Holden shuffled on his feet anxiously. This man in balck was so... POWERFUL. Every nerved ending in his body was screaming for his power. He had to restrain himself. If Krispy wanted This Zais absorbed, she would tell him.
But...SO...MUCH...POWER...

"There it is!" Sarah was staring out of ther bow of the ship when she saw land - her home. "Captain L! That's it1 That's really Cool Land!"

Zais glanced at Holden weirdly. "Could you chill out? I can hear you breathing from here." He looked back over at one of the soldiers. "And back to my original question, can I eat you?"

Gabriel appeared in the middle of the newly rebuilt Dynasty City. Citizens were beginning to resettle, but there was still tension in the air, with COMAS still launching raids and border skirmishes.
Nero, Jak, Yu and Kaelyr appeared behind him. "Where are we?" Yu asked.
"Dynasty City" Gabriel answered, motioning for them to followed, as he led them into one of the buildings.
"Never heard of it." Jak grunted, looking around. "Looks a lot like Mundus Veritas though."
Gabriel led the group up some stairs to a room. Nero saw there were others inside already.
Xadam, Myrxxan, Viper and Konig looked up, seeing Gabriel enter. "Welcome back." Myrxxan said, and Gabriel nodded.
"I have brought the final members. With this, we can begin." Gabriel said.

Snap and Crackle moved over to the side to let Krispy move towards Zais. Though she was much smaller than him, an air of confidence seemed to flow around her making her appear bigger. She smirked and brushed her curls out of her dark eyes. "You don't know me now, but soon you will very well. Now about my soldier..." Krispy glanced at the elite Zais was drooling over, "wouldn't you rather have this?"
Krispy held out a bowl of the freshest, crunchiest, crispiest rice krispies that ever existed. She moved her finger gently around the ridge of the bowl, creating a ringing noise. The cereal almost seemed to glow.

Zais glanced at his own bowl of cereal and then back at hers. "You do realize I have been manipulating and seducing with power long before you existed...right?"

Krispy smirked. "Oh, don't be like that. We really have very much in common. We're both wanting the same thing. Destruction." She took a few more steps, shortening the distance between her and Zais. Her henchmen watched her carefully.
"I've heard about you, Lord Zais. Ever since I was very young, I heard tales about your powers and habits, and I've come to realize that you have a perfect place in my plan. You simply have to do your thing, and I'll put it to good use. You only need to take a bite, or if you don't wish to, just listen." She held out the cereal again.

Krispy's smile faded. "Maybe you misheard me."
*Snap*
Snap, the largest of the three henchmen, immediately charged Zais and held his arms tightly behind his back to prevent him from moving. The elite quickly surrounded them, aiming their knives and arrows directly at Zais.

Krispy frowned. "Maybe I'm knew at kidnapping, but not this!"
Krispy knelt down and placed her hands firmly on the ground. All around her, trees began to rustle, and birds flew from their nests. A few little animals even charged through, trying to escape. Suddenly, the ground began to shake, and the trees swayed violently.
Behind Zais, a tital wave of apples quickly approached and toppled on to him. Krispy stood up and giggled. "I chose to camp in the forest for a reason. Nutrients provide me with power."

The pile of apples exploded with a loud bang, sending shockwaves of dark energy in all directions. Zais stood at the center, a grin on his face. "Nutrients?" He hissed. "You call that power? I have ripped the life out of WORLDS! Legions obey my commands!" He summoned his scythe.
He strode up to Krispy and....patted her on the head. "Just make sure you understand that." He said with a friendly grin, that, foe some reason, seemed more dangerous than his previous anger.

She had heard about Zais' randomness, but it was much more shocking and confusing in real life.

Krispy frowned. "I can...give you the gist of it. There are some personal gains I wish to accomplish, and they won't affect you in any way. But, to put it frankly, I want to take over Awesome Land, but I won't stop there. This is only my first step. I'm planning on spreading my authority until it consumes the entire world!" Krispy paused for a moment to add dramatic effect.
"Now for your place in my plan...well, you probably see a few of the issues with a twelve year old girl behind an army. No one will take me seriously. They need to know that I mean serious business. I know of your relations with Leon and friends, and I'm sure with a little manipulation and treachery, they could easily be pushed out of my way. I need your help for this. Are you in?"

"Sure." Zais said immidiatly. "Hmmm you know, I tried to do the same thing to this world, once. But this place is like damn cockroach! Just won't die!" He finished angrily.

Aurora, using her enhanced sense of hearing and aerial position, was able to hear all of Krispy's preposterous idea of taking over Awesome Land and, more importantly, she was able to find out that Krispy was enlisting Zais' help. Aurora's wings flapped wildly as she nervously fluttered about through the air.
"Take over Awesome Land? Now of all times? After most of our soldiers are exhausted from the war?" Aurora whispered to herself. "I must prevent this...But how? I've already proven my incapability at dealing with Laurine...I'm not ready to attempt the aversion of another conflict..." Her wings flapped even more rapidly; she eventually began rising dangerously close to the upper layers of the atmosphere. "Wait!" she exclaimed. "I have Chancellor Awesome! He can help me!" As Aurora calmed down, her wings stopped flapping completely, and she began plummeting to the ground, straight into...CHANCELLOR AWESOME!, sending him crashing to the floor.
Chancellor Awesome laughed and, whispering something to himself, lifted himself to his feet. He then grabbed Aurora's arm and pulled her to her feet as well. With another whisper, a light breeze blew away any dust that coated the empress.
"Someone didn't get her pilot's license." C. Awesome joked. When he saw that Aurora was frowning, the grin faded from his face. Even though he was completely masked, which would make the grin simple to hide, he had an eerie suspicion that Aurora could see through it.
"Chancellor, I've got a bit of a problem. I require your assistance..." Aurora began.
"Problem? Not another foreign relations task, I hope! I just painstakingly started re-establishing good terms with Sir Nye and Dynasty City!" Chancellor Awesome gasped and brought his hands to his already covered mouth.
"You actually established good relations with our neighbors?!" Aurora grinned. "And here you had me thinking that you weren't good at this sort of stuff. I'll have to send you out on many more diplomatic quests." C. Awesome groaned and the smile faded from Aurora's face. "But all of that will have to wait. An invasion of our country is being planned, and I need your help in stopping the threat in its tracks."
An exclamation mark appeared over C. Awesome's head as he stared wide-eyed at Aurora, unable to comprehend what he had just heard. "An...invasion? But this country is just starting to recover! And our only ally as it stands is Dynasty City, and they're just beginning to recover as well!"
"I'm aware of that, Chancellor. I didn't recruit you to tell me what I already know! I recruited you to solve problems that I couldn't! Now, tell me what to do!" Aurora hovered up to eye level with C. Awesome, grabbed his shoulders and shook him violently.
"Calm yourself, Aurora!" Another breeze knocked Aurora away from him. "Would you like my honest opinion?" he asked.
Aurora solemnly nodded, her face changing into one of those sickeningly cute anime faces with obnoxiously large, watery eyes. She looked up at C. Awesome adorably, awaiting a response.
"We escape."
"WHAT?!" Aurora roared, angrily breathing fire toward C. Awesome. Oddly enough, the fire bent around him rather than burning him in any way.
"Allow me to explain." Chancellor Awesome began. "Staying here is equivalent to getting ourselves killed. If an invasion truly is happening, the two of us can not stand against an entire army. It is similar to what you did all those years ago. You escaped Awesome Land-
"I was banished." she corrected him fiercely.
"Regardless, you left and amassed power while away from your country. That move alone, deliberate or not, may have prevented your death at Leon's hands and, more importantly, facilitated your takeover of Awesome Land years later."
A look of comprehension and annoyance wove their way onto Aurora's face. "So, what you're saying is we disappear from the planet to preserve my life so we can come back when we're more powerful?"
"Precisely."
"But...I'm drawn to this place. I couldn't leave for even a week without thinking about it..." Aurora cried, burying her face in C. Awesome's chest.
Slightly embarrassed and caught off guard, C. Awesome suggested another idea. "What if we both do a little bit of training and find some disguises to come back in? No one will suspect you're the Imperatrix or that I'm the Chancellor, so we can catch them off guard and regain control of the land. In the meantime, let them invade. They won't have any more luck than the previous monarchs." C. Awesome smiled. Aurora smiled back and nodded.
"Right. Let's go!" Aurora grabbed C. Awesome's hand and the two flew off to some unknown part of the world for training and hiding.

"DO WHAT YOU WANT FOR A PIRATE IS FREE! YOU ARE A PIRATE!" Captain L yelled, crashing the indestructible S.S. Awesome directly into the port of Really Cool Land.
"Yarr...First stop, Really Cool Land! Home to Prince Johnny and Princess Sarah. Be sure to take their autographs, will ya?" Captain L growled. Everyone on the ship swarmed the still hospitalized Johnny and Sarah, bombarding them with pens and paper.

Sarah managed to break away from the screaming fans and drop down off the ship, landing on a grassy plain. Damn. Captain L steered the ship really far inland.
Sarah shook her head, slightly amused, and set off for home.
