Aurora tapped Bill Nye on the shoulder and mentioned casually "WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF AWESOME LAND?! Awesome Land encompasses a large mass of land which is totally unprotected!" she cried. Super Land came closer to crashing.

Cybele stared at the sky. "Come on, we can't give up this easily. There must be someway to stop this. What if we destroy the machine? Or maybe Aurora can regain control? COME ON!"

Heaven's Judgment was my own invention, and I crafted it from a nigh indestructible metal and many, MANY Power and Siphon crystals..." he trailed off. Power and Siphon Crystals... he thought, a lightbulb going off in his head.

"I'm not a GOD! I can't do everything!"
Everyone stared at him. "what?"
"We'll get right on it!" Crass appeared in the doorway. Jace and Sherri were standing behind him.
"I'll bet we can slow down the fall of Super Land enough so that it doesn't complete pwn everything." Jace looked around. "We brought all of Organization XXI to help."
"You just wait right there!" Sherri gave a thumbs-up before they ran outside.
They card sharks piled onto the Ridleys who ferried them up to the falling island. As one, the entire group leaped from the Pterodactyls. Each reached deep inside and called on their Focus powers and concentrated them on Super Land. It didn't stop, but settled to a harmless feather-light fall.
Some minutes later, Super Land settled nicely in the center of Awesome Land without any collateral damage done.

Cybele sighed and sat down on one of the chairs inside the hospital room. "Thank God. I thought we would be crushed for sure..."
Galiana smiled. She knew it hadn't been long, but for some reason she felt like it had been ages since she last smiled. "Is it...all over?"

"Good, good!" Alastor cheered as he saw Laurine's plan almost completely thwarted. "But...The machine still must be shut off. The Power-Siphon Crystal reaction it uses provides near limitless energy, and if it isn't shut down immediately it will proceed to sweep across the entire nation and destroy us all. Someone will have to take a bunch of Power Crystals to overload the device and shut it down completely. Someone with a history of using dimensional and teleportation magic, perhaps? Not afraid to take a risk or two?" Alastor stared around, wondering where Leon had gone off to.
"NOT HELPING YOU!" Leon yelled from afar.

Zais looked around and sighed. "That thought of killing you all...really looking good right now." he said and warped up to the powerplant thingy. He looked around and saw the machine...then popped back down. "Wait how do I destroy it again?"

"Take this." Alastor shoved a basket full of Power Crystals into Zais' arms. "Hurry over to the machine and open the chamber on top. Dump all of the Power Crystals in there. That should overload the device and cause it to explode. Get out of there before it does." Alastor explained briefly in one breath. He knew that time was running short for the weapon to be destroyed. If they didn't destroy it, it would destroy them.
Leon, who had been spying on them the whole time from some remote location, called from afar. "If you die, can I be the new Deity of Darkness? And do I get your scythe?" he asked.

'No." Zais said happily. "It's really not up to me who becomes the next one, actually." He said to Leon. He warped back up and stared at the machine. "Hmmmm I have to be subtle in opening this thing." He then took his scythe and sliced off the top. He then dumped all the crystals inside.
Things began shaking and buzzing. "I guess that did it." he said happily. A thought suddenly occurred to him. "Hmmmm"
He reappeared down by the others and waved an arm. The machine/bomb suddenly vanished into a portal right as it was about to explode.

"Wow..." Alastor said, amazed at Zais' complete nullification of the threat. Leon was as well, and mentally took back his comment on the hilarity of Zais having a government position.
"Hooray!" Aurora cheered, jumping up and down gleefully. "Now, there's just one thing left to do." she said, producing from hammerspace a megaphone that was an exact replica of the one Laurine had used so many times before. How's that for irony?
Aurora fluttered up to the top of the hospital, cleared her throat, and spoke through the megaphone. "Attention, everyone! Citizens of Super Land, Special Land, Dynasty City and...of course, Awesome Land! As Grand Imperatrix of the nation, I hereby declare that the war is over!"
At first, nothing happened. Before long, however, the population burst into cheer, chanting "Aurora! Aurora! Aurora!" at the top of their lungs.
At this point, Leon was royally ticked off and teleported to the top of the hospital, snatching the megaphone from his sister. "Hey guys!" he began. "Former Emperor Leon Veralice here and-
"BOO! HISS! BOO! YOU SUCK!" cried many of the people who had been alive during his regime and tyranny so many days ago...or however much time has passed since Awesome Land!
"Grr...Let's not forget that this was all Aurora's fault to begin with!" he yelled. No one heard him, thankfully, as they were too busy BOOING and HISSING.
"Give me that megaphone back!" Aurora yelled. Leon, substantially taller than her, waved it tantalizingly above her head. She jumped and jumped after it, completely forgetting that she was able to fly. Soon enough, the two got into a huge cartoony fight complete with smoke and random POWs and BAMs appearing, tumbling back down to the bottom of the hospital.

Zais just stood there with a satisfied smile on his face. Durzo appeared out of nowhere and stared at him. "So I gotta ask...what did you do with that giant exploding factory? I notice that you used a teleportation portal to send it somewhere else."
Zais' grin widened. "Just repaying an old "friend"

The factory, a second away from exploding, appeared next to Clyde. It had a giant sticky note attached to it that said "Hugs and kisses, -Zais"

Clyde turned around to hear a loud buzzing somewhere in his paradise. He saw a giant death ray like machine and approached it cautiously. "Oh, I wonder what this is?" He took the note from the machine and read it.
"Ah, how sweet! No one ever thinks of little ol' Clyde anymore!" Clyde cheered. "Wait a second, this looks like a-"

BACK AT AWESOME LAND
"Ah...Sibling rivalry." Alastor chuckled, recalling his own bouts with Tyras when they were growing up. "But enough of this foolishness!" With a point of the finger he had frozen Leon in place, turning him into a beautiful ice sculpture. Aurora promptly grabbed the megaphone.
"Thank you, Alastor." Aurora bowed to Alastor out of gratitude before turning to the rest. "But he's right. It's going to take a ton of work to remake the country...and surrounding lands..." she gazed in the distance toward Dynasty City. "...to their former glory. It will be a difficult task. It will tax the strength of my citizens. It will drain every bit of courage and wisdom I have. It will take years and years of labor..." Just as everyone thought that Aurora was never going to finish detailing the effort rebuilding would take, she hesitated and smiled. "...but I'm sure we can pull it off. I'm sure I can pull it off." she corrected herself.
With the war behind her and the empire freed of its evils, the wheels of Aurora's mind started spinning as she was ready to start anew.
