Dunno when I'll actually get around to starting this, but I might as well put this thread up for those of you who already have characters in mind. Standard YS character sheet format applies. I'll throw my character sheets up here...eventually.

Name: Rigel Decoris Olympia
Age: 18
Race: Human (Enhanced)
Personality: Rigel is a royal through and through. She believes in her family’s capacity and legitimacy to rules others. Like her father, Rigel believes that because the Olympians have the ability to rule, they also have the responsibility to do so fairly. The common people need guidance and she is someone who may provide that guidance.
Appearance: Normally, she has long blond hair and brown eyes, but while traveling as Rhea, she’s had it cut short and dyed it dark brown and wears green lenses. Her height is harder to hide – as a result of her Olympian heritage, she’s taller than most men, and naturally athletically built.
Bio: Firstborn daughter of Polaris Adamas Olympia, Emperor of the Martian Cosmic Dominion. Her younger brother is Gatria Lenis Olympia, and their late mother was Spica Ignis Olympia. Olympians are kept from the Dominion public for the first eighteen years of their lives, during which they are taught magic, politics, history, and anything else deemed necessary for a future ruler; they are, however, permitted to access the Dominion Cosmic Network (CosNet) and expected to keep abreast of major events. Sometime between their eighteenth and twenty-first years, young Olympians embark on an extended tour of the Dominion – incognito, of course – in order to gain a slower, more personal understanding of the people and places they will one day rule.
This is what Rigel is embarking on, her tour of the Dominion, accompanied by Xeres Tellius, a Martian Knight. She is traveling under the guise of Rhea Eristoles, and Xeres as ‘Uncle Jason’.
Magic: Olympians are expected to understand the fundamentals of magic, even if they do not pursue it later in life – although most do. Part of this is the self-imposed educational curriculum, and part is so that the Emperors and Empresses will be able to operate the various magitech terraform engines.
Arcane – Rigel began her studies with Arcane magic, as many do. She took to it well, finding a certain joy in manipulation energy as she saw fit. She dabbled in other schools, but found them too restricting. Arcane magic is pure, simple, and free. Perhaps because of the genetic enhancements to her mind, she advanced quickly through the teachings, and could currently be considered an ‘expert’ arcanist on the cusp of achieving true mastery.
Space – Spinning off from her desire to use magic to create, Rigel challenged herself to study Spatial magic, which her teachers adamantly advised against. Despite their misgivings, and with the blessing of Emperor Polaris, Rigel was – cautiously – trained in Choramancy. Obviously, Spatial magic must be taught carefully and slowly, as one is essentially warping reality. This suited Rigel just fine as she never had much interest in using Choramancy to teleport or destroy. She’s taken to distortion quite well, but despite her tenacity, she has yet to achieve any success in Creation.
Time – With Arcane under her belt, and Choramancy progressing, Rigel really decided to challenge herself with Time Magic, much to the dismay of her tutors. The desire to learn stemmed from an Olympian drive to continually better herself and to impress her father (who, by the way, was actually very impressed with her already) and not from her previous creative motivations. As such, her progress into Chronomancy is somewhat slower than expected, based upon her previous successes, but not so slow as to frustrate her. In fact, her teachers are rather relieved to have their student progress at a relatively normal speed for once. Rigel has had success with the stasis ability, and moderate success with deceleration.
Cybernetics: Despite genetic alterations, Rigel, like all Olympians, was fitted with cybernetic enhancements to mitigate the atrophying effects of a zero-G environment. Mars itself is in the process of being terraformed and supplied with more earth-like gravity, but the Olympians are expected to tour their dominion, and as such she will spend a significant amount of time in space, and in varying gravitational fields. Other than that, Olympians prefer to ‘naturally’ enhance themselves via genetic modifications, rather than ‘artificial’ means. Despite this, they do not outlaw the practice among their people.
Other: Like all Olympians, Rigel was genetically altered in utero, fixing potential physical and mental disabilities, while providing her with an above-average metabolism, extended lifespan, and exemplary physical attractiveness. Rigel will live longer than the average citizen and be healthier throughout.

Name: Myrddin Grayson
Age: 26
Personality: Myrddin has been in the military since his late teens, and as such his personality tends to reflect it. He's often serious and taciturn with a mild disdain for civilians. Among his squad though, Myrddin opens up a bit, with a sense of humor and a surprisingly creative side (he secretly wants to become something of an author).
Appearance: Tall and slightly tan-skinned, with jet black hair shaved down on the sides and slicked back on the top. He wears a short beard as well. There is a band of runic tattoos that runs along the back of his skull from ear to ear, his NAF Mage's Mark.
Bio: Myrddin was born into the NAF in a small town in Colorado. From childhood, upon the discovery of his magical talents, Myrddin's path was set. When he was old enough, Myrddin was sent to a regional military academy, and then enlisted as a Dragoon in the NAF military. Myrddin's talents with spacial and arcane magics saw him quickly promoted and soon he was in charge of his own squad, or "cabal" of NAF mages. Myrddin served his time in the military and for the last year since then, has been wandering in an attempt to find something else to do with himself.
Magic: Spacial: Myrddin is adept at both manipulating space to conceal himself, and teleportation. He uses both to his advantage, jumping in and out of combat at his leisure. Myrddin has become something of a master of ambush tactics and his squad was famed as infiltrators and saboteurs.
Arcane: While not as well practiced as his spacial abilities, Myrddin uses arcane magic to hammer his opponents with magical barrages (when the need arises) or to enhance his weaponfire.
Name: Kiriya Sona
Age: 20
Personality: cheeky and curious, with a general disdain for authority, Sona gives off the typical impression of a hacker and rebel. Of course, Sona is also terribly intelligent and somewhat lonely, relying on her AI for company most of the time, despite her dislike of the Technomancy practice of creating AI. Appearance: short and lithe with somewhat prominent Japanese features and green eyes.. Sona has black hair (dyed red most of the time) , partially pulled back into a long pony-tail with the rest cut short to just below her ears.
Bio: Sona was born in Kyoto to one of the OCU's most prominent technomancy clans. She grew up nurtured to one day become the Kiriya family. Sona was exceptionally bright and took to technomancy happily. She grew up isolated from other children and instead made her friends among the Kiriya's AI. As she entered adolescence, Sona sought the world outside her clan through the internet (very easy to do given her technomancy) and developed her skills as a hacker and programmer. As her studies advanced, she discovered the secret behind the creation of AI, that tortured spirits were bound to computers and utterly remade as servants of humans. This, among other reasons, eventually led to Sona fleeing the Kiriya clan, taking along Mikki her best friend and personal AI. With nowhere to go, Sona entered the OCU's seedy underbelly and found work as a contract technomancer for Sapporo Securities, one of the OCU's top PMC's. After a year of that Sona left, and left Earth altogether. She began working as an information broker on Arcadia, a Corporate City.
Magic: Technomancy. Sona is a talented technomancer adept in offensive sabotage and surveillance. She uses one AI, her friend Mikki to help her with her powers. Enhancements: While not upgraded enough to be fully considered a cyborg, Sona has her share of cybernetic upgrades: enhanced vision and brain implants made to work in compatibility with her technomancy, as well as several military-grade implants from her time in Sapporo Securities. The result is the ability to move superhumanly quick and silently. Sona proclaims herself to be something of a cyber ninja, despite Mikki's claims that there is no such thing.

Name: Miguel Alborán Navarro
Age: 26
Race: Human
Personality: Miguel is a fun-loving guy and is very passionate when it comes to many things. He is very intelligent and picks up languages easily, and his passion for learning has allowed him to become fluent in four languages and maintain an advanced level in a few others. He is also extremely loyal, always looking out for his friends. He's also somewhat of a hopeless romantic.
Appearance/Description: Miguel is of average height at about six feet tall, weighing 180 lbs. He has brown hair with natural blond highlights that's cut short on the sides, slightly longer on the top, and flipped up at the front. He has dark brown eyes, and he's always sporting stubble.
He got the tattoo on his right arm not long before going into the military, and the one on his left arm is his mage mark. His combat gear is sturdy enough to protect him, but flexible enough to allow him his full range of movement during combat. His OOC gear still offers some protection should he need it, and includes many pouches and pockets that contain magical sundries.
He has a slight accent when he speaks in English due to the three distinct linguistic influences on his speech while learning: American English, British English (from his parents when they learned English back in Europe), and Peninsular Spanish (again from his parents and his family back in Spain).
Bio: Miguel was born to David Alborán Jiménez and María Navarro Oliva in Málaga, Andalusia, Spain. His parents, both mages, served in the EU military for the required six years. However, they faced many trials and tribulations due to being mages. Members of their unit who were also part of the Order continuously bullied them and caused issues with them. Eventually, their required time was up, and they were able to live (mostly) in peace. Miguel was born not long after, and around his second birthday, he began to manifest magic. David and María immediately moved to the NAF, hoping to spare Miguel the trouble of having to deal with the Order. He went through the military academies like all other NAF mage children had to, and served under Myrddin in his cabal. The two ended their military service together, and Miguel tries to remain in contact with Myrddin as much as possible. He begins on Arcadia with Myrddin, looking for jobs.
Magic:
Illusion – His first of three preferred types of magic. Capable of changing the entire appearance of his cabal or himself on a whim, invisibility, psychic attacks, images, and phantasms, his is considered a master illusionist by many. He has mastered illusion magic to the point of being able to make his phantasms real enough to be tangible, allowing them to do physical damage to foes or create structures for him or his cabal to use, such as bridges, walls, and other such things.
Arcane – His second of three preferred types of magic. Launching barrages of bolts made from pure magic, arcane blasts/explosions, and creating prisons for his foes made from pure magical energies, he has many options for magical attack against his targets. He is also adept with weapon conjuration, normally conjuring one of three weapons: a longsword with a shield for close quarters, a dagger for stealth, and a pistol for ranged combat.
Music – His third of three preferred types of magic. He learned this type of magic from his parents, who learned it from their parents. Music magic runs in his blood, and he uses it to great effect, singing many traditional Spanish (and some specifically Andalusian) songs that carried a type of magic in them before his family took to the School. His Plucking magic is able to move large crowds of people to action. Though all he needs is his voice, he is known to also play the guitar as a focus for his magic.
Time – He's rather adept at creating time fluctuations in small areas which he calls "wells". He can also create a wave of time that goes out a moderate distance in a line before returning to him, putting enemies into stasis for a few seconds while speeding up his comrades' actions.
Spacial – Used for short-range, self-only teleportation, or “blinking” and the creation of portals over moderate distances, only being able to keep one set of portals up at one time.
Cybernetics: None
Other: He is fluent in Spanish and English; advanced in Portuguese, French, Italian, and High Martian; and novice in Russian.

Name: Xeres Tellius
Age: 57
Race: Human (baseline)
Personality: Xeres is somewhat of a grandfatherly type around Rigel. He never had children so she is something like a granddaughter to him – a standoffish, distantly related, royal granddaughter. To his men, he is polite and friendly, if sharp and terse. Around strangers (especially foreigners) he is overbearingly suspicious. Martian citizens are one thing – he is wary around them, but he can at least assume loyalty to Mars. Around foreigners, he cannot know, and assumes ulterior motives and underhandedness. I suppose ‘moderately xenophobic’ isn’t an inaccurate description.
Appearance: Although nearing sixty (still not exactly young in this age of technomagic miracles) Xeres has the body of a thirty-year-old, if not the face. He generally comes across as someone you wouldn’t want to approach without a good reason. He’s an angular, blocky man, perfectly suited to the military life. Traditionally, he’s kept his face shaven, but has consented to let it grow out during the tour. His hazel eyes are hidden behind blue contacts, and his salt-and-pepper hair is died a nice brown to match his ‘niece’ Rhea. Bio: Xeres is a Martian Knight, a man in such high service as to protect the royal Olympian family themselves. Xeres rose from relatively humble origins to become one of the most skilled Martian Knights in the Dominion. When Rigel was born, he was assigned to be her personal Knight. He travels under the pseudonym “Uncle Jason” which is something of a tradition in the Knighthood. The first Knight to accompany an Olympian on their tour was named Jason, and affectionately called Uncle Jason. In the days before personal Knights were assigned, he accompanied several young Olympians, and the name stuck around.
Magic:
Shadow – Xeres is an undisputed master of Shadow Magic, able to manipulate shadows without any motions or verbal commands. He also is able to completely cloak himself in shadows without setting off most sensors. Xeres feels at home in the darkness, recognizing that more darkness encompasses the universe than light. Xeres is also known to hide extra weapons in shadows. Xeres’ mastery of Shadow qualified for the Abyss Corps. of the military, but he preferred the more public life of a Knight.
Warding – Of course, Xeres is a master at creating and manipulating magical shields. It comes with Knighthood, with being charged with the defense of the Olympians.
Cybernetics: Xeres has the standard zero-G anti-atrophy implants that all soldiers and traveling citizens get. Aside from that, he has no cybernetics to speak of.
Other: While not a fan, exactly, Xeres maintains a daily regimen of performance-enhancing supplements that all soldiers are ‘encouraged’ to follow. His is especially rigid due to his age and status as a Knight (especially one guarding the Princess). The pills (and occasional injection) keep him as fit as he was twenty five years ago, although they put considerable strain on his body. Missing a dose would likely result in a debilitating fatigue.
Xeres is skilled in CQC, is trained in a number of firearms, and particularly handy with bladed energy weapons.

Name: Ilizarov Tyutchev (Илизаров Тю́тчев) Age: 37 Personality: Varies as much as his level sobriety. He used to be a pretty optimistic person, obnoxiously so. Appearance: Bio: He was always a free spirit, and most importantly, a dreamer, something that would be valuable for the Coalition, as well as his technomancy. This drive for life is what drew fellow Coalition scientist, Vera Volkova, to him. Vera, unlike Ilizarov, was not as free spirited or outgoing. She was a very focused person and often threw herself into her work for very long periods of time. While she would be hard at work, Ilizarov would often watch quietly from the other side of the room. As he waited for her to pull herself from her work, he would always think to himself, "If only the soul could say things without words." This phrase carried him through most of their relationship, and eventually, his life after her death. They were experimenting with telekinetic communication for the new cybernetic upgrade in the works for the military. Ilizarov and Vera were placed in a machine on opposite ends of a room and were told to communicate with only their minds. Ilizarov, due to his technomancy, was able to complete his part of the objective immediately. When Vera struggled, the overseers began to prod Ilizarov to concentrate harder and possible strengthen the connection enough for her thoughts to get through. After a serge from Ilizarov, her stare became blank and all brain activity ceased. Her thoughts were lost within the technology, and presumably, her mind. The technology was deemed far too dangerous for further human trials and Ilizarov was given his marching orders from the military. He returned home and did the best he could to care for Vera, as she was entirely bedridden. He searched for ways to bring her mind back from what little bit of the experiment he was able to steal or recreate, however, to no avail. He joined the mafia as a last resort and was given somewhat of a limitless supply of lab space, equipment, and state of the art care for Vera. The only catch was he must manufacture weapons and tech for the mafia as a priority. This lasted until one day when he remembered the phrase he used to mutter to Vera under his breath. "If only the soul could say things without words." He ceased attempting to salvage her mind from the equipment, and vowed to reach her soul instead. Philosophers had pondered for centuries if the mind and the soul were indeed separate, and Ilizarov believed he had the answer. He devoted more and more time to his newest invention, a set of nanobots. These nanobots was a primitive version of tech used to grant motion to paraplegics that he converted into an antenna similar to their previous shared experiment, but this time her entire body and soul were what he hoped to communicate with. His best swarm of nanobots, enough to take hold of every major part of the body, was finally complete. He dubbed the entity, Akasha, and was about to inject Vera with them. His mafia overseers, tired of his failed deadlines, pushed their way into the lab and unceremoniously broke Ilizarov's legs and murdered Vera in front of him. He was discarded on the other side of the city with nothing more than a half empty bottle of liquor the overseers used to pour on his broken legs, and the syringe with Akasha hidden in his pocket. These two objects would be his only companions for the coming decade. Magic: technomancy Enhancements: alcohol tolerance ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Tio Eraint Age: 19 Appearance: Bio: Tio grew up on a farm in middle America. The area was not known to produce many mages, and one of the few known mages for the area was Tio's father. Lieutenant Beli Eraint was a level headed father, but always pushed Tio towards an illustrious military career like his own. For a mage there was, of course, little choice in joining, but Beli hoped his son would enjoy the military and go beyond his six year required service the same way he had. Tio grew up with a love for the legends his father would tell and had an idealized sense of how military life would be. Military schooling came easy for him during his teens, and he excelled in all his courses. He was on the fast track to follow in his father's footsteps, until he was finally deployed. His first week on base was a dream come true, however that was before any missions had been given to his outfit. Mission after mission, Tio saw the horrors of war, but most importantly, the horrors of the NAF itself. Glory hunting comes at a price, most notably at the cost of civilians. Tio became confused about his continued position in this war and his stance as a member of the NAF entirely. Magic: Elemental (fire), Arcane, Soul Enhancements: standard NAF military enhancements that he obtained while in training and during his service and carries a plain metal staff with him as his primary weapon

Name: Kaja Kamińska Age: 23 Race: Human Personality: Bitchy, rebellious Appearance: Bio: Kaja and her family grew up in Eastern Europe during a time of turmoil between the mages and non magic users. Warsaw serves as a focal point for the majority of civil and political disarray for the EU. It was hit the hardest when the outbursts from non magic users turned violent. Kaja's parents were leaders in the movement against the mages and organized the largest and most televised protests in the country. They were household names across the EU. As a child, Kaja was aware of the platform her parents stood on, but never gave it much thought herself. She accepted that mages were terrible people, until her best friend and neighbor, Aniela Wysocka, finally attained her powers when they were in elementary school. Kaja's parents found out and forced Aniela and her family out of Warsaw. Kaja never forgave her parents for this, and began to work with a resistance movement in underground Warsaw when she was in her teens. She spent years honing her skills as a thief and political mastermind, using the influence of the resistance to halt new laws against the mages from being made, all without her parents ever knowing that they were on opposites ends of the civil war. A large impact was made in favor of the mages in the EU, but it could not undo the work of Kaja's parents. The resistance began to get anxious at their continued involvement and believed they could not continue their work, despite obvious orders from Kaja to stand down. They went elsewhere for leadership, using a list of evacuees that they compiled over the years before Kaja had taken control of the resistance. They returned with Aniela, who was outraged at the life her and her family had been forced to live in exile by the hands of Kaja's parents. She led an assassination attempt at a rally at the capitol, which led to both of Kaja's parents to become comatose, and they have not woken up since. Aniela fled when she learned that Kaja was the former leader of the resistance, and Kaja vowed to chase her, no matter the cost. Since the attempt on her parent's life Kaja resorted back to her parent's platform and became a magehunter. To facilitate her search for Aniela she became a bounty hunter and worked for any country or organization that would pay her. She has since moved her parents to the outer colonies, far enough out of the reach of the EU that no one would recognize her parents and she could leave them in the care of medical professionals while she continued to work and search for Aniela. Magic: none Cybernetics: none, but she does use tech and various exo parts. Other: her weapons of choice are throwing knives, various blades, or modern sabers.

Post by Calefrun on Aug 10, 2015 20:18:53 GMT -5
Name: Kayla Efrun Age: 27 Personality: In her younger years, Kayla always had a gentle, but serious and no-nonsense attitude. Years of travelling the multiverse with her twin brother served to help her lighten up a bit, but between the two she still acts as the voice of reason. Appearance: Bio: Kayla and her twin brother, Cale, were born on a world incomprehensibly far from Mundus Veritas or Mundus Magica. Seven years ago, the actions of a power-hungry monster pulled the pair from their own world into another. During their quest to stop that monster, they encountered a mage from whom they learned magic which would allow them to freely travel between worlds. The twins set out to prevent the catastrophic damage that the monster's actions could potentially cause on countless worlds. Two years after having parted ways with their master they find themselves on yet another strange world... Magic: Kayla and her brother both make use of otherworldly magic unlike that of this world, though some of it can be compared to the known classifications. Healing: Much of Kayla's youth was spent studying a type of magic that allows her to heal allies and offer them some protection from harm. It can be considered very similar to Light Magic, but without an offensive element. Shield Conjuration: The mage that instructed the twins was a master of a type of magic that allowed him to create weaponry from nothing. Cale and Kayla both learned to use this magic during their travels with the mage, but each developed their own personal style. Kayla decided to focus on defense, and is able to create sturdy shields to defend herself and others. Her usage of this type of magic can be compared to Warding Magic. Necromancy: Kayla's necromancy functions more or less the same as the necromancy known to this world, though perhaps with some additional abilities. She dislikes this type of magic, and only learned it out of necessity on the last world that the she and her brother visited. As they departed that world, she vowed only to use this power if left with no other option. Other: Though she has undergone a great deal of magical training, Kayla has also trained herself physically. She capable of moving quickly and silently, and has respectable skill with blades and throwing weapons. Name: Cale Efrun Age: 27 Personality: Seeming at times like his sister's polar opposite, Cale was always loudmouthed and impulsive. His tendency to try turning everything into a joke or some kind of game frequently landed him in trouble, and Kayla would always be the one who had to bail him out. Like Kayla, his personality also mellowed out as he got older, though he is still by far the more headstrong and reckless of the pair. Appearance: (Same hair, eye, and skin color as Kayla) Bio: Same as Kayla's Magic:Sword Conjuration: While Kayla practiced defensive conjuration, Cale decided to instead focus on offense. He is able to create and, to a degree, control a multitude of swords of varying shapes and sizes. Illusion Magic: Though he learned it on the previous world he visited, Cale's illusion magic is almost exactly like that found in Mundus Veritas. He doesn't much care for it, as he prefers to face enemies in what he considers a "fair fight," but he will reluctantly admit that it can come in handy in a pinch. Other: Seven years ago, Cale was training in the hopes of becoming a powerful warrior and adventurer. As a result, he is very skilled with most types of weapons, though swords are his preference. Name: Mariko Age: She isn't sure, but she appears to be a young adult. Personality: She isn't so sure about this, either. She'd like to believe that she would be a reasonably kind person with many friends, if there were ever a time when she could focus on something more than her own survival. Appearance: Though she can't remember where she came from, Mariko can tell that she is very clearly Japanese. Her hair is definitely black, but her eye color seems oddly inconsistent. They will look a certain way for some time, but she will occasionally see her reflection and find that they have changed to an entirely different color. Bio: [Redacted]Magic: None that she knows of. She assumes that her eyes are affected by some form of magic, though as far as she can tell she isn't able to control them. Other: At times, most often when under large amounts of stress, she is able to see... something. She isn't entirely sure what it is, but she suspects that it's related to her special eyes.

Name: Prathis’il’khan’Suul

Name: Elsa Devereux
Age: 26
Personality: Elsa is something of a pessimist and a cynic, after her long years in the NAF special forces. Her cheerful moments come from the scant time spent with her daughter Lisandra.
Appearance: Blonde hair shorn into a pixie cut, with blue eyes. Elsa is EU-born, immigrating to the NAF and forced to serve her time in its military despite her lack of enthusiasm to do so. Her Mage Mark is a series of runes tattooed around her neck like a choker.

Elsa is given to rebellious behavior, and her actions have nearly gotten her drummed out of service several times, most notably when she became pregnant with her daughter. Despite her skills as a pilot, she was transferred from unit to unit until landing in Myrddin’s Marauders, where she found a place she belonged as the team’s Wanzer pilot. After the team disbanded and Myrddin left the NAF, Elsa found she had little idea of how to be a civilian. Despite her dislike of the military, it had become her life, and with a daughter to provide for, she elected to stay in the NAF military.
Magic: Elemental magic, focusing on fire aspect attacks. Spacial Magic: Like all of the Marauders, Elsa is familiar with Blinking spells.

Appearance: Rashid has very short black hair, a goatee, and brown eyes, his Mage’s Mark a runic serpent on his shoulder, barely visible against his brown skin.
Bio: Rashid was no exception to the NAF’s draft of mages into its military, but unlike most he joined with enthusiasm. He’d grown up on stories of adventures among the stars, fighting against the “evils” that plagued the NAF. Despite having been disillusioned of his childhood notions, Rashid remains an optimist, electing to see the bright side of his career in the NAF. His will and skills with communications arrays and enchantments landed him a spot as an officer, slated for command of a Colony outpost. He declined, instead requesting to join the Marauders. After the disbandment of the task force, He chose to stay with the NAF, in part to stay with his teammate Elsa to quote “keep that girl from scowling too much. She needs someone around to lighten her up.”
Magic: Enchantment: Rashid is a hacker and a tinkerer that makes ammunitions and armor upgrades of magiteck quality. Spacial: Rashid is capable of the Spacial Blinking spells required o the Marauders.
Name: Calvaro Caim
Age: 30
Personality: Caim is a warrior to his core. He lives for the thrill of battle and slaying his opponents. While to most he appears to be nothing more than a mad killer, he follows his own code of honor. Despite his job, he retains only a minimal amount of faith.
Appearance: Caim is light-skinned, with a short beard and dark red hair. Caim wears simple black tunics when not in his armor or Wanzer. Bio: When he was a boy he was orphaned by a mad blood mage that destroyed most of his home village. He was sent to an orphanage run by the Order Church. From there he joined the clergy and discovered in himself a righteous hatred for magic. He tolerates the mages of the Order, but only just. He rose through the ranks of the Order Militant as a swordsman and a pilot, discovering a talent for Wanzer combat, a talent he uses to be an utter terror in the Order’s violent crusades.
Name: Varona Rokov
Age: 19
Personality: Varona is a very bored person. In most situations she lacks enthusiasm or interest, coasting through life until something in particular strikes her fancy. When that happens, Varona becomes unshakable in her interest. She is a prodigy of technology and a quick learner when the mood strikes her.
Appearance: Varona has chin-length silver hair and cybernetic amber eyes. She wears a skintight, partially armored suit and a grey tattered camo-cloak.
Bio: Varona is a technomancer born into the life of a mafia family, growing up in Ukraine. She did not show talent with magic until her late teens, and it earned her a spot as a high ranking member of the Rokov Family powerstructure. Despite this, Varona often shirks her duties in favor of freelance mercenary work, citing it as “more interesting”.
Magic: Technomancy: Varona is a budding technomancer that specializes in the use of drones. She has earned the nickname “Gray Raven” through her use of multiple AI to control a swarm of small flying drones to attack targets.

Race: Ahv
Personality: He's very warm and caring, and he will normally let loose around friends and family. He is also fiercely loyal to his friends, family, and comrades. That's not to say that he is distrustful or really wary of others. He's very nice to pretty much everyone he meets. Currently a little distrustful of humans due to their attacks near the dig site.

Bio: Vyndaen's parents sent him off to a Light Temple early in his life, hoping he would turn into one of the most noteworthy healers of the current generation.
Magic:
Light – Vyndaen has mastered holy magic to a level that would allow him to bring someone back from the brink of death (that is, just before needing Soul Magic to bind their soul to this plane of existence). Not only has he mastered the healing aspects of the school, he has also mastered its offensive aspects, able to conjure motes of holy fire and light to smite his foes.
