Zais stared scornfully at Lex, chuckling slightly. "Insane? Me?" He shrugged. "Maybe. But in reality, most of what I do is out of instinct and nature than anything else. After all, being the Deity of Darkness does call for a bit of evil, wouldn't you say? I could care less about Leon's troubles. Ultimately his life is insignificant. He will grow old and die, and I could just wait for that to happen." He shrugged again. "But why wait? He has been nothing but a pain in my side and toying with lives is....fun."

"I don't care what he's done to you in the past!" Lex yelled, clutching his spear angrily. "Any remotely respectable being, god of darkness or not, would learn to forgive. Only the weak hold on to a grudge, and only the extremely weak would kill over it." Lex shifted his composure to 'Calm Mode' and awaited Zais' response.

One by one the brainwashed citizens of Dynasty City fell to the ground, unconscious. Laurine watched from her tower and smirked.

"Say what you will, it doesn't really matter to me, as you too are ultimately insignificant. Now if you're quite done, I think I'll finish this." Zais turned and raised his scythe.

"I expected you'd do something like that. If there's one thing I can't stand it's a weak deity." Lex said raising his spear high into the air. "All the fragility and insecurity of a human with the strength of a god to make himself feel better about it." Lex jumped into the air and slashed the space in front of him. "Dimension Rift!" The space was torn and began to undergo a vacuum like effect. The rift that had been created sucked Leon in and proceeded to close itself. Lex went back down to the ground, looked up at where the rift had once been, and nodded. You'll be safe for now, Leon... he thought to himself.
"So, what are you going to do now, Mr. Deity of Darkness? Walk away and learn to forgive or take your anger out on me?" Lex demanded.

"Sure I can." Carter ripped one zombie's arm off and proceeded to smack him with it. "It's kinda fun."

Cybele stared horrified. She may have been a killer, but now it seemed just....wrong. "Would you think it was fun if I tore your arm off and smacked you with it?"
Cybele's mouth twitched. It actually seemed kind of funny, but she needed to make her point.

Zais chuckled. Then laughed. "Fool! You actually think you kept him safe by sending him away in a portal? Do you know, that as the Darkness deity, I have control of the realm between realms? All you have done is made him mine." He said happily. Suddenly he warped behind Lex. "But I will take up that offer of yours." He whispered into Lex's ear, and then rammed the blade of his scythe into the man's back.

"Hmph. You would take this action, of course." Lex laughed, trying not to show his pain. "I'm not going to further this battle; there would be no point in it. What would be gained? A dead body or two." Lex pointed toward the central area of Dynasty City, where thousands of corpses of citizens sat upon the ground. "As you can see, we've got enough of those already. Dimension Rift!" Lex slashed in front of him again, opening a portal to wherever he had sent Leon. "When I come back....if I come back, hopefully you will have learned your lesson. Sayonara." Lex stepped through the tear in space and closed it behind him.

"Hey, what's up my unconscious homey?" Lex joked. Leon either didn't find it funny or was too unconscious to answer. Probably the latter. "We're going to travel to my home world, Leon. That'll probably be a safe place for recovery." Lex slashed the space around him again, opened another portal, and dragged himself and Leon through it.

Carter stood triumphantly. "Now, where did that bitch, Laurine go?"

"That's right, fools! Kill the citizens you are supposed to protect!" Laurine cackled as she used a massive telescope to watch Cybele and Carter from within her tower. It was now fully completed and was the perfect location for her residence. It was similar in appearance to the Imperial Palace in Awesome Land, but far wider and armed to the metaphorical teeth with high tech weaponry. "I think it's time for a...boss battle!" she laughed gleefully, delicately pushing a large red button. Near Cybele and Carter, a large door appeared from the ground. It opened and a large platform revealed itself, slowly rising to the surface. Atop the platform was a creature so hideous, so terrifying that only one word/acronym could describe it: RIDLEY. It was a massive, ornately decorated black metallic dragon with cannons on its back, missiles in its fingertips, and a speaker in its large, blade filled mouth. Laurine's voice could be heard through the speaker:
"It's good to see that you two love the city's destruction as much as I do! Allow me to help via this wonderful creation I like to call Necro RIDLEY, named for the death he shall bring upon you all!" Laurine laughed. Necro RIDLEY started breathing acid upon the land, corroding the flesh of the citizens and horribly disfiguring the land.

Ridley scanned the skies. "Hey, Rachel."
"What?"
"Did we ever get that lawyer?"
"No. Why?"
"that." He pointed at Necro RIDLEY.
"Damn!" Riley exclaimed. "We REALLY need a lawyer! Maybe we could sue for deification of character?"
"Probably. Lawyers'll sue for anything, the soulless creatures."
"In the meantime," Racehl suggested, "Perhaps we should take matters into our own hands."
"Right!"
The Ridley siblings took wing and shot their lazahs at Necro RIDLEY.

"Really? Come now! With at least 10 different RIDLEYs over the years, do you think this design would not have come with defense against the original?" Laurine laughed through the speaker. Necro RIDLEY opened his mouth and absorbed the lazars. The eye socket things on his face began to glow.

Zais sighed and rubbed his temples. "Note to self; follow his dimensional trail and destroy his homeworld next." He muttered. Then he noticed the battle around him and sighed heavily. Whatever remained of his troops had gone back to the Void.
He spotted Laurine and shrugged. Why not?
A hop skip and a jump away and he was next to the dictator, scythe swining. "I'll just take out my anger on you, then."

Xavian shrieked in pain as he melted away. "No! No, I will not go back! This cannot happen...." The voice trailed off as Xavian faded from existence, leaving an unconscious Myrxxan in his place.

Unhappy with the fact that Zais should have been unable to see Laurine due to her currently being in her tower, Necro RIDLEY grabbed Zais and tossed him next to Carter and Cybele before breathing more acid.

But Zais jumped back, slapping Necro RIDLEY on the wrist. "Bad rip off!" he scolded then walked over to Laurine and slapped her. "No clue why I did that!"

"That's not fair!" Riley complained.
"Let's use attack pattern Delta!" Ridely said.
"Which one's that?"
"We only have one attack pattern."
"Oh. OOOOOH. Gotcha."
The three Pterodactyls locked claws and began spinning in the air. The centripetal force generated caused the lazahs to spiral inward, forming one giant lazah. When it reached critical mass (or density, i guess) it exploded forward, striking Necro RIDLEY square in the chest.

Laurine, unhappy with the fact that Zais should not have been able to just walk over to her while she was at the top of a 9002 story tower, pressed a button on her wall, opening a trap door and sending him tumbling down all 9002 floors back to where Carter and Cybele were.
Necro RIDLEY got hit by the giant lazah and then exploded from energy overload, destroying 70 percent of Dynasty City. The dragon proceeded to reform itself. "You'll have to do better than that!" Laurine laughed through the speakers. A nearby citizen who hadn't died yelled "AIM 4 DA HORN!" Sure enough, there was a large set of horns on the beast, each horn bearing a sign that said "AIM HERE! IT'S MAH WEAK POINT!!!1!111!!11!one"

"Muthafucka!" Zais yelled, grabbing Necro RIDLEY's horns and ripping them out. He then proceeded to beat necro RIDLEY to death with them. Satisfied, he WARPED back up to Laurine. "We really need to stop meeting like this."
