(C wut i did with the title?)
As this is one of the most popular and successful pieces of interactive fiction on the site, this will be the first to have a running summary, courtesy of yours truly. I expect some help, of course, but as this was my idea I'll be putting it into the action to save you all the trouble. Starting in several hours I'll be going through EVERY F***ING PAGE OF POKEMON NOVIEN and summarizing it. I would expect a thank you or two, but I'm glad to do it and, besides, it's for my own personal gain so I don't repeatedly get lost. So, yea...Expect your story summary soon.

Basically, people met, people challenged people to battles, other things happened and Teams took over the world, then the Teams turned against each other and destroyed each other, then a month passed, people fought the Teams, the Teams lost and were destroyed again, and the people were free again.
On to the second season: The circus is in town! Woo! And people are going around, fighting gym leaders.
But I'll let you (Austin) do the page-by-page summary anyway. lol

Okay, so this never really got running, so I'm going to do like I did for Amnesia Journeys and write summaries for every five pages of the story. Since Season 1 is done, I'm going to start with Season 2 and go back to Season 1 when I'm done. Because I WANT THIS STORY REVIVED.

We do ten page summaries now. GET WITH IT.
Though I am surprised that none were written for this one, and I've forgotten most of the story, so it would be greatly appreciated.

Well, Novien isn't quite long enough for ten-page summaries. At least, Season 2 isn't.
Anyway, here's the summary of the first five pages of Fire, Ice, and the Red Sun.
Season 2 takes place three months after the Battle of Burlain from Season 1, in which Paladin, the team of random citizens of Novien formed to counter Team Phoenix's efforts, defeated Phoenix and freed Novien. Phoenix's attacks have subsided, and Paladin has disbanded in order to prevent an unwanted rise to power.
The Red Sun Circus is in Ipronen City, where Daylyn will introduce the legendary Leamnin, a rare Fire-Ice Pokémon. But Leamnin is in danger: Phoenix has not given up. The villainous team of the Novien region has only backed off to create a false sense of security so that they can unleash a surprise attack. And what better way to do that than by kidnapping the rarest Pokémon in Novien. After doing some subtle side missions to prepare for the final operation, Eric and Yolanda head to the Silph Co. Dome, where the circus is being held.
Meanwhile, Tyler, Wes, and Michael all set out on their separate journeys to earn gym badges: Tyler to the Urein City Gym [Normal, led by Kaz], Wes to the Eryio City Gym [Flying, led by Baylee], and Michael to the Hivelum City Gym [Bug, led by Kallie, Michael's sister]. Tyler loses to Kaz, but he is still awarded the Mirror Badge for his impressive efforts (he almost beat Kaz but lost to his last Pokémon, Blade [Zangoose]). Wes, on the other hand, beats Baylee in a tough but relatively quick battle, winning the Wing Badge. Meanwhile, Michael is down to Xero [Waspear] and Scar [Grovyle] against Kallie's Dusie (Medusa) [Vespiquen] and hasn't finished his battle yet.
A NEW CHARACTER APPROACHES! Peter, along with Leonardo [Smeargle] and Soren [Natu], has arrived at the Burlain Wall. Leonardo apparently has the ability to see and draw the future, and he had drawn a picture that led Peter to the Wall. Leonardo then draws another image that leads Peter to the Silph Co. Dome in an attempt to stop Team Phoenix before they can follow through on whatever their plot might be.
We see a brief glimpse of the League Champion at the beginning of page 2, in which the Champion and his Irusion attempt to kill the challenger's Alakazam. But the trainer, in an extreme act of loyalty, takes Irusion's Hyper Beam himself, protecting his Alakazam. The Champion is clearly a cruel and merciless fighter, but that is all that is heard of him for the rest of these five pages.
As these events are going on, Calefrun, a member of Team Phoenix, has slipped into Team Magma's base to steal a very valuable piece of technology. But while he is there, he runs into Zac. Not a problem, though, because he defeats him easily. Calefrun leaves ¥ògûrt, his Empoleon, to guard Zac while he goes to snag what is later implied to be part of Shadow Pokémon creator. But he is confronted by five Magma grunts and is forced into, not only a Pokémon battle, but a physical fight as well. We hear nothing more about Calefrun for a while. But Zac wakes up after being knocked unconscious by ¥ògûrt, and he finds the Magma base littered with fainted Pokémon and unconscious Magma grunts. So we can assume that, as I said in Season One in the epic post that nearly ended Novien, "The attack was successful."
Meanwhile, a new character named Kurt appeared and did some stuff, but then he disappeared and hasn't been heard from since page 2.
Meanwhile meanwhile, Nicole catches a Flareon and names it Flamethrower. Meanwhile meanwhile meanwhile, Wes witnesses an Arcanine and an Electabuzz beating each other up. The two Pokémon are broken up by an unknown Pokémon, which Wes catches and names Lithnin. Then an earthquake happens and he falls into an underground chamber/temple thing and finds some necklace that apparently makes him special.
Serilay, a former member of Team Aqua, shows up at the Silph Co. Dome for the circus, albeit unwillingly, where he spots Eric and Yolanda. Stuff happens, but he proceeds to do absolutely nothing about any of it. In fact, he isn't even mentioned for the rest of the first five pages, except in one OOC post a page later.
And as if I haven't used enough meanwhiles already, the new character Bob ran into Asaph, another new character who fell from the sky on a flying Farfetch'd. They walk off toward the Silph Co. Dome. And just in time.
Everyone seems to arrive at the Dome just in time to witness Team Phoenix's kidnapping of the legendary Leamnin. Asaph attacks the Phoenix airship that appears out of nowhere, but Phoenix counters by unleashing a giant Shadow Aerodactyl, which they had supposedly developed with the aid of the piece of the Shadow Pokémon creator that Calefrun had stolen from Magma. The random citizens put up a good fight, but in the end... ah, who am I kidding? Phoenix left them in their dust! They got away with Leamnin, like taking candy from a baby.
This whole time, Michael's battle with Kallie is still going on while the authors of the story argue whether to continue Novien, restart it, or cancel it. They still haven't reached a conclusion yet.
