Myrxxan and co. walked up to Aurora. THe boy gave a customary bow and (because Im too lazy to type it) began explaining the group's goals and their plan.

Typhos and his regiment stood at attention on the outskirts of what remained of Super Land. The land was in flames, buildings and corpses burning.Every so often a survivor would break for safety, only to be shot quickly. Typhos viewed it all, quietly trying not wretch in horror and guilt. He had thrown Bara's body off the side of the floating country, not looking back.
"Mame." He saluted to Laurine. "The land is ours."

"Good work, General." Laurine smiled wickedly at the havoc that had been brought upon the land before. "Good, good work..." She checked her badge and pressed a button. "Walter! Pick up the badge!" Laurine commanded. Moments later a voice came through the badge's lack of sound output features.
"Hmm? Laurine, what is it? Where are you?" Walter asked. He had been patrolling the area around the mines ever since the incident with Phiro to prevent anyone from entering the potentially dangerous area.
"Come pick up these soldiers. I'd drop them off myself but I need my airship." Laurine explained.
"Wha?! That's the only airship in Awesome Land!? How do you expect me to-
"LOOK!" Laurine yelled, and she could tell Walter had flinched even though he wasn't clearly visible. "Either come pick them up RIGHT NOW or I'll throw them from the continent!"
"Ugh...Fine." Walter remembered that he had a pet dragon that he no longer visited and moments later flew up to Super Land on the winged steed. He was shocked by the chaos he saw before him, but decided not to question Laurine. He would ask the soldiers about Super Land's fate instead.
"Go with Walter, men. You've done a good job. I should be able to crush those traitors on my own..." Laurine stared at her hands. 10 claw like nails, as always.

"Why not? Special Land is fun!" Leon lied, trying not to laugh under his breath...which shouldn't have been possible under water anyway. But, in the typical ignoring-of-physics fashion of Awesome Land, he continued to breathe and move normally and, what's more he released an electric shock that hit everyone except the protagonists.
"EASY." Leon said, although he wasn't exactly sure how he did that. This suit was still a mystery to him...

Cybele raised an eyebrow before suddenly realizing something. She was outside of Awesome Land. Couldn't she get in trouble for that? She figured she could tell them she was watching the prisoners and was dealing with out-of-the-country affairs. She'd buy that...she hoped. "Unless you give me a reason, I'll beat you to a pulp."

"Someone's attitude is going to get them into a lot of trouble..." Leon sighed, and he took a roll of sushi from a suit compartment. He casually tossed the sushi at Cybele and called "Oh, Queen Criiiiiiideeer!"
At first nothing happened, but slowly the seas began to thunder and whirlpools formed around them. The thundering grew louder and louder until suddenly...IT STOPPED.
The massive, several ton weighing hideous reigning monarch of Special Land, Queen Crider, sat before them on an equally massive golden throne supported by 10,000 heavily armed soldiers. She greedily eyed the sushi Cybele had and called in a horrible gut wrenching voice "Guards! Put me down!" The guards, more than happy to oblige, dropped the queen onto the ground, creating a fissure in the process.
"Queen Crider, this young lady brought you a delicious snack! You should go up to her and eat it! Oh, and she works for Awesome Land, and I know you don't like them, so..." Leon chuckled and pressed a button on his suit, turning invisible.
"Mmm? An Awesome Land official AND a roll of sushi? What a delicious combination!" Queen Crider yelled, and without a further word she began to approach Cybele for her delicious snack.

Cybele's eyes widened before she tossed the sushi at Queen Crider and yelled, "I'M NOT FOOD!"
She took a good few steps back.

"Mmm...But the scent of sushi...it is still on you..." Crider's eyes widened as well and she opened her mouth hungrily, revealing razor sharp teeth suffering from severe decay.
"Uh-oh...Calm down, Queenie." One of the guards said. He picked up the sushi (as Queen Crider can't physically bend down) and tossed into the queen's mouth. She swallowed it whole...or rather it went straight down her throat. SAME DIFF.
"How delicious!" Queen Crider licked her hideous and bulbous lips, walking as quickly as possible to Cybele. Unfortunately her speed was roughly 1/16th of a snail covered in molasses, so she got nowhere. She finally said "Guards! Surround her! Take her to the kitchen for...preparation." The guards, disgusted with the idea, obliged anyway, because they knew they'd be eaten otherwise.
"Sorry, miss..." the guards sighed, and all 10000 were in a circle around Cybele, Johnny and co.

Cybele let out a low growl. "I'm not going anywhere. I am an official of Awesome Land. There will be penalties for this!"
She had absolutely no idea is this was true because she didn't know any of the laws, but she assumed so.

"Mmm..." Queen Crider started to salivate; how this was possible underwater will forever escape me. "I'm afraid that your status means nothing in the realm of Special Land!" She added solemnly "And in the history of Awesome Land emperors, I can't recall a single one that has ever actually cared about the people. Officials are no different. I'm sure your leader could easily replace you...I'm sure she's replaced people before." Crider said, her mind reaching a certain level of intellect before returning to her incessant desire for food.

"We're, uhh, not with her," Johnny hurriedly informed the guards. After a nod from the Queen, Johnny, Sarah and Cassandra scooted out of the way of Cybele's immanent doom in the fat lady's stomach.
"The was a cool sentence, I'll have to remember that!" Johnny produced a pen and paper and scribbled 'Immanent Doom in the Fat Lady's Stomach' for future reference.
"Perhaps a good book... or a crappy emo song..."

Cybele knew what she said was true. She had replaced the guardian before her. She would likely be replaced herself, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to fight back.
Ignoring all physics, she whipped out her guns and fired a warning shot. "Come any close her and you'll find youselves floating on your back."

"What?" Johnny demanded. "We don't float down here!"

Elberich and Dietrich walked along the outside of the barrier into Awesome Land. Elberich remained silent, but inside he was bursting with questions for his teacher. Dietrich stopped, prodded the barrier and stepped back.
"It's not unlike the barrier used to ward the outskirts of Strehan from the Mists. Stronger, but similar."
"Can we pass it, master?"
"We could, yes, but what for? Our destination lies on the other side of this strange land. Let me see..." The old Zauberer produced a leather-bound book, with yellowing pages, and runes that Elberich did not recognize. "Bewegung... Entfernung... Tor!" The barrier rippled.
Dietrich picked up a stone and tossed it in. Elberich looked for it to land on the other side, but it vanished.
"This will take us across to the other side," Dietrich said, noting his student's dubious look.
"Yes, master."
Indeed they did come out on the other end of the land, by the sea.
"Where from here, master?" Elbeirch inquired, even more incredulously (and with a bit of cynicism). Dietrich ignored it, and pointed out to sea. "Across the sea?"
Dietrich shook his head. "Under."

"Threatening the Queen and her men? What outrageous behavior! It is to be expected of a worker of Awesome Land!" Crider bellowed in her horrible voice. "Guards, please escort the rest of these gentlefolk to the main area of the country. Head chef, grab the butter!" Crider yelled and swung her belly at Cybele. Anyone hit by the gelatinous mass would be crushed for certain.

Cybele immediately jumped back, still holding her guns with her. I probably deserve this, but I'm not going to be eaten by a fat queen damnit!
She fired at the queen several times.

For a moment the bullets seemed as if they went straight through the queen...This was all an illusion, however. In actuality the bullets went deep into her fat, almost touching her internal organs, before being reflected back toward Cybele. Such is the power of morbid obesity.
"Yea..." Leon said, almost gagging at the spectacle. "Let's go..." he whispered, and he made his way past the guards and grabbed Johnny and co with him.

They trudged up the stairs, passing Dietrich and Elberich on the way. They nodded politely to each other and continued on.
Stepping onto the surface, Cassandra asked, "What stupid thing that makes no sense are we going to do now?"

Dietrich and Elberich happened upon a scene where the fat Queen Crider was attempting to eat a young girl.
"Your... Your Majesty... what are you doing?"

"That's a good question. I kinda miss Seth...That 7 page battle sure was fun during the time I was conscious..." Leon reminisced, but quickly this feeling of nostalgia transformed into hatred and he slammed his foot on the ground, moving a bush nearby.
"Hm? That bush looks suspicious!" Leon remarked, running up to it. He proceeded to gasp in horror at what he saw. It was General Bara's corpse, having fallen in the bush from Typhos' throwing it. "W-What? An Awesome Land General?" Leon noticed from the attire he wore. "What's...What's going on?"

"This young woman is insolent toward my guards and myself, and I will not tolerate it. She shall be consumed for her crimes." Crider bellowed. "Don't make me eat you two as well..."

Dietrich considered for a moment, then nodded, conceding the point. He motioned Elberich over to the wall where they waited for their turn to speak with the obese queen.
