But....there's also a catch. The sword will not choose my own character, it will choose one of you to be the hero. Who? I'll have to decide based on...something, but I won't tell you what. And you won't know until it's time for the sword to choose. So, yeah, my idea is actually more detailed, but that's it in a nutshell. If you can't read some of it, I'll translate.

I actually got the name by typing Monstrosity into thesaurus.com, and Reality was an antonym, so I used that.

NOT. THE. POINT.
I'LL RENAME THE STUPID SWORD IF YOU REALLY WANT! At first, there was no sword until I realized I had no way of winning, so I made it up by using thesaurus. Maybe I'll just make a magical pair of scissors that defeat it. HAPPY?

Basically...America, or around the world if you wish. The Department (of homeland security, amirite. GEORGE BUSH! GEORGE BUSH! GEORGE BUSH!) (my guys) were sent to deal with it and try to find out where the leader of the army is. They explore different places and meet different monsters on the way, curing those who haven't been taken over yet if they can and killing those who are incurable. They meet key members of the army, but not the leader til the end.

so... we can be agents of the Department, or random people whom they meet?

WAIT!
Will this be a mission-based story? As in, we have an objective, complete it, and then return to a "home base"? Cuz that would be cool.

Probably something like that. You can be from the department or just tag along, and I have a better idea for a Good Magical Artifact. It's a necklace also, but it does something else. Can't tell you that.
