Description: Thick, mangled hair; brings to mind a wolf, or a wild man. He wears only pants, pairs of which he steals, because he owns no clothes of his own. He wears no shoes, and no shirt. Living in the wild for years has resulted in him being hyper-alert, sensitive, and fierce.
History: His parents were killed by Maximilion Padat, a man know as the "Thunder Man", a mercenary who possessed powers of the electric variety. His father had once been a mercenary who ran across Padat in several jobs, developing a rivalry between the two. One night, both were in a pub. Padat had had too much to drink and challenged Carter's father to a duel, to which he declined, refusing to fight and intoxicated man. Padat took this as an insult and attacked the other, not bothering to use his powers. Padat was easily overpowered, and then thrown out of the bar. Humiliated, Padat sulked away and vanished for fifteen years.
When he came back to repay his humiliation, Carter was 13. Padat first killed Carter's wife, before moving on Carter himself. His father sacrificed himself so that Carter could escape. Satisfied, Padat did not give chase to Carter. Out in the wilderness, Carter let the anger for Padat fester until it became a poison that consumed him. He stole two newborn wolf pups, which he raised. Having taken a special interest in the beasts, he knew enough about raising such wild canines. While not imprinted upon Carter, they grew into him and accepted him as a fellow wolf, as alpha. In contrast, Carter developed many wolf-like qualities himself, including his pack mentality, and physical strength.
Once the wolves were of a sufficient age, Carter return to civilization. Friga, and Fenrir (the wolves) accompanied him. He learned the location of the Thunder Man, hunted him down, and destroyed him. Satisfied, he fell in an unsteady existence. An urdan legend, and street rat, Carter wandered here and there across Awesome Land with Friga and Fenrir, learning recently of the disposition of Leon, and the succession of his sister, Aurora. Politics were never of any importance to him before, but the more he thought about it, the more he disliked the idea of someone else telling him what to do.
With the death of his parents avenged, Maximilion Padat killed, Carter turned his unending fury on the Grand Imperatrix, and her Imperial Army...

History: Thomas is a good friend of General Bara and has known him for years. They used to serve together in the old army before Bara met Eiddwen. Bara left the army to marry her and soon had Galiana afterwards. They remained friends, and Thomas was appointed as Galiana's guardian. He was to watch over her if anything happened to any of them. Eiddwen died a few years back, and Bara and Thomas joined the army again. Bara became a general, and Thomas remained a soldier. He continues to watch over Galiana. He often refers to her as Eiddwen by mistake.

She moves gracefully but powerfully, and she's not afraid to growl. For her it's shoot first, ask questions later.
History: Cybele has always been the wild child. Her father was a warrior, and often hunted. He would often bring home lion cubs for Cybele to play with, and she would keep them until they had grown. She learned their ways and hunted with her father. She learned to move like a cat and what to do when in the presence of a beast. After a while, she became bored with hunting lions. She left her father with his hunting and set off to find something new to occupy her time. She really doesn't care about much. She only cares about getting from point A to point B.

Personality: To most people, David comes off as very serious. Behind the scenes he's far more active than his expressions usually reveal. If you were to ask him why, he would explain that he is usually so focused on what he is doing at the moment. Since the time he was a child, he was naturally very competitive, and full of energy. He can work for hours on end without a second thought, doing the most monotonous tasks. However, if he finds himself with nothing to do, he often gets restless within minutes.
History: As a child growing up, David had committed himself to his studies. He had never excelled at sports, always being a little behind the growth of the rest of his class. He played every now and then for fun, if for no other reason than to kill some energy. He always had plenty of that. In school he would sit there and read his text book at the same time he listened to the teachers lecture, taking in twice as much information, switching between the two as necessary. He heard the "Bookworm" name plenty of times throughout highschool, as he always had to have something to do while he listened to the lessons.
As he entered college he dove in to the medical field, studying countless hours the chemical and biological formulas to pass all of the prerequisite courses to be accepted to a graduate school. After another eight years of hard work in medical school, he was given his liscense to practice medicine, and began a residency at a local hospital as an anesthesiologist. The attention to detail and long demanding hours were enough to keep him busy and happy all day.
Almost weeks after he began working at the hospital, he received a phone call from his father. The call began with a statement that David laughed at: "David, we need you to help us.. Fight a war." After a few hours of slow progression from disbelief to acceptance, David returned home, quitting his job at the hospital. He began his training reluctantly, but was instantly enveloped in the studies. It was as if he had been waiting all of his life to practice these arts, being able to spend twelve hours a day honing his skills, expending vast amounts of energy.
Class: Sorcerer
Skills: David's magic is mainly defensive and supportive. When it comes to fighting, he can hold his own against one opponent, but will find himself overpowered if even two gang up on him. He has enough energy to keep a fight going for hours if necessary, and has become very skilled at controlling how much energy he spends doing various tasks. Because of his attention to detail and medical training, he can often find weak spots in enemies, and uses his magic in unconvential methods.
Blood Tap: One of his very few offensive abilities, David can cause his enemies to lose their ability to stop bleeding. Depending on the noteworthy cuts and wounds on the target, they can bleed out in seconds or minutes. Unless they find a way to replace the proteins in their blood, or the spell is stopped, the blood will flow out in regular streams.
Energy Transfer: When one of David's allies is falling short of breath and losing strength in battle, especially when using a lot of spells, David can transfer any amount of his remaining energy to them. By transfering just the right amount, David has found that he can keep people fighting for hours, using small amounts of his energy to hold up what is left of the fighters energy, to keep them just out of the point of faltering weapons and weakness. One of the key points to this ability is that he can use it before an allie uses an ability of their own, to bolster the strength of that ability. David can also pour energy in to various items, and can store it there for certain periods depending on the item's properties.
Regeneration: David has the ability to help a wounded friend recover in a fraction of the time. Depending on how much energy he puts in to it, their wounds can be healed at varying speeds. This can also be used to stop the bleeding in a wound for a very small amount of energy. If he expends larger amounts, cuts can be expelled and arteries can be restored in a moments notice.
Morale: By interfacing with any living thing on the level of its spirit, David can expend fair amounts of energy to dampen and bolster their morale. This can cause enemies to lose hope and run, or allies to get up when all is lost.
Energy Drain: If David gets a hold of an enemy with his hands, he can drain their energy to the point of near death. This temporarily boosts his own reserves as well as sap the enemy's to the point of unconcsiousness.
Weapon: David's weapon of choice in a battle is a green and gold hilted Katana that has been passed down through his line of hunters. The Katana is very light, making it ideal for him to use at a moment's notice.
Technique: David will start the battle defensively, evaluating the situation while supporting his allies where possible. As the situation settles out, he will move in and help out his more desperate allies. Due to his great amount of focus and energy, David can do simple abilities while in combat, such as blood tap, or drain, but will find it hard to use more complicated ones while focusing on fighting.

His facial structure is very narrow, even gaunt, giving the appearance of somebody who eats neither well nor often. The perpetual dark bags under his eyes serve only to reinforce this illusion. The rest of Ehpik’s body follows the trend set by his face- he has little enough flesh on his bones that one could easily mistake him for the victim of starvation. This is not to say he is unhealthy or incapable of physical activity, however. While he may not have the muscles of an athlete, or for that matter of most adult humans, he is quite capable of functioning in combat. It’s just likely that he’ll have a bit harder time of things than most others. A dark sweatshirt and a pair of tattered blue jeans are the order of the day for Ehpik: he doesn’t do well with having to dress formally and will in fact go to quite a bit of effort in order to avoid doing so. The only ornamentation to decorate his body is a small sapphire ring he wears on his right index finger. This ring is an heirloom that has been passed from father to son in his family for quite literally hundreds of years. Ehpik is not certain of its powers or abilities, but fully intends to divine them at first opportunity.

He has few friends but those few who count among that number he trusts implicitly; to gain Ehpik’s confidence is difficult, but once gained it is difficult to lose. Whenever he comes across a new topic he finds interesting he dives into his studies with a single mindedness those around him find more than slightly startling. It is in large part due to this drive that he has such a fragile physique- it isn’t uncommon for Ehpik to forget to eat for several days on end while engrossed in whatever has most recently drawn his fascination.
History: Ehpik maintained only average grades in highschool- largely due to the fact that all his studying was done on subjects for which he didn’t actually have classes. In college he majored in World History, not due to any particular interest, but rather because he just happened to be having a History Phase at that point in his life. After graduating he wandered around for several years looking for some way to support himself and his admittedly expensive habit, until at long last he found a used book store for sale. In that moment he saw a bright future for himself, full of thousands of books which he actually had a reason to buy other than “I want to read that.” He spent about five years living a blissful life in his little shop, making a decent living, venturing out only when forcibly removed by his customers-turned-friends. Then the Night Folk showed up. Within a day he received a call from his father (who was very similar to him in terms of personality) telling him to close down the store for a few days and come home. His reclusive tendencies were overwhelmed by a powerful sense of curiosity, and a day later he was in his Father’s kitchen, listening to his people’s history. He learned of the Hunters, the Night Folk, and his family’s great renown as historians. Ehpik’s father then urged him to heed the call; to take up arms and spend the next years of his life training for what might very well be a fight for humanity’s future. Ehpik didn’t hesitate at all before spending the next ten years submerged in both intensive study, and to a lesser degree combat training (which he didn’t take to nearly as well). Class: Alchemist
Skills: Sense Weakness: Due to his intensive studies, Ehpik is far more knowledgeable about the enemy than any non-Alchemist. He is able to use this knowledge to determine how best to combat whatever variety of Folk he may be facing, be it by targeting a physical weakness (such as a small thermal exhaust port, right beneath the main port) or a specific subterfuge which may be especially effective. It is worth noting that this skill is not infallible- Ehpik has only been studying for ten years, and has much yet to learn. It is also possible, even likely, that new forms of the Folk have evolved over the long years of which no prior knowledge exists.
Transmute: Though new to the art, and largely inexperienced, Ehpik is able to turn small amounts of one substance into another similar substance. The new material maintains the size and shape of the previous one if at all possible. At this stage in his development, Ehpik is only able to transmute objects approximately the size of a brick, and is completely incapable of altering organic matter.
Firewall: One of the few potions Ehpik is capable of brewing creates something very similar to self-igniting naphtha. When exposed to air a short burning (though very, very hot) wall of fire is created. The wall measures only about 5 feet in length and lasts for only a few seconds.
Ritual of the Chimera: One ability Ehpik is not even near to being able to use is that which allows him to create a Chimera. The ritual to create the Chimera is very similar to the mundane concept of demon summoning, involving large quantities of blood, various foul smelling materials, and an extended period of time. This likeness is very appropriate- the newly born Chimera is both massively strong and incredibly resistant to injury. More importantly it isn’t bound in any way to its creator and as such has no compulsion to obey the commands being directed toward it. After the summoning has been completed it is possible to create such bonds, but in its first few hours of life the Chimera is massively dangerous. Even the most powerful of ancient Alchemists used this ability when there was no other option.
Weapons: If at all possible Ehpik prefers to keep the enemy at a distance. As such he uses exclusively projectile weapons, primarily a silenced Heckler and Koch USP pistol. He uses the silencer for two reasons- one is to avoid drawing any more attention than absolutely necessary to whatever it is he may be shooting at, and secondly to reduce the recoil on the gun in order to be able to use it effectively. He isn’t exactly a crack shot, but he’s also more than capable of getting the job done.
Combat Style: Ehpik prefers to hang back and let others do the bulk of the fighting. This is in part due to what can at times be an almost overwhelming fear of the enemy. When he has his back to the wall he becomes far more aggressive than is his norm. He doesn’t go berserk, but becomes cool and calculating. He waits for the enemy to strike first, hoping to force them to make a mistake he can capitalize on._

Title: Founder and Head Director of C.O.M.A.S.

Description/Appearance: Richard is a powerful sorcerer whose magical abilities rival or exceed those of Leon during his time as Emperor of Awesome Land. He is an intelligent, clever man whose love for magic is only beaten by his abhorrence of science. He speaks in a soft but firm voice, the kind you would hear any cult leader speak in, which cause some to speculate what the "C" in his organization actually stands for. Richard is an imposing figure, standing at roughly 6' 3" with broad shoulders and the clothing, cape and shoulder pads one would see on a general. His outfit is entirely black except for his cape, which has a sun shaped pattern stitched into it. He is never seen without the Solendara, an ancient staff forged by some of the world's earliest inhabitants. Although he does not need the staff for spells, he finds it easier to cast spells with it. He has a mildly cold personality; while he finds mindless slaughter foolish, he will use any means necessary to ensure that magic prevails over science forever.
Weapon: Solendara - The Sun Staff. The 5 foot scepter seemingly made of gold that shines even in the darkness is his most loyal companion and an outlet for his immense magical power. The top of the 5 foot staff is a sun like decoration about 1 foot wide whose rays (blades) can be used to cut opponents.
Abilities: Richard is an expert sorcerer able to utilize magic for any possible purpose, and, despite the assumptions one would make about a mage's physical weakness, Richard is quite strong in both mind and body. His staff is exceptionally heavy, and he proves his strength by wielding it with only one hand.
Short History: Richard was born in Awesome Land roughly four or five decades as the only child of a small peasant family. That isn't saying much, however, as most people in Awesome Land were peasants. Few businesses were around and the government did not exist until Leon's rise to power, so most people provided for themselves. His father, a construction worker, emphasized the need for physical strength from an early age, training Richard over 12 hours a day to build his stamina and health. His mother, a farmer, worked equally hard on her own out in the fields to ensure they had enough food to eat. Richard, a naturally bright boy, hated the fact that he had to put in so much work but never found a use for it, and he eventually began researching other ways to do what his father and mother did. Soon after, his father attempted to drive him away from these studies by showing the fruits of working with your hands in construction. Unfortunately he was killed in a construction accident, and Richard's mom died shortly thereafter from illnesses. Richard took responsibility for both losses and began to despise science: Reason one being because it hadn't saved his mother, and reason two being because it was responsible of the collapse of the machine that killed his father. He soon learned about the potency of magic and began to master it in an attempt to resurrect both. He founded the Committee of Magicians Against Science after a revelation in one of his dreams, partially to help him in this goal and partially to end science once and for all.
