Now that I have steady access to Internet and am not swamped with homework, I can post some things I wanted to clear up about the story and explain some things to our newcomers.
1: Awesome Land IV takes place directly after Omega World, which is itself a continuation of Awesome Land III.
2: Awesome Land's (country) current monarch is Aurora Veralice, the younger sister of former Emperor Leon Veralice. She is roughly 15-16 years old and had been studying politics and foreign affairs in Draterran, a dimension with very...vicious inhabitants since the age of 9-10.
3: The word 'imperatrix' is a Latin term used to designate a high ranking commander and is the ancestor of our modern day term "empress". As such, "Imperatrix" refers to Aurora Veralice, not to the Empire of Awesome Land. She uses the term 'Grand Imperatrix' to distinguish herself from the other rulers of Awesome Land, known collectively as the 'Lesser Emperors'.
4: Awesome Land is split into a set of districts, each ruled by a Lesser Emperor or Empress. Each Emperor/Empress is also in charge of a certain department of the government of Awesome Land.
EX: Alastor (who does not yet exist) is in charge of the Gamma District and runs the Department of Technology and Defense.
5: All of Awesome Land is surrounded by an impenetrable barrier created by Aurora and the Lesser Emperors. No one can enter or exit save for the Emperors and those on official business, such as Bara, Typhos and Winston. The Emperors can pass through the barriers easily, but it has to be temporarily opened for anyone else. A very quick person near the barrier, such as Trey, could slip through the barrier the split second it was open.
6: There are two distinct Lesser Emperor/Empress classes - Guardians and General-Emperor.
The General-Emperors are Walter and Taenas and are a rank just above General. They are in charge of leading troops into battle and acquainting themselves with the people of their own country and others. Both Walter and Taenas wear standard armor and capes.
The Guardians are thousands of ranks above the General-Emperors and all wear hooded robes, serving as advisors to Aurora on their departments. Many of them use their own fighting style (Laurine fights hand to hand, for example) and generally have some sort of magical or physical ability which sets them above the other Awesome Land citizens.
If for some reason a General Emperor falls in the line of duty, another General (such as Bara) will be appointed in his place. If a Guardian falls in his/her duty, Aurora will assume all responsibility for that Guardian.
