the more I think about it, the more of its inherent brilliance I see. The fact that there are aliens is almost a side not to the detailed insight to human society. Especially when clashed with that of teh Race.

I think what I was trying to say was something along the line of: this series is actually a deep look at human culture. But only so because of the contrast with the culture of the Race.

I noticed something today. Whenever Nessereff(?) is mentioned, she is usually walking her tsiongi. Whenever it walks, it tries to catch birds, but they always fly away. It is then described (ever time) as looking like it had been cheated.
that right there is the whole story of the Race on Tosev 3.

No, actually. I was sitting in study hall, and I got to another Nessereff section, and wondered 'Why does he mention her walking Orbit every time?' So, I reread it a couple of times, and then the phrase involving "cheated" clicked and I was like HOLY SHIT THIS MAN IS A GENIUS!!
Also, whenever characters (Moishe Russie, Rance Auerbach) talk about how they kow smoking is bad, but refuse to kick the habit, it sort of parallels the Race's ginger addiction, but to a lesser extent.
Is this on the Turtle Wiki?

Its never outright stated, but I think its meant to be obvious.
Like when Sam Yeager discovers that President Warren ordered the strike on the Colonization FLeet. No one ever said it unitl later, but it was prety obvious what he found out.
