"Hey look," Stella pointed at the Kraken. "It's almost as ugly as Creepy Clown Man." She sprang to her feet. "Super awesome space ninja UFO machine, assemble!!!!!" The UFO lazily drifted into view. A compartment opened up and she stuffed the lawlasaurus into the UFO, somehow. "Other guy's got the right idea!" She drew her neon blue katana and flew off to fight the beast.

As Cale slashed open one of the Kraken's many, many tentacles, the wound revealed the dark, horrible insides of the Kraken...which were more, smaller tentacles. Yes, Beaker's insides consisted of rope like guts which the beast could manipulate at will. The thousands of smaller tentacles proceeded to wrap themselves around Cale's legs.

"FIZ!" Cale cut the tentacles around his legs, and leaped back, out of the reach of any more that might appear. That, he decided, is not the way to go. So... what now?

From their place on stage, Chancellor Awesome and Aurora watched the battle unfold.
"Aurora, once again, I do not mean to question your decision, but-
"If you've no intention of questioning my decisions, then you probably shouldn't continue with your sentence, right, Chancellor?" Aurora smiled, lying on her stomach in mid-air, watching the Kraken enthusiastically.
"Yes, Your Majesty..." Chancellor Awesome sighed.

"Solar Prominence Slash!" Stella, having not seen Cale cut off a tentacle, delivered a deep gash to the Kracken's face. Her UFO changed direction without altering momentum and went directly backwards. She stuck her tongue out at the beast.

The Crossmen stepped into Dace's office. Jace and Sherri and Crass and Matteas all pushed Torran forward.
"Uh, hi, Chief. Uh, see, Havoc Squad is in town. You know, Zais's guys?"
RAAAAAWWR.
"Also, it appears that the Kracken is attacking.

Beaker let loose a deafening roar as Stella slashed its face which was still underwater. Instead of more tentacles, it seemed that the Kraken's head was filled with lasers. Electrolasers, to be precise. Lasers that would thus send electric current through anything it could send current through...and the entire country was drenched in salt water. Electric laser beams emerged from the ocean, into the air and back onto the main land, where they started striking down anything that had gotten even remotely wet. Except for the Kraken itself, of course, because that would be stupid.

The beams hit Cale, but he was unharmed. He found that the swords had actually absorbed the beams, and were now glowing so brightly it made it difficult to see. Cale pointed both swords at the Kraken's underwater face, and shot beams at it, in a form which COULD harm it.

Stella was relatively safe from the electric laser beams, but they were still falling all over the town. Not wanting to see lots of people die today, Stella tossed a ridiculous amount of neon green shurikens up into the air. "Northern Lights Shield!" The electric laser beams were drawn to the metal shurikens and struck them instead of the city.
"Yay me!"

"Chancellor, you're armed with your mirror shield, correct?" Aurora frowned as she used her super-vision to spy on Cale's movements from afar.
"I go nowhere without my staff and shield, Aurora. They've been with me since the very beginning and I would never-
"Thanks!" Aurora snatched Chancellor Awesome's shield and placed her palm in front of it. Instantaneously, a dark glow emanated around the shield and it vanished entirely.
"-be anywhere without them..." Chancellor Awesome finished with another sigh.
Back at the scene of the battle, the mirror shield landed directly in front of the Kraken's face, reflecting the beams of energy back toward Cale.

Just before Cale was hit be the beam, a Mysterious Hooded Figure appeared in front of him, and blocked the beam with an apparently magical rapier he held horizontally before him. The MHF was slightly shorter than Cale. He turned, while keeping his face shrouded, and offered Cale a handful of a strange green power.
"You may need this," he said. Cale took it, and immediately the MHF turned around and ran for the shore. He dove into the water, and thrust his sword into the Kraken's face, where it caused a massive explosion.
((Like the sword from Rave Master, only more BOOM))

Unfortunately, the shurikens were now electric. Realizing the potential danger, Stella cranked the UFO up to 88 VPH and flew around, hitting all of them wither her katana, sending them in the general direction of the Kraken, who was busy being distracted by Cale and MHF.
"Electric Meteor Shower Barrage!"

Azzi -who at this point had stopped caring about the random monster appearances- decided he should probably help out. He ran forward towards the Kraken. As he ran he dramatically pointed a finger at the beast and yelled, as if summoning, "VAMPIRE BALLOON RIDLEY!"

"Yeah..." Dace massaged the bridge of his nose. "Yeah we should probably do something about that..."

Sindri had taken the opporitunity to collect Havoc squad and withdraw from the new battle. He finally stopped them in some random part of the city. "Okay...I think it's high time we get the boss-man in here." Sindri said. There was a half-hearted 'hurray!' from Havoc squad.
Sindri stood there for a moment, trying to remember how the hell he was supposed to summon his master-....of yeah, he was a shadow mage. He began creating a Shadow Portal.

Then PFG popped out of the shadow portal and attacked Sindri. "Hi, daddy!"

Each one of the tentacles grabbed one of Stella's neon green electric shurikens. Drenched in ocean water, the tentacles acted as conductors, each one conducting a stream of current down to the Kraken's face. Except...he didn't have a face anymore. The power of MHF's magical exploding rapier had blown the better part of the beast's face away, sending little bits of Kraken chunks everywhere, leaving its brain exposed. Thus, each stream of current went directly into the Kraken's massive brain, supercharging it and bringing it to life, a la Frankenstein.
The brain, roughly the size of a mansion or so, rose high into the air, a vortex of water beneath it. Because of the electricity, each of the connections in its brain had been improved tenfold; it could now send information from one part of its brain to another at speeds far beyond that of light. Additionally, it could use electromagnetic waves to manipulate the world around it. In short, it was a giant, psychokinetic Kraken brain, and it was pissed. In short in short:
"Oh, fiz..." came the succinct words of Chancellor Awesome.
The Kraken's brain psychokinetically lifted all of the now deceased tentacles up into the sky and wrapped them around itself to form a protective barrier. It now looked like a ball of writhing worms. One that could shoot laser beams. And it did so, lashing out its tentacles at the heroes while the laser beams distracted them.

"Some sort of portal demon, for sure." Gree said, not taking his eyes from the horrible sight.
"It's unnatural." Corr added.
"So...should we do something?" Vin asked eventually.
"Sweet Zais someone help me-" Sindri choked out.
"I think he's fine."

Stella heard an explosion that didn't come from the fire or the Kraken and zoomed off in that direction. there she found a wizard blowing fiz up. "Hey, Mr. Wizard man. Stop that!"

The Crossmen ducked out of Dace's office with a smile. Jace looked at Myrxxan "Ok, so you handle the Kraken, and we'll the fire, kthnxbai!"
And they were gone.

Stella's UFO did a barrel roll, but stopped halfway, leaving her upside down. It didn't faze her. "Me. I vas dat. We're in the middle of an epic battle of good and evil - and a Kraken...and the fire. Sooooooooooooo, mind stopping blowing stuff, kay?"

"Oh...Entschuldigung," said Izaak. "I shall put out der feur mit mein water spells!"
He made all the necessary somatic motions with his hands, and spoke the words of power, and all of a sudden...It started raining marshmallows!
"Woops...Dat vas de wrong spell...anyvon fur schmores?"
(it's much funnier when you hear him talking in mein kopf...lol)
