Cybele stared in shock back at them before turning to the queen. "Uh...Your majesty," she had to force herself to say it, "is there any way I can leave without harm?"

"Mmm...Well, I suppose that eating you won't solve any problems...What might help is if you denounce all ties with that horrid Awesome Land. Then you will be free to leave as you please." Crider said, although one could tell that she regretted the potential loss of her meal.

A young man with short, blond hair and a shining white robe appeared near Johnny, Leon and co. He bore the insignia of Awesome Land on his attire as well as very ornate designs, indicating his prominence within the empire. He held a very shiny, pearl-like lance at his side, one that seemed to light the area despite it being day time. "Is there a problem with Awesome Land?" the man asked, overhearing the complaint about RCL's alliance.

"Oh, forgive me. I sometimes forget myself..." The man took his spear and slashed the air diagonally in front of Leon/Johnny/Co. At first nothing seemed to happen, but soon the very fabric of space began to open and meteors from space poured out. The entire sky grew pitch black and the meteors flew into the air and began to glow, spelling out the letters L, E, and X.
"I am Lex, the Guardian of Magic and Energy within Aurora's empire. It's my goal to ensure that catastrophes involving both of those forces never happen." Lex said, and the meteors faded as the sky returned to its proper color.

Cybele was silent for a moment. She would probably be killed if she deserted, but she would be eaten if she refused. She might have a bad temper and be over-confident, but she knew she couldn't win this one. Then she got an idea. She gracefully bowed before the queen. "Your Majestey, I hereby renounce my title."

"Excellent!" Queen Crider clapped with her enormous hands, creating tidal waves in her vicinity. Some guards looked at her exasperatedly and with their eyes seemed to be saying "This woman is obviously tricking you." but Crider was too absorbed in eating a nearby lobster to notice. "Take her back to the surface!" she commanded through a mouthful of lobster meat, spitting lobster everywhere.
"So disgusting..." one of the guards whispered under his breath. "Come on, Awesome Land person. Don't trust a word you say, but as long as you don't cause problems down here I don't care." he said, taking his posse of 9999 guards to escort Cybele.

She walked back up with the guards to the surface. Once they had left her there, she smiled. She uncrossed her fingers, which were hidden under her sleeve, and turned around to look for her prisoners. "Ah, there they are."
She walked up to them but paused. They were standing next to a corpse. An Awesome Land soldier by the looks of it, and there was a man in front of them. "What's going on here?"

"So...You're asking of me that I grant you the permission to create a land of peace...Ah, what was your name?" Aurora asked, unaccustomed to such unusual requests.

Leon backed away from the corpse and hastily answered nothing. "That child there." Lex pointed to Sarah. "Made a comment about our recent alliance with Really Cool Land. You must be the new Guardian. I am Lex, Guardian of Magic and Energy." Lex summoned a hand of pure light energy to shake Cybele's as was the customary greeting of AL officials.

Cybele shook it and didn't take her eye off of Lex. She hadn't met all of the guardians yet, but this one seemed especially strange. "I am Cybele, Guardian of Internal Affairs. These are my prisoners, who should be back at Awesome Land doing their work." She shot a cold look at them.

"Well then, as Guardian of Internal Affairs, you should be addressing their complaints." Lex replied as he waved them all good-bye. "Oh, and check that bush over there. They're fixating on it for some reason." Lex added, eerily observant considering he had just arrived on the scene. The hand of light transformed into a shining, blindingly bright hovercraft and he flew away, having to speak to Alastor about something.

She nodded and went back to the corpse that was behind the bush. She knealt beside it, examining it. She had seen a few of the soldiers in the army, and most of them were young and easily molded. This man was old and looked hardened and wise. His uniform was also a little more detailed than the others. He must have been a general. She saw two holes in his chest and blood stains around him, and she figured he must have been shot, but where did her come from?
Then she noticed the back of his head was bleeding also. It looked like it had cracked. That still didn't fully answer her question, but she didn't have time to wait. "You all, come help me. We're carrying this corpse back to Awesome Land. We can't just leave him here. He might have a family."

"Yes, Guardian." Leon said sincerely. This was the first of her orders he had been inclined to obey. He bowed his head solemnly before using super robotic strength to carry the body. "LET'S ROLL!" he yelled heroically, and began the journey back to the Awesomest of places.

"And you three want a land of peace, is that it?" Aurora raised her eyebrow and rose from her seat. "And you want to establish this land just where exactly?" Aurora asked, not too pleased with having to deal with zoning property.

Galiana continued to watch from behind Aurora. Her laundry basket was still in her hands, and she tried to understand what they meant. Peace sounded good. Her father could stay in Awesome Land more, and he wouldn't have to work so long. She could see him more often. She liked this idea.

Thomas had awoken long ago to find that Galiana was gone. At first, he was startled, but he figured she didn't want to wake him and went to the palace. He had already explained things there, and they knew what to do to make sure she didn't strain herself too much today. He thought she would be fine.
He knew that the soldiers had been in Special Land (right?), but he wondered when they would get back. A simple meeting shouldn't take that long. They were needed here. Thomas patroled along the streets seeing that everything was calm and normal. I guess they aren't really needed today...
He paused when he saw something through the barrior. He had been standing near the gates, and he recognized the shape of a Guardian's robe. There were others with them, and one was carrying something. He frowned and strained to see what was happening. As they got closer, he recognized the heirs to the throne in Really Cool Land and their comrades, he assumed. Leon he recognized instantly, and the Guardian was the new one, Cybele, but what was Leon carrying? A body? He took a step closer and tried to see who it was. It looked like a soldier, but....
Thomas froze. He recognized the body instantly. The large silouette, the black, graying hair, the general's uniform. It was Bara.

"Well, while peace is wonderful, the problem is that all of Awesome Land is separated into districts, and none of the Lesser Emperors would be pleased with surrendering part of their land, so..." Aurora trailed off, hoping they understood.

Laurine sat in Super Land, and sent Walter off, who proceeded to grab all of the soldiers and Typhos up there and bring them back to Awesome Land. She pressed a button on her badge and spoke to Alastor.
"Alastor, reset the coordinates of the machine to the seas of Awesome Land and proceed with the operation." Laurine commanded in an angry, powerful voice. She was peeved that she could not find Aeon. All of Super Land was hers, however, so it shouldn't be too hard to find them...
"Y-Yes...Laurine..." Alastor sighed and repositioned the machine to aim at the seas of Awesome Land, under which was Special Land.
"I will be at Special Land momentarily. Execute the operation once I give the order. No questions about it." Laurine said firmly, hanging up her badge. She stood at the edge of Super Land with her back toward the vast sky around them and fell, yelling "I'll find you, Aeon and your traitorous friend!" as she plummeted straight through the barrier to Awesome Land, landing on her feet.
