(Besides, with sixteen gyms and (how many?) people and ten required badges for each to get into the Elite Four, having a traveling group sounds like a good idea to me. Not everyone will get the same badges. For example, Wes might get the Gaia Badge (Rock/Ground), but Michael might not, but Michael might get the Locust Badge (Bug), and Wes might not. That way we can get the group around to all the gyms.)
