The warrior carrying Vespi suddenly realized that he could teleport, and did just that.
Away to Zais' castle on the island of That's What She Said.
Zais created a bunch more shadow warriors that began to gather supplies for another bastion here in the town.
"Im leaving you in charge here Sindri." he said, turning to the shadow mage. "Please dont screw up."
Sindri couldn't determin if that was a request or a threat.....but knowing Zais it was probably both.
Sindri nodded and Zais teleported off back to his private room to get down with his funky-I mean plot evil and world domination.

Iyephra caught the shadow warrior's cape just as he teleported. He was transported along with the warrior to the Island of Esa Es Que Ella Dijo.
As they traveled through the constricted space of the Warp Dimension, Iyephra struggled to pull his dagger from its sheath. When they finally landed on the island, Iyephra pulled his dagger free and slit the warrior's throat, snatching Vespi from his hands. Then, calling on the wind again, he was lifted into the air by a strong updraft and floated toward the Sky Cave.
He dropped Vespi off, then returned Rhikonyn to take care of Goziad. He had a score to settle.

Sindri stood in the town with a shadow servant.
"Well?" he began. "Did he take the bait?"
The shadow warrior paused for a moment before nodding. "Yes, the trap is set and Sumarillidon is in the cave." he said in a monotone voice.
Sindri chuckled and began to wave his hand. Shaodw began to form in his palm.
"The warp realm is a strange place. You never know if a year has passed or a century. Or perhaps, if you grabbed the right person!" as he said this, the shadows in his palm burst open, to reveal a trembling Vespi.
"Huhuhu well little one, you might just prove some worth after all he chuckled and the dismissed the magic, sending Vespi back into the warp realm. "Just as Lord Zais says, no material prison ever lasts. But nobody can enter the warp realm unless they already know how to enter."
Sindri began to chuckle, which became a full blown maniac laugh that echoed throught the entire town.

Back in the sky cave, the other Vespi opened her eyes, which were a sickly yellow.

The Humors were overjoyed at Vespi's return and a little baffled to find that her injuries were mostly healed up. But they were just glad to have their sister back. Vespi didn't speak the rest of the night and fell asleep without much food.
The other Humors ate and watched over her carefully. Johnny took a post by the cave entrance and watched the sun set.
Yet again he was trapped from his homeland, beyond the reach of anyone who could help him. ~Well, except for Bill...~ Johnny chuckled at the thought.
As the night wore on, his thoughts drifted from Sarah, to Cassandra, to Iephyra, to the Humors and to Zais, and back to Cassandra, but only for a moment.
He mused on his loss of control of his shadow powers. It seems the side effects of the Pocket of Darkness were greater than he thought. He would have to be more careful when employing those powers in the future.
Johnny nodded off to sleep, his thoughts momentarily resting on Cassandra...

(Since no one is bothering to post, I will)
A dimensional portal was ripped open and a figure tumbled out. He stood up and dusted himself off. He was draped in blood-red robes and help a staff with an hourglass at the top. He was, the Time Keeper.
He had struggled with Thraggle'Nahr for control of his mind and won. He looked about his surroundings and sighed.
"This is not Awesome Land or Really Cool Land!" He turned his head from side to side. "Oh well, guess I cans till raise an army here."
Using his time-hax powers he recreated the Clock Tower. All 9001 floors (9002 if you count the roof). He also raised his Chrono Warriors. But not OMEGA RILDEY, he had learned his lesson. No giant dragons.
He declared the land around him the Chrono Empire.

Zais stared at the map in front of him. "What.....the......FUCK!?" he screamed. THis 'Chrono Empire had, quite literally popped up out of nowhere. Zais was beggining to get angry. He checked his own borders.
Zais' shadow army had set up an empire around the Island of Thats What She Said. It was now expanded to ten other islands and an amout of land on the mainland.
Just bordering the Chrono Empire.
Zais growled. THere were two options.
He could try and ally with this new empire, or he could destroy it. Zais knew that a war would be costly, so the war was a last resort.
The man thought for a moment before turning to a waiting servant.
"Summon the Class leaders." he snapped. THe servant scurried off, frightened. Zais turned back to his window.
"At least Sumarillidon is in position. At least ONE annoyance will be taken care of."

The Time Keeper studied the map in front of him. "Hmm, this Zais fellow could be a great ally or a powerful enemy..." He thought about his choices before realizing that neither option was more favorable.
Suddenly a thought came to him. Using his Space-hax abilities he reached into another dimensions and produced... Aev'Uldron Theska. (not the same one) Theska had been his mentor years ago before being banished to another prison dimension.
"Ugh, finally free..." the old man wheezed. "What the hell took you so long!"
"Uh sorry..." TK said sheepishly.
"Well, I suppose you need me AGAIN. What is it?"
"This." TK pointed to the map. His newly formed empire reached the shores of the Land That Has Yet to be Named. Just off shore was Islands owned by Zais.
"Hmm..." Theska studied the map.

Zais sat in a large Hall, at a long table. He sat at the very end, looking over the assembled shadow people that sat at various places at the table.
There were five in total. Each one a leader a leader of his or her own class. The shadow army was divided up into classes, or Houses. Each class ordained to the combat style they used.
Shadow hunter, Ranger, Mage, Warrior or Elite. THey ruled over the shadow armies.
"Honored Houses." Zais began, nodding to each.
"Spare the pleasantries Lord Zais, why have we been summoned." Xiffrin, Shadow hunter leader cut in rudely. Zais sighed. Even if he was ruler of the army, they still governed some power.
"Let the boy finish, Xiffrin. He obviosly has an important reason." a more patient, feminine, voice spoke. Zais smiled.
Faerlin was the Magus leader and one of the most patient people Zais had ever encountered.
"I have gathered you here to discuss our expaning emire." Zais said, his voice echoing through the hall. "And to debate a course of action with this new empire."
"Lets just kill the lot of em'" a gruff voice spoke out. Dedrick was the most war-like out of the Houses, and commanded the Warrior sept.
"War would not be wise at this current time." a smooth voice said. Hyltir, of the Ranger House. "Our empire has barely begun to grow. We need more time to gather resources and troops from the Realm." he said wisely. Dedrick snorted.
"I say we send an envoy to negotiate with this 'Chrono Empire." the final leader, Ouran of the Elite, spoke up.
Zais nodded. "All in favor of negotiation?"
Three raised their hands.
"Against?"
two.
"It is settled then. Negotiation channels will be set up immediatly." Zais said firmly. Dedrick muttered unhappily, while Xiffrin gave no outward sign of irritation.
"Well then, I will take my leave. Gentlemen, Madame." Zais bowed and left the room.
The five leaders vanished in a burst of darkness.

"Torran!" The Time Keeper called to his second-in-command. A light-haired youth immediately was at his side. The armor he wore bore the Mark of the Time Keeper: an hourglass. Metal gloves govered his hands and he had armor on only his right shoulder.
"Yes, m'lord?" He said in a decidedly British (lol, wut's British?) accent.
"Take a battalion of troops and go to the leader of this Empire here," He indicated the map. "Offer them terms of peace." He handed the boy a scrap of paper on which were written his terms.
"Yes, m'lord." Torran bowed slightly and set off on his mission.
"Is that wise? Sending a boy to negotiate?" Theska cautioned.
"Probably not," the Time Keeper smiled. "But you forget what power I command." His hour-staff glowed a deep red color and the hourglass on top turned upside down, letting the sand run down.

Valsair stood slightly impatient in his father's laboratory, waiting for his invention to be completed.
"Calm down, Valsair. It will be ready momentarily." he said in a stern, yet calm and wise voice. The man was crippled, doomed to reside in a wheelchair. He had short brown hair, though his beard had signs of gray in it. His skin was a tad pale due to staying inside all day, but otherwise he was the picture of health.
"I know, Father. It's just..." Valsair trailed off. He had trouble finishing the next sentence. He had been responsible for crippling his father 9 years before and felt guilty about it.
"Yes, I know you feel guilty." the man said solemnly. "But there's no reason to be so hasty." The man was developing a special circular portal that would transfer anyone into a world that needed help. Valsair desired to help as many people as he could due to his guilt.
"Done!" the father exclaimed happily. He rolled over to his son and patted him on the back.
"That's good...So which world has the most evil antagonist?" Valsair asked his father.
The man rolled to his keyboard and pressed some buttons before muttering the words "Random World. Seems there is a man by the name of Time Keeper and another named Zais."
"Take me to the Time Keeper, please. He sounds the most dangerous as of now." said Valsair, taking Ascension and placing it in his scabbard.
"Are you sure? You realize that it may be hard for you to defeat him. And this portal is only one way - That is to say that if you get stuck, you won't be able to come back."
"I know, Father. But this is something...I have to do." Valsair said, looking down to the ground. He grabbed his leather jacket from his father's coat rack and put it on.
"If you truly plan on going, allow me to take that necklace. Jewels are a common target for thieves and I'd rather not have that fall into the wrong hands." his father said warningly.
"Suit yourself, Father." said Valsair, removing his necklace and placing it in his father's lap. "How about the bracelets too?" Valsair asked jokingly.
"Ha ha ha ha ha. You're quite the funny child, Valsair. Now, remember, change clothes often and brush your teeth!" his father yelled as Valsair approached the portal. The inside of the circle began to glow white and sparkle.
"Ok, Father."
"And call me frequently!"
"Ok, Father..."
"I'll be sending you things whenever you need them, so keep your sword phone on!"
"OKAY, Father..."
"And one more thing!"
"What?!?" Valsair asked exasperatedly. He was eager to stop the latest antagonist from winning.
"Stay safe." his father said, a tear almost coming to his eye.
Valsair ran up to his father and hugged him before going back to the portal. "Bye, Father." he said, and he walked through the portal into Random World.

Valsair appeared outside of a giant tower that had somewhere around 9000 floors. "Hmm. This is Random World?" Valsair asked, though he already knew the answer. "Then this must be...where the Time Keeper currently resides. I'm not fond of fighting, and it doesn't look like he's done anything, so perhaps talking to him will suffice?" Valsair asked himself. Tightening his bracelets, Valsair walked up to the main entrance of the Clock Tower and knocked on the door.

Vin was a simple Shadow Hunter, not very experienced with political matters. And yet here he was, standing on the border of the Shadow/Chrono empire, in front of an entire Chrono battalion.
Vin knew his own strengths, and he knew he would only be able to take out a few if things went sour. Still, best not to show weakness.
"Who goes there!" he said loudly, despite his appearance. "Speak!"

The Time Keeper heard the knocking all the way on the 9001st floor. His head whirled around in surprise. "Who DARES to knock at my tower door?" He shouted.
"A better question would be: Where are the guards?" Aev'Uldron Theska remarked grumpily as he stood up. "I'll get the door, you keep track of Torran." He commanded.
The Time Keeper did well to obey his master. "Yes, master."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Torran stepped forward. "I speak! I am Torran, right hand of the Time Keeper, glorious Emperor of the Chrono Empire!" His long scarf waved in the slight breeze. The bags of powder on his belt rustled when he stepped.
"He sends me and my troops on a mission of peace! He is not so thick as to believe war is the only way to accomplish things." He stifled a chuckle with a cough.
"What say you?"
Vin thought for a moment. An alliance with the Chrono Empire would be a good one in his opinion, but he would leave that up to the Houses.
"Very well." he said, nodding. "Follow me, I can take you as far as the next checkpoint."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Vin led the troops to a camp on one of the islands. The Shadow Hunter island. Each house had a respective province in which it governed and trained its troops. Vin thought it might be good to report to Lord Zu Heltzik first. He led Torran to the main camp tent.
Xiffrin zu Heltzik was already there.
"Well done Vin." the House Lord said softly. "You may leave."
Vin bowed, nodded respectfully at Torran and made his leave. Xiffrin turned to the CHrono troops.
"Well now. It seems that your master sent peace offer before ours did. It is of no matter. I will take you to the House Lords, but your troops will have to remain here until it is over." Xiffrin said, his voice betraying nothing.

"I swear I just heard someone shouting, but no one has addressed me. Perhaps if I...?" Valsair trailed off. He lifted one foot so he could examine his shining white boots. They were specially designed by his father to harness electricity. "Here goes..." Valsair said to himself. He began to focus the electric power he had toward his boots. Soon enough he used Random World's magnetic core and his electromagnetic boots to levitate. "Now, I just have to get to the top floor and see the person in the tower." Valsair said, slowly rising to the top.

"Understood." Torran nodded to Xiffrin. He turned to his troops and motioned with his hands. They all relaxed and made a makeshift camp where they stood.
Torran went with Xiffrin, flexing his fingers behind his back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Theska nearly jumped out of his old bones when he saw Valsair levitate up to the 9002 floor. The Time Keeper turned to see what thing the old man may have broken this time only to find a man LEVITATING up to them.
"What is this, AWESOME LAND?" He exclaimed. As Valsair landed he moved closer to him. "You know, you could have just waited."
Xiffrin led Torran to the meeting hall where, once again, all the House Lords and Zais were gathered.
Zais smiled when he saw Torran. "Ah, welcome ambassador of the Chrono Empire. I am eager to finds a means of achieving peace between our two nations." he said smoothly. On his left, Dedrick snorted.
Hylter glared at the warrior then turned to Torran. "Tell us, what is it that can be gained by alliance?"
Johnny and the Humors awoke in mid-morning. They ate a quick breakfast and decided to try and find Johnny a way home. If they happened upon Iephyra, they would try to assist him as well.
Vespi still was unresponsive, even to Heimrall, to whom to was the most open. Heimrall became worried, but her brothers told her not o worry. Vespi would open up again in time, they said.
That's all that was needed. Time
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"What can be gained?" Torran repeated the question to himself. He glanced quickly at the scrap of paper he had been handed. "What CAN'T be gained?" He challenged the House Lords.
"My master commands time and space, the very FABRIC of reality, and you ask what can be gained? You are very shortsighted indeed." There were murmurs among the Lords, and Torran tried to backpedal out of the hole he had just dug.
"What I mean to say is," He offered quickly. "Is that an alliance with my master is a certain conquest of this dimension." He glanced around at the faces. "Why should we quarrel amongst ourselves when so much more gained be gained from a Shadow-Chrono alliance." He was careful to place Shadow before Chrono.
"What can be gained?" He said again. "I tell you EVERYTHING can be gained." He bowed to each of the House Lords and stepped back.

The Houses muttered in conference. Zais stood up and smiled. "Yes, I do like the sound of that. In a way it is completing the puzzle. chrono controls the material realm, and I.....the 'unmaterial'." he said, holding up his hand and forming a small void. "And yes, there is much to be gained from this world. "
"Indeed there would be much to gain. Tell your master that We will agree to an alliance and that I wish to meet with him personally." Zais said. Dedrick grumbled unhappily while Xiffrin and Hyltir were impassive. "Faelin will show you to your quarters. You may rest here tonight and then return in the morning."
That said, Zais disappeared into a darkness portal. The Lords stood to return to their respective territories. Faelin approached Torran.
"Come, follow me." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zais stood in his office, with Ouran by his side.
"What do you think of this deal?" Ouran asked curiously. Zais stayed impassive.
"That Torran fellow is quite interesting. A mirad of futures could play out. As for the Time Keeper, I heard of his exploits in Awsome Lanmd back when I waged war there. He is truly an impressive figure." Zais said with a hint of respect.
Ouran nodded. "What do you need me to do lord?" he asked.
"I want you to assemble a commando team to explore this land. There is plently of territory that we don't control and secrets to be unlocked. Plus there might be more....agitators out there." Zais said, thinking of Iyephra.
Ouran bowed. "It will be done my lord."
