I haven't been on the site for a few days, so I obviously haven't seen this thread until now. All I can say is 'woah'. You guys are better than I thought you would be. I'm guessing this thread is going to start a drawing craze amongst you all, and I encourage it. Drawing is fun, and it's something good to learn. Not to mention you'll stop asking me to do stuff for you....but anyway...
Aren't you glad I suggested you do it yourself, Austin? (I will get to your picture eventually by the way.)

It's been a while since I've posted anything in this thread, (about 9 months, it seems. BUSY BUSY BUSY) so here's a picture I just drew:  This one was really more an exercise in hood/cape drawing (and avoiding eye drawing) than anything else. I said I'd draw Zais as he would be depicted in the Awesome Land RPG, but before I do that I need lots and lots of practice, especially with clothing. No clothing wrinkles, same frontal position as my last drawings, and I had to outline it a bit more than I would have preferred (a pencil can only make so many different shades of grey, so I had to outline to differentiate between different parts of the outfit) but all in all I'd say it's at least a marginal improvement. With just tomorrow and Monday before final exams, I'll have a bit more free time, so I may get around to practicing more. |

As far as the gauntlet on the character's right hand is concerned, she was originally supposed to be SHOOTING METEORS AND DESTROYING STUFF, but then I opted for something slightly simpler. So, I connected the meteor to her hand, made it more of an oval shape, added spikes and BAM! Instant gauntlet. Or something comparable to one, maybe...
