolved, and the Drakehound Company was destroyed in the fighting. Rashid spent the next fifteen years looking for jobs wherever he could find them, as well as watching over his charge: The Drakehound leader’s son.
Skills: Very experienced in the art of war, knows how to use most types of weapon expertly and rather good at infiltration. Also not a bad singing voice.
Magic: n/a
Other: While harboring no particular hatred for the Atazi, he generally views them with distaste for obvious reasons.

Name: Kaiyan Eafur
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Long black hair, almost always tied back. Brown eyes. Very small amount of facial hair on chin/upper lip. Around 6 feet tall. Typically wears a hooded black cloak over a leather chest-piece, leather greaves, and occasionally additional armor depending on the situation. Often carries a longsword in a back scabbard.
Personality: Generally laid-back and calm, however occasionally he acts on impulse and sometimes wants to fight simply to test his own skills. Also tends to show a sarcastic side, which he probably picked up from Rashid.
Short Biography: Kaiyan was born to the leader of the Drakehound Mercenary Company. From an early age he was trained in combat and occasionally in leadership skills so that he could one day take his father's place. At age ten, Kaiyan was ready to receive his first real mission, when the Crown betrayed the Coalition. The resulting conflict lead to the death of Kaiyan's parents and the end of the Company. He was taken in by Rashid, a Drakehound mercenary who had been a friend of his father. Over the past 15 years the two have traveled together, and Rashid has continued to watch over and train Kaiyan.
Skills: Extremely skilled with a sword, though inexperienced in battle. He can also use other weapons, though not as effectively as swords. Also has learned some survival skills and basic medical skills from Rashid.
Magic: N/A
Other: Though he is intelligent enough not to act on it, Kaiyan holds a grudge towards the Crown, and distrusts anyone affiliated with the king.

Name: Evaline “Eva”
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Appearance: Tall and thin (about 5’11’’), but not lanky. She’s got some muscle on her, but is still obviously a Crawler. She’s fortunate enough to have not developed any of the major diseases associated with the Crawl yet, but that’s mostly luck. She usually wears normal clothes – a blouse and leggings with simple shoes, but possesses a set of leather armor. Her eyes are light brown and her hair even lighter (which she keeps long and pulled back). When she wears her leather armor, she also wears a hooded cloak over it. She always carriers her daggers and some throwing knives hidden somewhere.
Personality: If she isn’t enjoying something, she isn’t doing it. There is also a pragmatic side to her that stems from her low beginnings. She tends not to trust people as far as she can throw them, but earn her loyalty and she’ll keep it forever.
Short Biography: Evaline grew up among the Kaddon poor, a street rat in the Crawl. As a Crawler, she turned to thievery as a way to survive. Eventually, it became her way of life and now manages the Thousand Blades Thieves Guild, one of the largest thief guilds. The Thousand Blades are currently involved in a territorial dispute with the Red Blades, which hasn’t yet escalated to a full gang war.
When the King announced his Champion’s Tournament, she entered on impulse. To everyone’s surprise, she emerged victorious and has since been named the King’s Champion, which is a glorified errand girl, but still a position of respect.
Skills: Thievery; sneaking; proficiency with daggers, short blades, and throwing knives; knowledge of basic hand-to-hand combat
Magic: N/A
Other: If her bio seems short, well, that’s because there’s much to her history that will remain a secret for now. It will be revealed as the story progresses.

Name: Kaylean Ga'heal
Age:20
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Average height, about 5'10 with bright red hair and blue-gray eyes. Kind if muscular for his age, but still agile. Wears raggedy versions of whatever clothes fit this region; mostly found clothes or stolen.
Bio: He has no family except his mother with whom he lives. Together, they manage to make just enough money to survive on. It was not always like this however. His father was part of the Coalition and died in the revolt fifteen years ago. Not that he had been much help to him and his mother. His mother had told him that she and his father had met while he was serving in the Coalition and get her pregnant. He had no intention of seeing her again especially now that she was having a child and left to raise the child on her own. Occasionally he was send a small amount of money to her. Apparently his conscience sometimes got the best of him.
He and his mother scraped by with that little money and whatever job she could find while still taking care of Kaylean. They managed until his father's death after which they were on their way to starvation. 5-year-old Kaylean decided he could no longer watch his mother struggle and decided to begin thievery as most of the other children in the same situation. His mother had always encouraged him to be an honest man and work for his money not taking from others who had earned theirs. When he began stealing, she never asked him where the money came from, but he could tell her disappointment when came home every night with his spoils. He became a very successful and was able to steal from some of most secured places (not that there were many) driven solely by his survival instinct. He eventually caught the eye of one of the prominent thief guilds and joined when he was 12 under the name 'Kaz' and always kept his face covered. Unlike other thieves, he could never be proud of what he was doing. The disappointment of his mother sparked a guilt in him that he could not shake.
This continued until Kaylean was 15. He came home crying with blood on his clothes apologizing incoherently to his mother. When she asked him what happened, he would not answer. He only said that he would never steal again. The next day he went out to find a job: any job and avoided any contact with the guild he once belonged to. For the past 5 years he's managed to find odd jobs that, combined with money his mom makes, was able to keep both of them alive.
Skills: thievery(though he refuses to use it except when absolutely necessary), has recently taken up painting portraits around Kaddon that, thanks to his magestone, move like in a movie. Because of this he has become well-known among the police and the citizens as
Magic: a grey magestone is embedded into his right wrist but refuses to say where he acquired it
Other: I'll probably talk about how he got his magestone eventually, revealing it throughout the story.
